Kenneth M.Rented a covered trailer for 24 hours. Picked up trailer and it was clean and performed well. My only issue is that there was no flexibility in pickup times. Picking up early, hour or two early, would have made my trip much easier. However, I was told that “we open at 8:00am†so my only option to provide more flexibility would have been to rent the equipment for two days. One other thing that would have improved the experience would be for the trailer to have a tongue jack. I had to manually lift the tongue off the trailer ball by myself. U-haul could provide better service if there was more flexibility to customers and equipment to help avoid manual lifting by customers.

I was in and out in less than 15 minutes both renting the trailer and checking it back in. The trailer itself was in perfect condition and was very easy to pull. Terry L.I was scheduled for a 4:00 PM pick up. I got to the location at 3:45 it took 15 minutes to process the rental. The truck was on empty. I received my paperwork at 4:00 PM had to get gas before I could go to start loading, this was Friday. Apparently I was scheduled to return the rental at 3:00 on Saturday because I arrived at 3:45 PM on Friday. I was charged an extra day of $55.00 for this. I will make sure I post all of these problems on some social format to rent from some what's else besides UHaul. It seems like this company is all about trying to charge extra where ever they can.

Yvonne P.I was told one thing about replacing the gas at the time of pick-up by one person and 2 hours later when I returned it I was charged and told another thing by the woman who was there. Then she called me a liar when I politely informed her of what the man said a few hours earlier. For a 42 mile move and 2 hours I was charged over $70 on a van advertised as 19.95 per day. I will find other means in the future if I need to move something, I will never return to this location and will tell anyone I know who is thinking of renting a truck to avoid uhaul all together. thanksk,

sherlyn L.The location and service at the location was great. My only suggestion would be to work out some of the bugs in the online reservation system. The online system screwed up at the end of my experience setting up the reservation and said I needed to start over. When I started over I did everything the same and then I received two emails saying I had reserved a truck at two different locations. The first reservation had went through even though it said it didn't and when I started over, it reserved a separate truck at a location a few miles away from the first that I did not choose. I had only selected the location I actually had started with. Anyway, finally got the preferred location on the phone when they opened up and they assisted in getting the second reservation removed from my account. Truck was clean and well maintained.
Scott C.I wish I had known that a doorpocket on the inside van doors (Ford cargo van) was not to be used for anything. The pocket, shaped like a phone, enclosed into the dashboard when the door was shut. You cannot see or use the pocket when in the cab. I crushed my phone. There was no orientation to the vehicle. The people were nice, but didn't share this info. Their store front is clean and well organized, but our rental wasn't. I used a leaf blower to blow the dust and food wrappers out of the van.
Susan B.Even though I ordered online and did the pre-check-in process, it took us 20+ minutes to get the vehicle. It was not the owners' fault, it was the computer system. They had to re-enter all my info and call a help line. It took 3 tries to get everything right. Perhaps you need a more up-to-date system.

Robert A.Air conditioners would only cool for about 20 minutes & then we had to ride with windows open. We tried calling a couple of times but couldn't get ahold of any one. The voice mail kept telling us to go online... not in the middle of nowhere can you get online, it was hit just sitting so we had to keep moving. When we turned the truck in they gave me managers number to call to see if we could get a discount. We haven't heard back from him.

Shirley C.Doug and Amy were very helpful. Any improvement I can recommend would be with U-haul policy of availability of equipment. We wanted our 26ft Truck and car transport to be at the same location, but alas, it was not so. Thankfully Doug and Amy at Storage choice were accommodating with our pick-up time because, as you know, it would have been impossible to be in two places at one time. Our reservation was for a 26ft truck and car carrier at the Broadway Drive location on Friday 7/27/2018 at 7:00 a.m., and found out the day before our move that we would have to secure the car carrier across Hattiesburg, in Petal at a Storage facility. Our Moving-Help Movers were going to show-up to pack the truck, and we would not have a car carrier. Thankfully, Andrea, in Traffic negotiated the change in pick-up time for our car carrier to Saturday 7/28/2018 at 8:00 (Storage Choice did not open at 7:00 a.m.). Went smoothly after that. Thanks, Andrea in U-haul MS Traffic, Areatha at the Broadway Drive location, and Doug in Petal at Storage Choice.
