Honestly, customer service was great! Super polite. Great vehicle. Smooth rental process. Probably the best uhaul experience I've ever had. They kinda had a mix up with the paper work when I was to return the truck, where and not noting my account with that info. But other than that they were Grade -A!

ALEJANDRA STruck was barely in useable condition. Transmission slipped, brakes were boggy, and the rear door was very difficult to open. It felt like the tracks were bent and it took an excessive amount of force to get it open. It was acceptable for a local move but I wouldn’t take it on the highway.
Debra Falthough the inside of the pick up truck was clean the bed had a bunch of soggy pizza slices in it. It was pretty gross. i didn't notice until i was loading it.
SHELLAN RTrailer was extremely unbalanced and cause heavy vibrations, within its speed limit. Trailer was loaded to spec and load was properly balanced. Wheels out or balance is possible.

Anthony RI reserved 2 dolly’s for move in and when I picked up the truck, was told none were available and it was taken off the bill, the lady was event nice about it. This was for a move in, of course I need a dolly, I had to call all over town looking for a dolly and since it was college move in it was super hard to find, when I finally found one available it was a 15 minute drive across town to get and had to pay $46 versus the $7 I would have paid for each of the “reserved” ones. Over all I was very disappointed, I made my reservation weeks in advance and the customer service at this location sucked, I even had a question about the mobile check in and the lady at the counter wasn’t very friendly.

Frederick wHi There! I want to give a HUGE Thank you to Shannon in Boise Idaho who assisted me with procuring both the truck and the trailer hitch. She was able to handle an onslaught of customers and phone calls with grace and a smile. Shannon is an exemplary example of customer service and management. Her kindness, grace, care, and ability to handle so many tasks simultaneously with such grace and attentiveness to each and every individual. You are very lucky to have Shannon as an employee and it would behoof both the company and your customers to keep her and perhaps offer her higher position, given the impressiveness of her capabilities.
Chelsea LI was told I could show uo early for my reservation then when I did the lady got mad. Then was told the gas level in the truck which was wrong. Had to sweep out back before loading. Normally I dint have an issue with this location but did this time. Once I returned the vehicle I wasn't greeted or anything other than I'll take the keys. Not a thank you or goodbye.

Richard CWhen I reserved the trailer via the mobile app I was only given three locations to return the trailer. All three were not close to where I unloaded the trailer. There are a lot of U-Haul locations which are closer to my ultimate destination and I would've preferred a closer location to drop off the trailer.
Joseph KTrying to use app was royal pain to get truck after hours. Very difficult to figure out how to start process all the way through getting the key. Equally difficult returning truck. App did not let me take all the pictures of the truck upon return and didn't tell me what to do with fob.

TOM SI should have gone to the actual U-Haul location like I was going to, but chose this one as it seemed more convenient to where I was going to be. I called on the phone a few days before the reservation to review the process and the day of I came 30 minutes early to get things done but each time the lady (Pam I believe) either was really put out by my existence or was just not loving her life, but the customer service was not recommendable to anyone else. I won’t be back to that location.

Jeff BPick up should have been a 5 min process but took about an hour because I had an out of state ID for after hours pickup which if it’s going to be an extended pickup process in that case it should be made known before and they should start doing what they can to complete the longer process before the moment of pickup. My phone ended up dying because it took so long and ended up being a whole headache.
Hyrum Hwould be helpful to know where to securely drop off a trailer.
CHESTER CEverything went smoothly dropping the truck and equipment off except there is very little space to park a 26' truck and car dolly. There should be a code for the storage area even if your not renting a storage. The truck and trailer would have fit in there with no problem.

Jerald SThis was not a UHAUL location, but a storage unit company that offered UHAUL rentals. It was a good location for pickup but wasn't completely clear that it wasn't an actual UHAUL store. Otherwise, the whole process was really easy.
Lauren SAttempted to drop off at location within scheduled time frame. No attendant present and no one answered multiple calls to given phone numbers. No code provided to secure area. Unsecure area so small nowhere to pull off road without blocking gates to storage area. Fumbled way through online drop off process and double parked another U-haul so I could leave. Will never do business with this location again for U-haul or self storage. What a joke!

David SNothing wrong with Storage Plus, it was just 22 miles out of my way. I would have gladly paid a little more for a convenient drop off location down the street from where I live. Technically at $4.54 a gallon means I paid a surcharge anyway, just not to your firm.

Matthew SI’ve rented form U-Haul before, but was very bothered by this experience. I rented from a storage place through the U-Haul app, and when I did the pick up, I told the employee that I was going to leave my car in the customer parking lot. My reservation was for 24 hours, so it didn’t seem like a huge deal. The employee told me it was issue to leave my car in customer parking. As the location is next to the rail road tracks, I didn’t have anywhere else to park my car. I told him I would come back for my car after my husband got off work. Later that evening, my husband and I had to drive the U-Haul Truck out of our way during our rental hours to go back and pick up my car. While picking up my car, the same employee (owner? Not sure) approached me in my car, telling me I had to bring my U-Haul back 3 hours early the following morning. Confused, I pulled up my reservation showing him I had paid for a 24 hour rental. He said he had booked the same truck earlier i than when it was due, and that I needed to bring it back early to accommodate his overbooked customers. The whole situation was bizarre, as it was late at night (9:30-10:00 PM) and he was not in any sort of uniform. He had a dog, which was barking hysterically and he was simultaneously screaming at his dog and talking to me. My husband, watching the whole situation from across the street, then got out of the U-Haul to see who was preventing me from leaving this dark parking lot at night. He then said he would call me in the morning to ask me bring it back early, and did not speak to my husband. He ended up not calling us, and we had no issues for the drop off. Overall it just was a bizarre situation. Would not recommend this location, and am disappointed with the experience. I found the situation vaguely unsafe, impolite, and am unlikely as a customer to use this company again without compensation. Renting moving trucks is not a cheap ordeal, and I am likely to find a small business to support in the future that values my loyalty even if it is at a greater cost.

Garrett EI was not told that the location would be closed on Monday when I arrived. They had my arrival time. It looked like they were closed all day. The sign on the door did not indicate any hours for Mondays and did not say Closed Mondays. Because of that, I was not totally prepared to get my truck online. Took a full hour to complete all the requirements for getting the truck out of the lot. Last year when I went there, they were open on Monday. The online system worked fair once I gathered up all the information I needed - which I did not know I would need since I did not know the location would be closed. The drop off worked okay. I knew the location would be closed then so I was prepared.
