Turned truck in after hours and dropped key. Truck was due back on Sunday. Found out after they charged me for an additional day that this location wasn't open on Sunday. Why did you send me to drop a truck due on Sunday to a location not open on Sunday?????????? GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, DO I HAVE TO DO YOUR JOB????? I paid for service, I didn't get paid to help myself (especially since I don't know anything about your remote locations!!!!!! Good thing you have competition that I can go to next time!!!Sharon M.

Mop the floors! My mattresses had a lingering smell of vomit after being brought into the house after being in the truck. We sprayed Odorban as soon as we opened the truck. It was midday and sunny so that odor was ROBUST in the afternoon.Roger C.

There wasn't a person at the locationâ€”only available by phone and watched through a mounted camera. The person on the phone gave vague directions as to where to place the trailer (no directional signage anywhere), raised his voice when he disagreed with where we had placed the trailer, and cursed at my brother when asked why the placement of the trailer had to be moved. While discussing the placement of the trailer, the gentleman on the phone oddly started complaining about Uhaul customers using this location to drop off their Uhaul rentals. â€œI don't know why they keep sending these people to me.â€ He ultimately hung up without warning. I would suggest having a person at the location for drop offs in order to understand where the rentals should be placed. Much of his aggressiveness was due to his inability to clearly express where he wanted the rentals to be placed.Morgyn R.

I was charged for fuel, I should not have been because I put fuel in prior to turning in, I took a photo of the gauge when I picked it up. I was charged for extra mileage when I specifically said where my destination was going to be. Very dissatisfied with this extra amount tacked on. I have all receipts for fuel as well.Jason M.

The attendant didn't know what he was doing. I was very disappointed, waiting much too long. I paid and thought all was well, as my son was to pick up the truck. He was kept waiting for almost two hours on an already paid for truck. We didn't take the promised trailer, were then hit for more charges for insurance., and i had already paid with a credit card. He wanted me to get back out in rhe snow to pay for insurance. I was given the runaround from the getgo. First was told Storage plus was not open on Saturday, i made arrangements with another uhaul, and then was informed that the storage plus had the sale, and would be open until 1:pm. Then we were told the truck myst be picked up by 11:30. NO I'm not happy with uhaul in Ohio.Anna R.

Check the trucks. My check engine light was on. Cupholders were dirty. I asked for a furniture dolly and there was a regular one instead. Please make sure the trucks have the proper equipment. The office was closed on Sunday so I couldn't go in and talk to them.Emma G.

Truck had a terrible vibration in the left front wheel. Nearly undrivable at highway speed. We had to â€œlimpâ€ last 250 Mike's of our trip.Donald P.
The only thing was we could not get the ramp to come down it would only come out about 15 inches and was stuck. We then could not get it to go all the way back in and had to really force it in to get it to latch so we had to lift everything into the truck so you may want to check that out and see if it needs some repair.Donna C.

My entire experience was an absolute shit show sorry for my language. I live in Ohio my uncle is recently disabled so we were moving him from his home in Kentucky to OH. A uhaul rep was supposed to call me the day prior never didâ€¦ I tried to call and waited on hold for over an hour before I finally hung up. My uhaul and tow package were at two diff locations in Hebron Kentucky I was calling to verify. At 7 am I received two Phone calls back to back from uhaul verifying my reservation finally. Iarrived at 9 am to the facility after driving 4 hours and I was told our truck was not at this location but 40 minutes away, the way we just came. There were two other couples in the facility with the same issue. I was told however this location had my tow dolly. So after driving 40 min each way I arrived back at the facility around noon to a note on the door which I have a picture of that states they were closed for an emergency. I then had to call uhaul and drive another 25 min each way to get the tow dollyâ€¦ finally at 2 pm I was able to start loading. This truck had faulty wipers that flew off in the rain on the way back to Ohio and the gears did not shit properly this truck was a death trap. We were given extra miles for all of the run around and told we'd receive a $100 refund which in my opinion isn't even enough to compensate my personal gas wasted but we then only received $50 refund. I've never had a bad experience with uhaul this was crazyTiffany R.

When I went to pick up the truck I rented I did the phone pickup but I didnt get an code sent to me so I had to call and luckily someone answer the phone. They had to redo everything for me. That was a big mess. Pick up truck by phone a very big mess and made it very stressful for meTravis R.
