The mobile phone check-in was not the greatest experience to say the least. Did everything possible, even called the helpline and tried everything they told me to do..."turn this on, turn this off" etc., etc., which I had already done myself 3 -4 times already before calling. My phone is only 1 yr old so it wasn't that. Had to have my wife drive out 45 mins later and hers worked after about 30 more mins of the entire process (need emergency/2nd contact #, snap a pic of this, snap a pic of that... way too much. I will try to never use this process again. All else was good though 👌👍

RENTAL OF 26' ONEWAY TRUCK TO CLEVELAND WAS DONE ON SHORT NOTICE. NO COMPETITOR HAD A 26 WITHIN 150 MILES. TRUCK CAME IN AS PROMISED / WAS CLEAN / EXCELLENT PRICE MATCH AND TRUCK WAS NEW CONDITION. FLAWLESS OPERATION OF VEHICLE. MR. TAYLOR AND STAFF WERE PERSONALLY COMMITTED TO OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WAS GIVEN 4 DAYS USE OF TRUCK BUT AS A COURTESY I RETURNED THE TRUCK IN 2 DAYS SO OTHERS COULD USE IT IF THEY NEEDED, I ALSO FILLED THE GAS TANK EVEN THOUGH MY CONTRACT ONLY ASKED FOR 3/4 TANK RETURN. THANKS TO THE U-HAUL GROUP / NATIONAL RESERVATIONS/ HENDERSONVILLE PICKUP CENTER / AVON DROP OFF, ACCOMODATIONS WERE EXCELLENT. THANK Y'ALL U-HAUL. EDUB.

The cargo van had a "Oil needs to be changed" light on when I got into the car. This has happened before. Need to ensure oil gets changed. Process was easy to use otherwise and staff is very friendly.

The vehicle must have just got i from Arizona, so the windshield and front was buggy. But the vehicle was in working order. Needed an oil change according to the dashboard message. But the service was just fine!

Booking and checking in on line and then having to repeat the same steps when you go to the location is maddening. Especially when your trying to avoid contact then I'm forced to use the credit card machine to answer questions that I already have answered and make payment which I had already done. Won't do it again.

Upon returning, the gate at the location was closed and I could not get in to drop off the key. I had to park the van in an adjacent lot and leave the key in the door compartment, and leave a message at the facility explaining the situation. Storage Rentals of America should inform future renters what to do if the gate is locked. Otherwise it was a good experience.

I rented a vehicle for a day. The person at this location was friendly but I did not appreciate being asked to provide more information than was absolutely necessary for this transaction/rental. I was asked for at least 3 different telephone numbers and an email address. Why so many numbers, when an I.D., proof of insurance, a credit card and a single telephone number should have sufficed? In this day and age you cannot protect your identity/privacy enough. I hope my information won't be sold and used for marketing purposes.

I had a horrible exsperience with using uhaul. Ive never used it before and when i got the truck it ended up being smaller than i reserved online and when i asked about adding the trailer to it because the truck wouldnt fit my stuff, i was told to drive to west erie ave in lorain to pick up a 12foot trailer and it would 47.00 plus tax added to my bill bc i had just picked up the truck...i drove alllll the way to the uhaul company in lorain and they were extremely rude and charged me 120 bucks for a 5 foot trailer and said it was close to their closing time and they wanted to go home. I then got charged the extra miles to have to drive and pick up the trailer. When i was told they werent going to do so. My account is now overdrawn due to the extra charges. Its just a big mess. But the uhaul in avon ohio and the woman there was nice.

When picked up the vehicle I filled out paperwork before seeing the truck, I was told the tank was full. When we went out to inspect the vehicle the tank was about 7/8 full. The representative said she couldn't change it and that it looked full to her. When I filled the tank upon drop off it went well past the full mark. Therefore I paid for more fuel than I actually used which cost me more money probably 3 gallons at $2.76 per gallon. You should not make the customer sign off on the fuel until it has been viewed.
