Have people on premises to take care of customers
Edwin RNo personnel staffed at this location though there are signs posted with contact information incase you need them, I didn’t mind since I was just dropping off. Parking lot is small and kind of hard to maneuver but overall was an easy return experience.

WILLIAM SSmall, nice lot. Did not talk to any personnel. App and browser on my phone would not work to complete the drop-off checklist, despite having adequate cell phone service.

R JI had requested a hand Dolly and it was not with the truck we had to run all over town to try to find it they were no straps in the truck to strap the appliances in there were no straps on the dolly they knew we needed a dolly to move refrigerators and they gave us just some little piece of junk so no I would not recommend u-haul

Nakai WThe mobile pickup process is not good. While all of the steps made sense, the App kept locking up or crashing and I had to start it multiple times during both pick-up and drop-off. Cell service at the location was just average. If I rent from U-Haul again, it will be at a location where there is staff working.

Michael DThis was 3rd location in Columbia we were sent to because 1st location did not have reserved truck. 2nd location was.closed. Vanessa with local customer service worked very hard to find us a truck in Columbia area. She kept in contact with us knowing we had just driven 3.5 hours for a 1 way rental. We were able to get a larger truck and didn't delay our loading but 1 hour. Big thanks to Vanessa!

Joel AThe location and vehicle were great, but the mobile experience needs work. First, I used the gps to get to the location, then when I tried to "pickup my truck", it couldn't locate me on gps. I had to call customer service who instructed me to try logging in through a web browser. Once I got that situated, and got my key from the lockbox, it was the wrong for a different truck. I couldn't continue because I couldn't log the mileage or gas. So back to customer service I go. Once I get someone again, I'm told I had thr wrong lockbox. So I try the other lockbox, with the same combination, and it worked. Then I had to put the other key back in the other lockbox. Since this location has nobody working in the office, it all has to be done through the app, which had so many problems I'm not sure I want to do it again. When everything worked, it worked great. Returning the truck was a breeze and the truck was great. But the mobile reservation system needs work. It shouldn't take me an hour in 100 degree heat, and 2 calls to customer service, to get a key for a reservation.
Bryant DThe app continues to crash trying to return the equipment, I could not take mileage image, I could not get it to continue, it kept crashing with errors. I have to now call in and do everything manually. Hoping nobody else has rented the equipment in the meantime and damaged it.

Melinda JOverall great experience my only concern is the vehicle made some very strange noises when bringing it to a complete stop loaded. I understand having to slow down earlier and slower than normal vehicles just made concerning reveving noises and was not very reassuring passing one uhaul that caught fire and another being towed. But the facility itself was great. Excellent customer service and very helpful it was quick and easy. Will definitely use this location again if I need another rental

Allen TIt seems like they are never open when I’ve been there. Not yesterday and not on a day a few weeks ago when I needed to buy a lock. The truck they had “ready” to rent did not have a working air conditioner, and with 100° temps when I had the truck it was hot as hell driving it!

Edilberto ETruck needs to be replaced! Has 182,000 miles. Was concerned if it would make it back. But other than loud and sluggish shifting, I did make it back.

Ron BThe vehicle had183,000 miles on it and sounded like it but it got the job done. Horrible gas mileage as you may have guessed. The worst thing was a $19.95 charge for credit cards use .

brandy nI experienced Top Notch, Highly Experienced, Customer Service Oriented Staff while placing reservations for the vehicle and at the time of pick up. Instructions were very clear on proper use of vehicle and return policy. Vehicle was found to be very clean with a full tank of gas. Very appreciative for that. Returning the vehicle was very easy and customer service representative was very thorough. Thank you.
Delores FThe location was well kept and the gentlemen who assisted me in the rental of the truck was very friendly and helpful. My only "complaint" was the truck itself smelled as if the previous driver was smoking and not necessarily things that were legal, however after driving for a while that smell aired out of the air filter, but this is nothing that the company can do so I don't blame UHAUL at all, I just wish people had more respect for property. Otherwise, the truck handled well and took a little getting used too, but worked perfectly for what I needed.

Lois DWe submitted our request for a truck about two weeks in advance. We ordered two dozen furniture pads and an appliance dolly along with the truck rental. When we got there, the online check in went smoothly until we opened the back of the truck and found that NONE of our add-ons were in the truck. I went to the building and asked the employee and he told me he could give me furniture pads but didn't have an appliance dolly. When I asked what he was going to do since we had ordered one, he said there was nothing he could do to help me. He did not have an appliance dolly on hand and shrugged it off saying that he had no solution and it wasn't his fault. This is our second time renting from Uhaul from this location and BOTH TIMES we were missing equipment that had been ordered. Thankfully, I was able to rent an appliance dolly from a local equipment rental store, but I will definitely not be using Uhaul again for my moving needs. I could not be more disappointed in the service or the experience.
