Filling the gas tank was a major inconvenience due to the sensor being broken. It took forever to fill even at a quarter tank. Other than that this is the best location to rent from in the area.Steven N.

The attendant was very rude. Waited several minutes while he paid a bill online. He then said he doesn't see our reservation. He was acting like we inconvieneced him. He asked for my ID and debit card although I uploaded it in advance. I called him about a light on the dashboard since he didn't walk us to the uhaul. He never left the office. He had an attitude and told me dont worry about the light that the uhaul was just dropped off and it was fine. When we returned the uhaul he said he couldn't see we were scheduled to drop off a uhaul and are we sure we were at the right place. Once he found it, he asked us if it was empty and I said yes. He said I can leave and he will do the paperwork later. He was on social media on his phone. I told him I wanted to know the final price and reluctantly he got up and walked to the uhaul. He made us wait several minutes. He then yelled to us that he will email the final invoice. We will not be returning, this man hates his job. Not one day but on both days his customer service was a negative 100.Nina P.
I rented a truck from the Woodland Hills UHAUL almost a month before an important event. I even called twice to follow up to make sure everything was in order. An hour before I was to pick up the truck, I was called and told the truck was not going to be available after all... the prior renter had some trouble returning it on time! OMG ! We had to UBER to other UHAULS to find a truck. The truck we ended up getting from another location was the worst condition we have ever rented. Besides the obvious panic we were in, we were not even offered to be reimbursed for the UBERS! So UNRELIABLE.Josh W.

Your trucks gas gauge is faulty. I drove from desktop to Canoga and Victory only one mile and it was down a quarter of a tank. I spent 30 dollars on gas you need to fix the gas gauge.Sammy F.

Worst rental experience I have ever had. The gentleman helping me was nice and respectful, I have no problem with him. But the first problem occurred when I was told the original location I reserved my truck at no longer had a truck. HUH. Isn't that what a reservation is for, to RESERVE my truck. Then when I went to the new location, I was told there was no appliance dolly, which I requested and reserved online, no furniture pads, and he then tells me the truck has no gas, I would hqve to go fill it up before my move. As if my time wasn't important, I had people waiting on me. And who pays for the additional miles due to the lack of a truck at the location I chose originally, I have to pay that. This was a horrible experience and I have used Uhaul for many years. Maybe it's time to switch to a different provider.Ed P.

Rented truck for 24 hours at noon Sunday . No gas in the truck. Gauge indicated â€˜22 miles to empty'. Added 3 galls of fuel for a 21 mile total journey. Gauge showed â€˜30 miles to empty'. Old truck 142000 miles. Should be rented full and returned full of fuel. Location manager had zero customer service skills. Unhappy and monosyllabic. Returned truck same day before published closing time Location closed and worker was leaving. He instructed me to put keys in mail slot then go to the website to return. Could not close out contract on website because it required a photo of the odometer and I had already locked the truck as I was told to do. Returned the next morning at opening time to close out contract. Waited 20 minutes while I watched the same worker move and close out three trucks left in the lot including mine.Christopher H.

There is no 24/7 pickup option but key drop off option was available. The front office person handed over the key and was very rude because I arrived late and he had to close the store. I arrived late because I planned to pick the key from a box and did not expect a person who was ready to close the store. The equipment we rented in the booking was not provided and the person said it was not available. We had a hard time moving furniture without the equipment. Overall it was a harrowing and disappointing experience. I don't think customers should be the ones to bear the frustration of the staff because the location was not setup to handle 24/7 pickups.Balaji D.

Very rude man. It was my first time renting a UHaul and I was sent to this location due to damage on the original one I rented. Since it was my first time renting a truck at a storage let alone, I was very lost. The man at the desk was very rude and didn't even say much. I gave him my ID & he threw it back with attitude. I asked a couple questions but felt discouraged to keep asking due to the lack of response. Once I signed he said â€œthe trucks out thereâ€ THERE WERE 5 trucks outside, I didn't know which one he referred. He probably spoke to me 5 words in the whole visit, he would just point or sigh, as if he was just angry or tired at 12pm. Probably the last time I rent from this location!VICTOR L.

I honestly don't think you need to do anything to improve your service. The location I originally called didn't have a truck available so they reserved one at the location in woodlands hills I went to, text me a confirmation. it was smooth as silk. The day before picking up the truck I contacted Pat at the location that I was scheduled to pick up the truck to confirm availability they had just closed and turned off the computer, he was extremely kind and turned the computer back on to reassure me that the truck will be ready for me in the morning. I'm deeply grateful that everything went so smoothly, you have a great team at Uhaul! Please acknowledge Pat for being so helpful and considerate, it eased my mind at this difficult time in my life. Reservation provided broken trailer. Rerouted to alternate location 80 mile away. Second site joked about my delimma, endangered me and my vehicle and was rude. Drop off site was efficient. No problems at drop offWilbert B.
I got the truck with less than a quarter tank of gas. When I returned it I had more than half a tank. When I asked the man if I could get some credit for the amount of gas, he said, â€œall I can say is thank you.â€ And this happened with both trucks I rented from this location. Both were accepted by me basically with â€œNo gasâ€ and both were returned with basically more than FIFTY DOLLARS EACH of gas. I should just have returned the trucks at the destination to save me, at least, the mileage of having to return the trucks to the same location where I picked them up!JESUS M.

I explained to the rep I ordered online. He claims there was no order placed with Uhaul. I found out from my bank that I mistakenly ordered online from the Northridge location. I went ahead and placed an order him. This was the location where I bought the boxes. And there were no boxes available for my panel TV. Now this was not the location I picked the truck up from, it was where I purchased the boxes which was right down the street from where I rented the truck. No Furniture Dolly, even though I added it online. Charged 7.5 dollars for 1.5 Gallons of gas, even though I returned it above what I got it at (Traveled less than 10 miles, added 3 gallons of gas before returning it).It was originally just below 3/8 mark, and the receipt shows it returned to the 3/8 mark.
