Truck was quite dirty at time of pickup. Staff seemed unable to handle mobile check-in / pickup efficiently. Despite repeatedly informing him that I had checked in via mobile and just needed to pick up keys, I had to stand around for 15-20 minutes while he tried to figure out your computer system.Gregg N.

I explained to the rep I ordered online. He claims there was no order placed with Uhaul. I found out from my bank that I mistakenly ordered online from the Northridge location. I went ahead and placed an order him. This was the location where I bought the boxes. And there were no boxes available for my panel TV. Now this was not the location I picked the truck up from, it was where I purchased the boxes which was right down the street from where I rented the truck. I need my cc refunded for the overcharge made to my account.RICHARD B.

No Furniture Dolly, even though I added it online. Charged 7.5 dollars for 1.5 Gallons of gas, even though I returned it above what I got it at (Traveled less than 10 miles, added 3 gallons of gas before returning it).It was originally just below 3/8 mark, and the receipt shows it returned to the 3/8 mark. The person who was in the office had no responsiblity .he didnt show the car and check the gas .after returning the truck he overchrged me.he didnt even check when i returned.also at first he said the truck is not working ,but then he rented that to me.he is not responsible and he didnt provide a good service at all.Parvaneh B.

Uhaul should not allow to make 24/7 reservations for places that it is closed at the time of rental. I got a confirmation from your system for a 17:30 pickup and when arrived at location I was informed that they closed at 16:30. After almost an hour on the phone with Uhaul they send me to a different location and I was not able to get the vehicle I was booked. Disappointing.Joao N.

Richard, the employee, refused to mark down the damage to the truck telling me â€œit's a new truckâ€ etc etc. I said â€œthat's great but I see damage and want it marked downâ€ since he was in face making me sign a slip that illustrates a picture of the truck intended to mark down damage. At this point he told me to forget it and leave if I wasn't happy with how he does things even though his protocol could seriously cause customers to get hit with false charges. His practices unethical and attitude very rude. He said (on my camera btw) that he's not a Uhaul employee and could care less about your company. Appalling customer service. I still went forth with the rental as I didn't have time to go elsewhere, so you're welcome for the 300$ rental that Richard tried to take away from Uhaul.Giachary S.

First I was told they did not have a truck for me at Westlake when I was already at that location. I was shipped to Woodland Hills. When I arrived the old gentleman that was there refused to help us with our reservation until he finished his lunch. We had to seat in our car waiting for him to finish his lunch. UNACCEPTABLE to treat customers like that ! Especially when I was paying movers $20 an hour.NOE S.

System needs to be more intuitive. For example, I needed a 15 ft truck on Saturday pick up at noon and drop off at 5 pm. I filled out an application which was processed and it shows a 3:30 pm pick-up. What does this mean? I assumed a system error with a time zone clock malfunction. No other information explaining the 3:30 time. The next day I spoke with a human to confirm and she explained that there were no trucks available at noon but there was one available at 3:30 pm. The UHaul system needs improvements.Sally L.

I was sent the wrong code for the padlock and couldn't get access to truck. I was keen to get an early start â€” one of the reason I opted for the 24-7 no person contact required .. and ultimately has to call telephone numbers and live chat to have someone come out the building with a different code. The whole thing eat into my time a bit â€” but it was annoying more than anything else. The process would have been great if I was given the right info.Gareth W.
I think the guy is too old to be working. When I showed up to get the truck, he was eating; which no one will have a problem with it. But he proceeded to tell me that â€œ California law he gets one hour breakâ€. I tried looking at other places but no one had the truck I needed, so I had to wait in my car. Next day I needed to keep the truck one more day, when I called he seemed very displeased. He said he needed the truck by 9am m, I dropped the truck by 9pm, 12 hours earlier. This is my first bad experience with your company, but I thought you should knowbyron D.

The $19.99 rental is very misleading. It doesn't include the 1.09 per mile (weekend price) or the gas to refill. 50mi. = over 50bucks plus $26. Gas. Too much I'll look around for better options next time. Would've been less expensive by half to rent a truck at home depot by the hour. I wouldn't use Uhaul again. If the gas were included in the mileage charge that would be more acceptable.robert A.
