Very poor customer service. I waited for about an hour trying to get the equipment. I was told to go and look for the truck myself because the rep was busy serving other customers, even though I was the first person there before the store opened

We rented a trailer from Florida and returned it the next day during business hours. The guy who helped us said he would update our return which he did not. We have been billed an extra fee for after hours return. Still no call back on our issue from location. Customer service would not help either. Disappointing!!!

I scheduled access prior to arrival due to holiday and was assured no problems. Upon arrival I was unable to access unit and forced to locate accommodating facility. Frustrating and inconvenient.

I ordered pads I paid for them at the location they were not in the truck when I went back to the store he told me he didn’t have anymore pads but he still had charged me for the pads and then credited the pads that’s bad business practice

The truck that was promised was not made available. We waited an extra day to get a bigger truck and on the day of our pickup, the keys were not there. The people at the Store were very kind and accommodating, but we had to settle for a smaller truck.

This was the first time I rented a Uhaul. The two gentleman were pleasant and professional. Everything was explained in great detail and I felt more at ease when I left. I highly recommend this particular Uhaul location if you have any questions or concerns regarding renting a Uhaul and appreciate excellent customer service.

We were originally supposed to pick up a trailer at another location. It was a very bad experience. Got there we were told our reservation was cancelled and there was no trailer. Staff was rude. So we were directed to other location. The staff there did a good job. The trailer floor had a black oily substance my husband didn't see & it transferred to the mattress & box springs. Partially our fault for not covering them.

This was a location that UHaul sent us to in order to pick up a replacement Appliance Hand Truck that a UHaul Dealer screwed us on.

The employee who serviced me was superb, and excellent with customer service. However, the truck I rented was in awful shape and dangerous to drive at night (lacked cabin lighting for dash and also in cargo area). The transmission sounded like it was going to give out.

The trailer was parked against the fence. After hooking up and driving home, we discovered a lock was in the door latch. By the time we got home and noticed, the pickup place was closed. Luckily, it was one of the cheap locks you can get at most trailer rental places. Whacked it a couple of times with a hammer and it popped right open. Good thing I had a hammer. I usually check inside before I drive off. It goes back to the top of my pre-trip checklist.

The roof has a leak and my mattresses got wet. We tried drying them out and undoubtedly the wood in the box spring was not dried like the cloth material was covering them and when my son laid down on his bed the box spring snapped and broke. I now have to buy another matters set because I it took longer for the top mattreas to dry and I'm not sure it did not mildew on the inside.

The truck did have a "service tire management system" error from the moment it started running, but performed fine. I mentioned it to the gentleman on duty and was informed that the tires had be replaced recently and that it must have affected the monitoring system. While it turned out alright, it would have been nice to be told that it was a possibility, vice looking at the error the entire trip, worried there may be an issue. Besides that, the experience was fine.

This was not our first location. The "headquarters" in Fayetteville, NC was where we were supposed to pick up the truck. However, on the MORNING OF THE MOVE FOR THE 2ND WEEK IN A ROW, we were notified that there was no truck available when we reserved it several days prior. My wife was told there were no trucks available except in Raeford (30+ minutes away). The lady my wife spoke to was extremely rude and HUNG UP ON MY WIFE. We had family travel in from Charlotte (3+ hour drive) to help us with the move and this added unnecessary stress to our move. Thankfully the location on Camden Rd was able to get us a truck after calling around to several locations. The uHaul headquarters is the most poorly run business I have ever had the experience of dealing with. 2 weeks in a row we had reservations for a truck at this location and both times we were called the DAY OF THE MOVE that a truck was unavailable. The staff don't care about the U-Haul part of business. They did not have the full order and I had to go to another store to fulfill order. The staff were not helpful and cared less if I rented there.
