Returned the van after having it for like 6 hours. Went 18 miles and they tried to say 500 plus miles. I called and raised hell. Take a picture of the odometer when you return your rental. Huge error thank goodness I was paying attention

There was some debris in the back of the truck from a previous user. We swept it out, but this should have been checked. Also, fuel was logged at 1/2 tank, but was actually less than that, a little more than 3/8. Not a deal breaker though. The attendant was very helpful and efficient. Facility is very nice, although not sure that would make much difference in renting a truck. Operating hours are convenient as well; many other dealers close early on Fri and Sat.

Make sure paperwork is accurate in regards to vehicle. Do not claim customer rented something they did not, and expect return of products not rented. Employees should make sure to notate in system special arrangements made with customer, after/when verbally stating so. Ensure there is an employee on premise during business hours. Utilize call forwarding if employee must leave premesis or needs to lock down the office. Do not submit drop off times hours after equipment return. Do not claim more miles were driven than actually were. Do not ridiculously overcharge customers or submit numerous holds to a customer’s bank account. Once payment for services are received submit to drop prior holds. Because these actions occurring, cause loss of customers and loss of faith from your community.

I made my reservations online somehow my reservations were Mixed up with two different locations a location that I didn’t even make a reservation for. The other Location even called me and I told him that yet I was still charged by BOTH locations very unhappy now I have to wait three days to get my money back money I needed. I will not use U-Haul ever again Or recommend them.
