Let me start off by saying this was a pick up through the phone app at a closed location. It took over half of an hour to get the keys through this system. In addition I requested dollies to make what was going to be a difficult move easier. When we arrived at the house they were not in the truck. Consequently it took the movers we hired through Uhaul twice as long to move. Since the location was closed so we could not just go and pick them up. Also there was very little gas in the truck. Remember the days of take it full bring it back full? So we went to the gas station..I expected the truck to use a lot so put in $71. The truck gets great gas mileage and only used a small amount. Guess what? They don't reimburse you for gas! That's your gift to the next mover! Did I mention always get the tow option for $5.95 in case you get stuck? It was $700 to get pulled out of the curbside ditch that the truck was stuck in. I will say they made it very easy for me to keep the truck additional days. I am waiting for reimbursement for the rental of the dollies and I am hoping that they reimburse me for my gas but I have no idea. The movers were very professional and did a great job. I wish I had known that with all the delays of getting to the property (checking in and getting the key, having to stop for gas, getting stuck in a ditch) the movers could have been rescheduled. Since I did not know this they tried to do as much as possible and stayed there for the two hours I hired them and unfortunately had to leave just as we arrived with the truck. So I got to hire them again for the next day to do the job. Yup, I got to pay double labor plus! They were great guys though and worked really hard. That was Safe Movers of New England. Highly recommend them. I hope this helps others to not have the bad experience that I had.

I reserved the truck 3 weeks in advance to pick up in Springfield, VT. It was not there, i was sent to Strobels, 1/2 hour away in a snowstorm, delayed my loading 1 day, (movers had to leave, leaving me alone to load) Then i was charged extra day for returning 2 hrs late! I'm not a happy customer!

We had given our information online to expedite the pick-up process. When we arrived at the site to pick up the truck, we still needed to give much information to the lady. Redundant in my opinion. Otherwise a good smooth rental.

When they were disconnecting my trailer they noticed the ball was not tight on the hitch. They detached it, took into the shop and tightened it for me which I thought was very nice.

They didn't know how to use the "system" and complained that UHaul changes the system all the time. Strobel's had to enter all the same information that I had already entered when I reserved the trailer on the UHaul site. Extremely inefficient and frustrating experience. Even though I reserved the trailer a week in advance, I was informed the day before pick up that the trailer was not at my preferred location. I had to drive 40 miles out of my way (in a snow storm) to get the trailer. If I had known this ahead of time, I could have changed my plans around the trailer location. At my preferred location (right next to my hotel) there was a very similar trailer that went un-rented the whole time I was in town. This trailer was never presented to me as an option. If I had known about it, I would have rented it instead. I would have even payed more for it. When I stopped to get gas, I noticed a burning smell but I couldn't figure out if it was coming from my trailer or another car. As soon as I got back on the road, one of the trailer tires disintegrated. If the rest of my experience with UHaul had been good, I would chalk this up to a freak occurrence - but as things are, I'm guessing it was due to poor maintenance. I blame most of this on UHaul corporate. Poorly trained and unhelpful representatives, including the road-side assistance person.

no one called us that the pickup was moved. We picked the original location because how close it was to home. We waited over 40 minutes for service and then we had to drive to the new location.

I reserved a truck at a different location that ended up being too big, so I didn't use it and got a truck I needed at the above location, however you charged me for both and didn't refund my $79.43. Would like my money back.

I dropped off the vehicle after dark. The site was not well lighted. It was a little confusing about where to leave the truck and where the drop-box was. The person at the U-Haul phone number I called prior to drop off was not friendly nor especially helpful.

Trailers- should have jacks on them- I could lift off and on but I am sure that smaller stature folks would have difficulties.
