The U-Haul owner was great. The phone conversation from the beginning was excellent even to the end. I ended up renting and I think I made best the best decision by going to the location that I went to. I would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

Sharp turn into the lot without a lot of clear signage, but ample space to figure out the check-in. No personnel in sight, self check-in.

When checking in through app it had wrong truck and wrong mileage. I had to call to get the correct truck info to unlock to get key. Took a long time! They had to put a note in the system saying the mileage was incorrect which made me nervous cause i thought here we go i just know some bull going happen when trying to drop off truck and going to try to charge me more. So far so good it been 2 days and no extra charges.

This location went above and beyond to accomadate me on a same day rental. This location will be my first choice.

I originally reserved my truck at the South Capital street U-Haul location in DC. The DC location canceled my reservation the day before pickup due to not having any trucks available. I went by and counted 12 ten foot units on property. I made the reservation three week prior. Terrible service. Corey called me from his Maryland location and informed me that he now had my reservation. I explained to him what had happened. He went the extra mile making sure I had a truck ready and available for pickup at 7am. I called him numerous times and he always answered. I highly recommend using the Sugar Rim bar location for your rental truck needs. Thank u Corey, your customer service is excellent.

I chose this location as my drop off location because it is open on the day I needed to drop return it. They were not there when I arrived and had to waste an hour of my day dealing with Uhaul representatives on the phone. No ine was at the location for me to give my keys to. Thank you to the phone reps for their helps. To the people at Sugar Rim Bar, please keep your commitments and do stop wasting people’s time. I was not able to see the location on the inside so I don’t know if it was clean and inviting. Therefore I have rated it a no, not clean.

The only issue was I picked up the trailer, and the guy took a photo but never gave me a contract. When I went to return, it took over an hour plus fees that I did not agree to

This location works well if you are comfortable doing the process mostly on the U-Haul app. The owner of this facility is very personable and provided excellent customer service. It was a different experience but it can work for me in the future

The signage for the location was more subtle than I had been expecting from seeing other locations. There were some other U-Haul vehicles parked nearby and the office had the appropriate paperwork displayed, so I was comfortable with turning over the vehicle I had. The internet connection was a little slow, but the employee took the opportunity to take care of other parts of the check-in while things were loading on the computer to help make things go more smoothly.

I paid for equipment ( dolly & furniture pads) that was not in the truck but I was still billed for them.
