Service was quick and friendly, but one of the tire straps was torn and way too short and I didn’t notice this until I was loading my car on to the trailer. Would have been nice if this was noticed before I picked up the trailer since I had to call roadside assistance and drive to a different U-Haul location to have the strap replaced.
ANDREW PThe truck box had not been swept out. The engine light was on but person said don’t worry about it. The counter person didn’t do a walk about before renting. Tried to charge for gas on return but we had a picture of the mileage which showed the gas gauge.

CHRISTOPHER BThe UHaul trailer I was given had a patch repair on the roof that was very inadequate. The repair had a hole in it that went completely through the roof of the trailer. I drove from Welland Ontario to Parksville British Columbia between November 14, 2024 to November 23, 2024. I travelled through snow and rain. I got to the storage facility and trailer drop off site in Parksville, BC to find the contents of the trailer saturated! Irreplaceable contents are ruined from water damage. This damage was witnessed by the staff at the facility where the trailer was returned. I immediately called the location where I rented the trailer from and was told to call customer service. No compassion or empathy for the experience. I asked why the equipment was not inspected before being rented and I was given the excuse that the last renter didn’t complain. I have multiple videos of the hole in the roof and the damage to my contents. Do not rent this trailer AV9372B Oklahoma plate 2002R7

DONALD GCould not attach the equipment. The ppl couldn’t help. Said they r not allowed to help. Uhual old. Rusty. Not fixed. Rented over I wk. want some rebate. No way they said. Faulty. Terrible. I used to go to Welland site. Had perfect service & uhual. These ppl totally inefficient. The door went up too & stuck. We had to get help. Plus took 15 min to fix tung. Not good. My partner hurt his hand trying to do all this. I’m disabled. I can’t rent ever again.

Frank PI reserved truck at Sugarloaf convience . Great family, made it easy for me. Then U Haul regional office calls me. You can not have either truck because they are one way trucks. U Haul would rather let trucks sit unrented than see them used. U haul recommended i go to a DIFFERENT CITY to rent BULLSHIT !!!!!!!!!!!! Called Sugarloaf Convinence back and told them the BULSHIT call i recieved from Uhaul regional office. They took care of me at Sugarloaf. I still got to rent the truck after we involved managers. Stupid policy for a small town. GO TO A NEIBORING CITY AND RENT ONE , Your EXCUTIVES are a JOKE !!!

Peter DGuy was late. He was rude. Told me I could not leave my car, but ended up allowing it because I drove 30 minutes to get there. Any time I asked for clarity He said that a Uhaul thing (then) and he was responsible for nothing. Unpleasant experience.

Oh I’m sorry miles … what should of cost 250 tops Costed me almost 400, girl at counter, no printer, no parking, what the actual ?? Never again will I be using uhaul. Truck needs work something is wrong with transmission
Tania FI was told that the key for the truck is the same key that works on a pad lock that was attached to the truck. We locked up the truck with the padlock that was provided and then we found out the key provided is not compatible with the padlock. We were locked out on moving day. It significantly delayed my move, and I had to pay for movers who couldn’t do anything. I am still waiting for the location to take accountability and provide a refund.

jennifer GTook forever to do the paperwork. The in store guy had to phone whoever was doing the paperwork and then the paperwork was sent electronically. The left the store only long enough to point out the trailer. I was left to hook up and walk around. I was not told that I would get an email with a picture to check the damage. I freaked out when I discovered the email that was sent entitled damage picture. I thought I was being charged for damage. The attachment would not pull up it was expired because I had already returned the trailer. I made a trip back to the drop off location trying to figure out what wss going on.
Ed MMaintain your vehicles. the speedometer stopped working, it started shaking when we hit over 100kms. i was originally supposed to pick up in he falls i stated that we were going to do a 3000kms job. you left us with a melon.

W .Worst experience nightmare trying to drop off trailer I was sent to a location in Welland . 519 King Street. The gentleman at the location didn’t have a clue about how to return the trailer. We tried the app as instructed by the text message I received from U-Haul. After an hour on the phone, and several calls to U-Haul I was told the app doesn’t work for trailer returns and I had to get the attendant at the location to process the return. Back into the store I went only to be told to just leave the trailer and a phone number and he would get someone to do the return later. I did not feel comfortable leaving the trailer with no record of the return. I then took the trailer to the Port Colborne location and returned it. I was in and out trailer doped at the Port Colborne location in less than 10 minutes. This is where I originally requested to return the trailer bur was told by the U-Haul operator I couldn’t return it there because his lot was too full. So to summarize my experience first I was lied to by the U-Haul operator, second the Welland location was incapable of accepting the return, thirdly I wasted two hours trying to make the return and trying to contact someone at U-Haul and lastly drove an extra 60 km . If this happened to you how would you rate your experience? Same as me worst rental anyone could ask for and will avoid U-Haul at all cost. U-Haul will be my last choice for future rentals

Daniel AThe door was frozen shut, I put the dolly in myself and they didn’t have the right one so we had to use the giant one. The ramp was not secured. The gas cap was left open. There was garbage left in the truck. Advised rep he said yes we complained. Ok so… clean it up? When we said something about the gas mileage being Insane, rep replied yes me know….horrible horrible experience. Every other has been exceptional. This one. What In the actual fuck…..
