Please make sure the truck is clean. There were furniture pads in cargo and old masks in the cab. Which is how I received it.

The particular Uhaul 9ft. Cargo Van I rented had garbage in the front behind the driver and passenger seats. There was some debris in the back of the van as well.

Back of Truck was sullied. They should have washed it down. There are power washers that U-Haul employees have access to at 4th Ave. Most of the blame goes to U-Haul corporate and some to this location/franchise for not properly cleaning out their trucks.

The man at the register was very rude and disorganized. He speaks to multiple customers at once, which confuses us as to whom he is attending to. He was not clear with directions of what was required in order to verify I had ordered the U-Haul in advance. I also had to coax him into moving a U-Haul truck for me so that I could drive the one reserved for me out of the parking lot, as it was boxed in. Those U-Haul trucks are also parked too tightly together and there is not a lot of room to get out of the parking area. I will order a U-Haul truck again but not from that location.

I was charged 25 dollars for a cleaning fee, despite having been given a dirty van to begin with (that I made less filthy). They also sold this as having a "Full" tank, but when I left it was at 7/8, and I was charged for more.

Agent is a liar. We returned the uhaul gas tank to right under half tank. He marks that we left the gas on less than quarter. When I called him and told him to check he was uncooperative and didn't confirm on the phone. He's the only, one worker. He also does the gas and store as well as uhaul return. Bad business.

Avoid this location if you can. Location is a gas station which is convenient but that's about the only thing good about it...when you need to refuel it's easy. BUT that's IF you get a truck/Van. If you need the vehicle for a specific time or someone else is depending on you, AVOID this location...go somewhere further.

Terrible customer service. Reservation made days in advance. Found out at the store that the location representative did not reserve a truck for me. The rental was being managed in a convenient store therefore, he had to stop processing my rental and attended to customers every time a customer walked in. The rental was booked for 7am, did not leave the store until about 7:45am. The reservation was made for early pick up to meet the time deadline which I almost missed. Will not be renting here again, probably not be renting Uhaul altogether. Nevertheless, the customer service representative that I did speak to over the phone the day of the rental was super helpful. Things to improve. 1. Make sure the equipment is actually available and reserved at the rental. No one wants to find out that the equipment reserved is not available the day he/she needs it. 2. Make the entire rental process electronic/online as much as possible to limit interaction with clerical staff at the store. 3. Make the pick up process (such as driver license scanning) available the day before the scheduled pick up. One should just be picking up keys and inspecting the truck on the move date, nothing more.

Upon pulling up to the location, I saw the trucks randomly parked around the lot. I had to wait over 30 minutes to get checked in. Notice my reservation was for 5:30pm, I arrived earlier than that, and the actual reservation started after 6pm. The attendant charged me $10 to park my car in the lot which was not disclosed until after I accepted the keys. There was no signage or even a dedicated representative for U-haul. It was just a gas station attendant who periodically stopped the process to sell lottery tickets to the seemingly homeless people that entered the store. The van was in horrid condition. Partially due to the recent snow, but mostly due to wear and tear and poor maintenance. Please refer to the pictures I uploaded upon check-in. Driving the van was a nightmare filled with squeaks and bumps. I don't know how old the vehicle is, but I've driven 20 year old cars that were smoother and had more tech/features. This was a stripped down model. A container with wheels. None of the pictures that I was asked to approve matched this vehicle. You can compare the pictures I uploaded on the spot against the pictures they uploaded. The gas reading on the check-in was slightly higher than what it actually was. Again, refer to my pictures. I even ended up returning the van with more gas than I picked it up with. The check-out process left me questioning whether my reservation was completed. No receipt, no printout, nothing to sign or affirm. Overall, this was a miserable experience. Obviously, I'd never return to this location. I've had pleasant experiences with U-haul in the past. This location needs some corporate oversight.

AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER. I DID THE ONLINE DROP OFF. THEN THE UHAUL NEGHBORHOOD ATTENDENT TOLD ME I HAD TO TAKE IT TO ANOTHER LOCATION AFTER I ALREADY DROPPED IT OFF. AFTER I TOLD HIM I CANNOT TAKE THE TRAILER ON THE ROAD BECAUSE ITS ALREADY CHECKED IN HE SAID HE DOESNT CARE. THENI WAS BLOCKED IN WITH UHAUL TRUCKS BE5549B AND UNABLE TO LEAVE FOR 2 HOURS. I WAS HELD HOSTAGE BUT THIS UHAUL NEIGHBORHOOD DEALER FOR 2 HOURS. I WASNT COMPENSATED. AND I GOT NO APOLOGY. IS THIS WHAT UHAUL IS ALLOWING ITS AUTHORIZED NEIGHBORHOOD DEALERS TO DO TO THEIR CUSTOMERS?????? NEVER AGAIN. I REPEAT NEVER EVER AGAIN. EVEN AFTER CALLING 1800 UHAUL ALL THAT WAS DONE IS THAT THEY WERE ASKED TO LET ME LEAVE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I HAVE THE PICTURES AND VIDEO TO PROVE IT. IM SURE PENSKE, BUDGET, AND HOMEDEPOT RENTAL DONT HOLD THEIR CUSTOMERS HOSTAGE AFTER PAYING, USING AND RETURNING THE EQUIPMENT WITHOUT DAMAGE.

I order 3 dolly and furniture padding/covers and when I went to collect the truck the items weren't there. This made my move extremely difficult. Next time tell people in advance if the equipment order isn't there so they can work around the issues to have a smooth transition.

It took 45 min for me to get the truck when I went to pick up The truck was damaged When I returned it took 2 days for them to close the contract and there was a cleaning fee on there when I returned a clean truck
