JOHNATHAN CTruck was full of ants on the passenger side and the a/c didn’t work properly. Couldn’t feel any air blowing out the vents. This has happened twice to me with U-Haul from two different locations. Yet they don’t want to refund you at least part of your money back for having to ride in a hot rental. This will be my last time EVER using U-Haul.
ETHAN SThe location was an out of the way self-storage with a hole in the door to drop the key through. Interesting, I had to drive by an actual brick and mortar Uhaul distribution location - when I asked if I could drop my vehicle off there they had the courtesy to tell me that if I did I would be additionally charged. Why would a service company opt to avoid contact with their customer?

DWAYNE AI was very disappointed with this U-Haul experience. I initially had the pick up in Phenix City Alabama then it was changed to Columbus Georgia. When I got to Columbus Georgia, the place was closed. I then called U-Haul and was told there was no truck available in Phenix City or Columbus. I had to drive all the way to Opelika Alabama to pick up a 26 foot truck when I originally ordered a 20 foot truck. This caused extra expense in gas and time! Although I was compensated by going from a 20 foot to a 26 foot truck that I did not need. I was not compensated for the extra gas mileage that it cost and the time. I would really appreciate compensation from U-Haul for this expense , and the extra time it took me to drive all the way to Opelika and back.

MICHAEL EI ordered a 10' from the main U haul at Auburn two weeks prior. Did not like that I had to go to this location and was forced to get a 15' even though they had two 10' long trucks on the lot.

Quardedric WI was well pleased with the professionalism of this UHaul office location. The only issue was the computer verification process that was sent to my phone was a little slow. This was not a problem. The manager stepped right in to help with the process. She did an awesome job.

Shawn RNice customer service and truck was up front ready to go. Maybe mention to people that the 10 ft. truck does not have the pull out ramp. Just fyi.
Heidi HReservation was messed up and took 2 hours and MULTIPLE calls to resolve. Local site was helpful but other site on Opelika Rd in Auburn was VERY unhelpful and very unprofessional. They made the reservation at the Auburn location.
Danny SWe were told when we picked up the truck that the return location would be open until 7:00 on a Saturday. When we arrived at 5:30pm, the location had closed at 2:00pm and would not re-open until Monday at 9:00am!

Peggy II called the location that was emailed to me on 2/6 the day I reserved the truck to find out that this was the wrong location that was one flag. Called the location that was giving to on the phone to confirm. Day of pickup was a disaster. I arrived like 40 mins before pickup, after paying for the truck the key was not there, the spare key didn't work. I was told that I could go to another location at 1pm but I needed to start moving way before 1pm. So, I was told that someone would come and make a key and it would take 15 to 20 minutes, 30 minutes to the most. I agreed and as that they just give me a call. Keep in mind everything was paid for and ready to go. So why did I get double charged talking about the first transaction was reversed but it has yet to show up in my account. I am very upset!!
Shenika BThe only problem with the rental was this location didn’t have all of the accessories I wanted and had reserved online. Other than that it was an excellent experience.

Bryan HThis truck was in need of a front end alignment or something. It has a hard vibration around 40mph and got even worse the more you accelerated. I called multiple times and was out on hold multiple times. I spoke to one representative which recommend me to be transferred to road side assistance. After being transferred, I was on hold over an hour and never spoke to anyone. This was the worst trip I’ve ever had. It was obvious this truck wasn’t checked prior after whoever used it last time because if it was the problem would of been noticed and fixed. I will never use this place again. My daughter and I had to travel in this uhaul that was swaying all over the road and could of be seriously injured after being on the phone over 2hrs waiting to speak to people which never happened.

Anna CThe UHaul I was issued did not have working A/C. I drove from Alabama to Georgia in 90 degree temperatures with no relief. I voiced my complaint when I turned the vehicle in and was told I would hear from someone, but that never occurred.
CHRISTOPHER KProvide a lock with the Uhaul so that the items being transferred can be secured when the vehicle is not occupied.
Latroya SI have photos showing I drove ONLY 20 miles but I was charged for almost 5x that many. This is absolutely ridiculous to me. Does no one check the mileage afterwards?
Katie BReserved the truck on Thursday morning for Friday morning pick up at 6am. I reserved 2 sets of hand trucks, 1 appliance hand truck, 2 dollies, and 120 moving blankets. Order confirmed no problem. I get there to pick the truck up takes me 45 minutes to get the online pick up done since this location doesn't open until 9am. I didn't have the first piece of moving equipment in the truck so that set me back 4 hours since I had to load by hand until the store opened, went back to the store to get the moving supplies and they did not have everything that I asked for plus they were going to charge me full price even though I had already been working 4 hours without it. I get a call later asking me when I am going to be finished with the truck knowing this is a 24hr rental since I didn't get it back to them before they closed I get charged for 2 days rental. I will never use u-haul for a single rental ever again. Customer service offered a $20 dollar coupon, wow thanks for nothing. By the way this was a 24ft truck rental.

William mAfter walking around the 26 foot truck I noticed additional marks or damage on the truck that were not identified with a “black X sticky”. I went inside and informed the gentleman behind the counter of what I saw his reply was “it’s OK we’re not gonna charge you for that it’s no big deal” to which I replied “can I get that in writing”? he then walked outside with me and placed black X stickies on the damage that I saw and asked me, Do you felt better”? his condescending attitude was not appreciated.
