The staff were not helpful at all, they had equipment everywhere making it impossible to back in the trailer where i was Asked to put it. I had To unhitch the trailer and push it into place by hand by myself in the pouring rain, while the employee stood by and watched. The doors to the business were locked when there at 9:30 am and no lights on (even though the store hours are 8:30 am). Pretty poorly run establishment

Stephen NI booked the truck for 10 AM. Store owner calls and asks if i can pick it up at 3 PM the day before. I say yes, but show up and the store is locked. I have to call them to open up, and wait outside for 10 minutes. Then when i get in, they ask me if I can pay in cash instead of card. I gave them $30 cash and was told there would not be any further charges. Then two days later i get a charge of over $100 on my card. Essentially, this store stole $30 from me for no reason.

KRISTON FThis uhaul seller is a SCAMMER. I tried to do mobile pickup and the woman refused and said I needed to go in store - she then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to pay cash - which I didn't even know was possible. Then she decided to pry and ask me what I'm using the truck for and I told her I was picking up a small lawnmower to bring home - even CONFIRMING with her that it was a regular lawnmower and not one of those crazy large riding mowers. She told me when I return the truck that night to knock on her house door to return the truck. When I returned the truck she refused to come out and told me NOT to use the uhaul app to return the truck and that she would "handle the truck in the morning" to leave the keys in the box. I wake up today to a receipt charging me over $200 and saying I DAMAGED the truck! With a tiny TINY piece of cargo! I have been driving and using Uhaul for YEARS and have NEVER had a problem with a truck or accident. This person is a SCAMMER and I WILL be reporting them tomorrow! I refuse to pay for this shady and lying business and will make sure EVERYONE knows what they're getting here. Funnily enough after seeing this bill I went to their business and saw MULTIPLE reviews all saying how they were scammed by the contrasts. Never. Again.

CLYDE GI was very happy with the dealer, but I was less happy with uhaul.com and the app. The web page let me select a pickup location that didn't have any of the vehicles I needed, so I was called and made to change the pickup location. Then I was asked to use the app to pickup the vehicle, but I didn't get any instruction on how that would actually happen. The local dealer sorted me out.
Donald DThe dual axle 12' trailer I rented is missing a jack stand requiring the customer to physically lift the tongue of the trailer off the ball to decouple. I've had shoulder pain ever since lifting the trailer to drop it off. They knew it was missing, they knew it was necessary, but have not replaced it and I get to suffer the consequence.

Very unfortunate experience here.

Rocelyn lWhen returning the trailer the lot was unplowed and untreated. Although their was less than 2" of snow, it was extremely slick. It was near impossible to park the trailer appropriately as it kept sliding all over the parking lot.
JUSTIN LEven after receiving a confirmation, our first location in Spencer failed to have our truck setup for after hours pick up. The hotline directed us to the North Oxford location. The owners came in after hours to assist us with obtaining our truck. When we thanked them for accommodating us after hours they were very empathetic about the stresses involved in moving and were happy to assist in anyway they could to alleviate some of that stress. Our only suggestion is to inform other customers that the key drop box is located behind the building. Thank you again for your help!

STEPHEN KThis location is the worst I’ve ever visited, stay away!!! I rented a 26 ft and transport which the lights didn’t work, they wanted me to drive it home and call road service at my house. Long story short I took the truck and went back to pick up the transport the following day. There was no apology or offer to compensate for extra miles and time. It’s family run and the mother is the only one that knows anything. The office looks like someone’s living room, I don’t know how U-Haul allows them to be in business. I’ve rented probably 50 trucks in my life and this by far is the worst!!!!

Julieanne PThis location was difficult to get to and the parking lot was unorganized and very dark. When I arrived and parked my truck, a man emerged from a house on location and began talking to my wife, who was there to drive our car so we could drop the truck off. The man then aggressively requested that we just give him the keys to the truck. I explained that I was going through the steps on the U-Haul app and he again aggressively asked for the keys, saying that I do NOT want to use the app, and that I would regret it if I did. I stood my ground and completed the check out on the app, all the while this man was peering out of the windows of his house at me. This was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I will never use this location again and will only use U-Haul if there are no other options available.

Gary KI was charged for 2 day rental even though I only had vehicle for 1 (10-6:30). I returned it at 6:30 pm, which shouldn't be a big deal since there is no one at this location to check you in or out, its all done through the app. Will never use this location again.

Then Ignored my phone calls when I called them. Cost me 100$ more then it should’ve. I won’t be using you again!!!!!
