Our experience with the Reno Nevada location was excellent, but our experience here in Saint George Utah has been a nightmare. First, they do not have the ability to drop off the boxes with a forklift, but that was only a small part of the problem. Second, they sent out some random guy, a non-u-haul employee to drop off our boxes on a trailer. He parked our boxes to where one of the ramps extend into a bush with rocks. He also charged us over $175 to drive it only 10 minutes away from the storage facility. When we told him about the ramp being in a bush, he said he would have to charge us extra in order to come and move it again. Overall, after this experience, I will NEVER use U-haul to move my stuff again!Bob F.

I had to drive from las vegas to st. George to get the trailer. I was told they would add an extra day to the time. The web site where I reserved the trailer said it was for 5 days. With an extra day I should have had 6. But.. I got a call on day 4 asking what time I expected to drop off trailer, as it was due in. I happen to be on the way to drop the trailer at the time buttons was frustrating I thought I wax dropping early and actually was right in time. This was the ow worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul, The store in St George on Dixie was my only lifesaver. I rented a truck in California, four days prior to moving my whole life, they tell me they can only give me 2 ten foot trucks. I was wondering what I would have to get rid of. Then I rent one down in Parma 3 hours away. I get up early on a Saturday to pick it up out of state and it is not there. I then had to drive to St George to pick up a truck to go to California, do my packing then come back to st George. They even charged me for extra mile when I would not have driven the miles if they hadn't made me chase a truck all over the southwestTERRY Q.

I had a flat tire. I called roadside assistance and they were unable to help me (estimate time 6 hours). I personally changed the tire and bought a tire in Las Vegas and mounted it. This was not the fault of the vendor on Dixie Dr. They are remarkable.GREGORY B.

We rented a 6X12 cargo trailer for 4 days to move our daughter to St George. Everything was good when we picked up the trailer; the attendant attached it to my truck's hitch and secured it. And showed me how to take it off and on as I told him I would need to do that. I wasn't warned that the trailer tongue was not equipped with a mechanism to raise and lower it when I needed to detach it from my vehicle during the 4 days it was at her condo complex. I detached it and loaded it but was not able to manually raise the tongue to re-attach it to my vehicle's hitch. Uhaul roadside assist could not help me. I spent over an hour trying to reach them and plea for their help. I had to pay a towing company $70.00 to come and assist me raising the tongue and attaching it to the vehicle. When I returned the trailer and told the attendants about the unforeseen problem we had, we were met with indifference from both attendants. I asked the attendant that disconnected the trailer why there wasn't a mechanism on the tongue to raise or lower it. He said, "you'll have to ask Uhaul." I told him it sounded like they've had similar complaints in the past and he shook his head yes and went on about his business. The lady at the counter just gave my wife her area manager's business card and made a statement similar to ... no one told you you could take it off or not take it off.... then walked off to help another customer. We are in the process of contacting the appropriate Uhaul administrators to reconcile this issue. Too improve, I'd suggest a bit more customer empathy when issues like this arise and more concern to help the customer reach a resolution; remembering that those of us who use the equipment rarely use it and are unfamiliar with some of the intricacy's. A heads up when the equipment is picked up could have allowed me to get a large block of wood to prop the tongue up enough for a easy re-attachment to the vehicle.James Y.

Very nice facility and staff and the trailer was in very good condition except that electric chord for the lights had been Jimmy rigged after being run over and drag on the ground. All the lighting checked out when I left but on my return back to Utah, professional repair was necessary in order to travel safely and legally. I was nearly run over by a semi in the dark because I had no tail lights and did not realize it. The section of wiring that was damaged was saved and shown to the U-Haul manager.Doreen C.

My issue is with the Southern Utah Scheduling Department who caused a lot of confusion and stress. I was returning my truck and trailer on Monday 9/28 and I saw on my physical contract that no specific uhaul location was selected as a drop of location; instead is said to call (877) 284-1413 which I did and spoke with the scheduling manger named Sicilia. She told me I could drop off my truck and trailer at the "Towne Storage" on 2012 E Riverside Drive St. George Utah 84790. When I arrived about 4:50pm (10 minutes before closing) I was told by an employee of Towne Storage that they don't take trailers at that location. I spoke with Sicilia again and she told me to go across town to a different location which at that time was closed. I then had to drop off the truck and trailer at the Sunbrook Secure Storage on 415 S Dixie Drive after hours. I went online to check my truck in online but the destination online was a different location. This caused me to have to spend 2hrs calling uhaul customer service to explain the situation to not get a late and wrong destination fee. Luckily Wanda with the Uhaul Customer service team took my statement and documented everything which resolved everything. Sicilia's mistake caused me added stress and wasted time. I will be very hesitant to use uhaul again.Stuart T.
Truck had check oil light on and I was told it would be ok, truck went into limp in mode twice on the trip to az. Front bumper fell off had to bungee it back on.
