Horrible first experience. This is my first and last time renting with uhal. The location I picked it up from was new and didn’t know what he was doing, he gave me the keys and said I’m good to go… 1 hour later I get a call saying that the car is reported stolen since the guy didn’t check me in. After that they charged me for insurance which they never told me I could use my own and told me to drop it off at a highschool and leave the keys under the seat and I wouldn’t be charged for anything extra, next day they are trying to charge me for gas when I never got told that I was supposed to fill it up and claimed that I left it at the wrong location when I have the text messages of them telling me to drop it off at bayside high school. Horrible customer service and horrible experience.

The lady was on her phone the whole time checking me out, only spoke to me to tell me to take pictures of my license and sign. Gave me keys and I had to ask if that’s everything and she said yes. I said I have it through the 12th she said yes. She never told me there was a time to return it in the morning causing me to have to pay $40 more. It was really disappointing.
Joshua BUnderstand better english and able to communicate helpfull instructions. Help customer with return record and unhook of equipment. It was very hard to unhook trailer from truck and move it. Very bad instructions!

EMILE D2 hour wait just to get key to my truck rental, then i was charged an extra day after i already returned truck in the same day i rented it. The location has no idea what they are doing. But the customer service reps were very helpful, hopefully they get this corrected and return my funds if 58 dollars and some change. I put in my issue today so i should know something within 3 days. Will update at the time of response
Richard RI was assigned this location to make the one-way return and was advised several times that it was a 24 hr drop off location, but it is not. There is no key drop box. Please correct this.
