This was absolutely the quickest and smoothest rental I have ever had. I was on the road within 15 minutes. Everyone there was very friendly.

At the time of drop off, I called customer service because the U-Haul app wasn't working. They gave me instructions over the phone, and that's how I made my drop off. The next day, I received calls from the location where the truck was supposed to return, and they hadn't finalized my order, and they couldn't get the notes the staff who helped me on the phone had left the day before. ALL WRONG!!!!!!

PETER MThe truck I used was very unsafe. The breaks did not work at all. We had multiple instances that the truck did not stop when the breaks were pressed. This truck should not be use by anyone until breaks are fixed.

CURTIS HRamp had collision damage and could not be opened without great difficulty. Rr door had damage related to ramp and latch needed to be forced also. I was given a small discount for this but insufficient. Not happy about this.

Michelle BI called the office from where the van was rented and advised them that the van had an infestation of German roaches, once I had reached the destination I was going to. I was transporting DJ equipment from my home to the location of the event, hoping that none of these roaches found their way into my equipment, where I may have a serious problem if they multiply.

Dean RI spoke over the phone to two U-Haul representatives, as well as the U-Haul representative where I picked up the van, and none of them mentioned to me when quoting the itemized costs of the rental mentioned the $21.00 "CDW" charge that is on the final bill. After reviewing the paperwork once the rental was complete, I noticed that charge, and while I am sure the charge is hidden in one or more of the documents I received via e-mail from U-Haul, I was extremely disappointed to find out that there was an insurance charge that was more than the actual base rental charge and that the U-Haul representatives did not include that charge in the list of charges they told me about. That's not good business practice and it make me consider using another truck rental company in the future. Also, the outside of the van looked like it had been a long time since it was last cleaned.

rob hOverall truck was clean; however, the A/C was not working and it was blowing hot air. As you can imagine it’s hot and humid in Florida. This is a must to have in any vehicle now-a-days. It was very uncomfortable experience. Also, a family member rented a U-Haul truck, same size as this one at a different location and they did not get charged $1.19 per mile like I did. I do not understand why they did not but I got clobbered $1.19 per mile (89 miles driven). I will NOT be going back there. There are other good options for rental trucks.
