My rental was due to be returned at 1:30pm. I walked into the location at 12:30pm and the girl working was mopping the floor. She asked if I would put my key in the drop box and she would check me in. I did and the vehicle was not marked as returned until 5:30 pm and I was charged for 2 days instead of one. Now I have to fight to get the charge removed.

They did not have the truck ready with the add on items I reserved. I also received several emails informing me my truck would not be available at the agreed pickup time. Since I was flying in to load and drive this truck, I had no way to drive around Ft Lauderdale to find an alternate truck. Very stressful and in the end unnecessary.

BRIAN MI had 2 major issues: 1) The original location (Us Pak N Ship, 4839 SW 148th Ave, Davie, FL 33330) where I made my reservation for pickup was closed when I arrived despite the published hours showed it was supposed to be open. 2) The UHaul app was also not working. When I clicked to open for support it was just blank, even after closing and reopening, and restarting my phone. I called other U Haul locations nearby but none had the 15' truck available. I called UHaul customer support and received great assistance from Linda - she was excellent and updated my reservation for an available 15' truck at the Coper City location. This truck was in good condition and had no issues.
KENNETH LMy truck was towed, and the office is charging me an exorbitant amount, even though the towing company charges a much lower fee.
