The interaction seemed unprofessional and I felt like I was an inconvenience to the Uhaul representative. I could not upload a photo on the website prior to arriving and it took about an hour to remediate at the (hotel) facility.When asked about the dolly I requested and paid for, I was told that they didn't have one. I ended up purchasing a dolly at a store to assist with my move. I will not recommend using services provided by Uhaul.
NATHAN KU-Haul its self was dirty had to ask for it to be cleaned, the ramp was so muded and stuck injury accrued just trying to pull ramp out
Malinda BStaff had never checked out equipment before. Process took 30 minutes and was not complete when told to leave. Found out hours later that wrong truck was provided. Staff had no knowledge of appliance dolly nor any available despite corporate guarantee after reservation in worthington mn was not fulfilled and had to travel more than 30 miles away to new pickup destination despite reservation being made weeks in advance.

Angie JSign in was terribly slow. Had to ask person in charge 3 times before verifying the size truck we had registered for. She was training another gal so it took forever. Don’t train your employees on the customers time. This happened at Luverne location. We originally registered at Pipestone Mn location and He gets 5 stars from us!
WARREN SI didn't ask for the insurance and I wasn't asked if I wanted it but I was charged for it. I didn't find this out until I drove for almost an hour to the nearest place to pick up the trailer and I looked at the contract. I noticed that there was an extra charge of $40 for it and then when I asked if they could take it off because my insurance covered it, I was told she didn't know how and that I had to call U-Haul. As luck would have it I didn't have my phone with me and had no way of calling anyone. I would think that if you're going to rent out someone else's equipment that you would be familiar with their documentation and be able to answer questions and change information if it's incorrect. She told me that she didn't mess with any of the forms and wouldn't change anything that was already entered on the contract. If this is how U-Haul conducts their business, you can bet. I'll be sure to never be in a bind where I need your services again.
Kelly RPoor cell service made online return absurdly long. There was no dropbox for the key, and the business did not have an attendant at the front desk.
KENNY HWish vehicle would have had a cruise control. Drove nearly 1,600 miles - makes for a more difficult trip. About half way thru trip (two of us drove non stop) the fan started to "squeal" so we could not turn it up to keep temperature where we wanted it. When unit was off for awhile the squeal went off but would come back on after driving for awhile.

Rnita RThis location was fine. The issue with my experience was in storage units. I reserved a unit the same day I reserved the truck. When I arrived at Sioux Falls where my unit was supposed to be the kiosk was down. I called the number, only to be told in a disrespectful manner that my unit was gone. They did not have one for me even though it was reserved. Then the attendant said "you can have my bosses number but he's gonna tell you the same thing". I then spent 45 minutes on hold only to be disconnected after getting to a customer service representative. No call back, no attempt to contact me. Then the website crashed 5 separate times on return due to "low storage" via uhaul's website. I will not be using U-Haul in the future, and will tell all of my coworkers (who move every 3-4 years like clockwork) of my horrible experience.
Henry GWorst customer service and business, will never do business with these people again. Had to drive out into a unplowed field to get trailer. Had to dig it out of the snow and it was frozen to the ground. No one would help and customer service is a joke! Chain was broke! We had to buy replacement parts for it!
Sarah SProvide detailed instructions prior to drop off so we know ahead of time what to expect. It could be in the form of an email, perhaps. All the customer service guy told me is, make sure you get a receipt or you could get double charged. Well, the Super 8 doesn't give receipts . The customer service people need better knowledge and training so they can be more helpful.
