There was an empty trash bag in the back of the truck when we opened it. We also chose an appointment at 10:30 thinking that there would be an attendant or office, but it was never communicated that the service is now self serve and extremely difficult for an older person.

We booked for 10:30 Am and got the unit at 12:30 Pm no one was there to give the unit, they kept on misguiding on the phone. We have to book other u-haul and then they called back and had to cancel the early booking. We had to bear a financial loss because of the delay.

Absolutely terrible experience. I booked a truck rental online at a location that suited me. Later that day, I got a call saying the truck I reserved wasn’t available, and they redirected me to another location, claiming it was only 1.5 km away and everything would be the same. Turns out, I had to walk there because no transportation was available. I specifically needed the truck at 10:00 AM due to personal circumstances, but the new location only opened at 10:30 AM. To avoid further issues, I arranged a self-pickup. On the rental day, I found the truck, but they forgot to place the supplies inside. I called, and they assured me I’d get a refund. That refund never came—in the app, the supplies were marked as “ready for pickup,” which made no sense. I inspected the truck, and everything seemed fine—until it started raining. When I turned on the wipers, the left one didn’t work at all. This caused the right wiper to hit the broken one and completely fall off. I had to fix it myself, in the rain, while already running late for my move. I returned the truck in the evening without any further issues. During the return process, the app instructed me to place the key in a metal drop box labeled “U-Haul,” which I did. I later received my final bill, and I assumed everything was fine since the truck had been checked in. But two days later, I got a call from (289) 625-7302. The person didn’t introduce himself and spoke to me so rudely that I was in complete shock. When I asked if the call was recorded and requested to speak with someone else, he claimed he was the “head manager” and that I could only talk to him. The issue? They lost the key and blamed me for it. He insulted me, calling me the dumbest customer he’s ever had because I put the key in the drop box. The same drop box the app told me to use! When I pointed this out, he kept insisting I should have somehow known it was the wrong box. How? Through telepathy? If I understood correctly, they had already accepted and checked in the truck, meaning no one even realized the key was missing until they tried renting it out again. Instead of simply asking where I put it, this so-called manager immediately resorted to screaming and blaming me for their incompetence. The key was exactly where I left it—where their own app told me to leave it. Nothing changed. Instead of handling the situation professionally, this mentally unstable individual chose to harass and threaten me, saying he would make sure I could never rent a truck from them again and that I’d be fined for a "lost" key. This was one of the most unprofessional and disturbing interactions I’ve ever had. I strongly urge this company to review the call recording and conduct an internal investigation. If this person is truly a manager, that’s terrifying—he should not be working in customer service. He needs serious professional help.

First of all, there is no name outside building with a name "Supreme Talent IQ". Secondly, I tried to call that particular location many times, but no one attends the phone, always on message recording. I called to general helpline to inform that I will be late for pickup and will be there at 1:00 PM. They said ok. But no one was there in Unit 2, when I reached that location. Unit 2 doesn't have Uhaul representative or office. Again I contacted general Uhaul help line and they themselve contacted the concerned person and transfer my line later to the representative for that location, who guided me on phone to pickup the key from a letter box of unit 3. Final nightmare, I ordered the appliance dolly and furniture/ packing pads, but both these items were missing and I suffered a lot due to missing items. U Haul should inform me earlier before truck pickup that they are unable to provide these items. At time of pick up truck, fuel level was 19 mi to E. When I returned, fuel level was 34 mi to E. But still U Haul charged me additional charges in this regard. It was not a pleasant experience, especially at Supreme Talent IQ.

First time user on the mobile app did work had to make multiple calls to get the truck info. Truck had a flat tire the weather conditions were terrible fill the tire myself.

I already posted one review, but also forgot to mention that we have not received a copy of the final bill. We did see the totals in the UHaul app (which now I cannot seem to find again in the app), but we are expecting a final bill, based on mileage etc charges.

I pre-ordered dollies and furniture pads that I was counting on for moving. Nothing was provided. When speaking to a representative at this location, I was told they don’t ever supply these. I don’t know why I was able to select these supplies online when they weren’t going to be provided. I was relying on dollies and furniture pads to coordinate my move. Some of my furniture was scratched and damaged as a result of not having the furniture pads. I had a freight elevator reserved at my condo so I didn’t have time to make other arrangements. Really awful experience and service. Calling Uhaul to remove these from the reservation so I am not billed for it was also a brutal task. I was on hold for 30 minutes and bounced around between Reservations and Customer Service. I finally got through to someone that left a note on the file to not charge me for this - but I still don’t trust that I won’t be. I recommend not offering extra moving supplies if your locations are not able to deliver on them. This was a major problem for me and my moving day.

1) the mileage to start was not correct, When i fixed it it said you cannot correct. then when we take pictures from your app the mileage was moving so you cannot see accurate milage, i went 156 km and came back 156 m with 20 km inside Mississauga. Why are we doing miles when in canada. When i came back it was showing the starting mileage more than the return so i fudged it I Paid $550 which is too much for a 2 day rental and $165 in gas. $700 fro 2 days is absolutely too much The vehicle was very noisy. I would have paid on similar truck new one from Enterprise rent a van at $90 per day and gas would have been $100 only. Absolutely cannot take picture of mileage from your app. why cant we upload our own pictures.

when I filled fuel up after driving 17 miles, it required 19.33 liters. I dont think the fuel was topped off by previous user, even though it showed full. If it was then there is a serious issue with the engine.

The floor mat in the cargo area is not hard enough, and when loading a heavy box with wheels, it presses the mat, and the wheels are between the body channel beams and making it hard to move the loads in the cargo area, so it would be better to use hard flooring in The cargo area.

There's no office, no signage, no instructions at location. Had to ring doorbell of business unit who happened to know the manager of location (probably because it happens often). Parking lot signage with instructions or even a phone number would be very useful.

Location was changed at last moment and nobody informed that the new location is operated virtually and what should be the process to follow. Dolly was reserved and confirmed before but denied comfortably at last moment. Why would someone rent a uhaul if it’s not for movement and then how can you be so comfortable saying no for a dolly at last moment? Representative I talked to for this location was deeply unprofessional and used rough language and was careless about customer needs. Overall not trustworthy. Avoid this location to avoid last minute hassle before your movement.

The gas gauge image shown in the contract wasn't accurate. It showed 7/8 full, but van actually had less. I didn't read the contract until it was time to put in gas, I had taken a photo of the gas gauge when I got vehicle so knew actual reading. But felt compelled to put in enough gas to get close to the diagram shown or feared I would be billed for it.

I was given no information about the afyer hours pickup box. I just got lucky found it and phoned for help to get the truck. I returned the truck 2 days early and got no discount on the rental. Not happy with that. You need truck tires on the vehicle. Has no traction in snow. Hard driving. Its an accident waiting to happen. One day someone is going to get hurt. I disagree on the fuel level when i returned the truck. Take another look at the photos. Thx Gary

Will never rent from Uhaul again. Change my reservation and location to a smaller truck 1 hour away. Pickup location was abandoned during listed hours of operation and had to wait in the rain more than 20 minutes to reach someone by phone to help. Truck smelled of old cigarettes. Also charged me more than quoted for a smaller truck. I should have gotten a credit not pay more for a smaller truck and the inconvenience of driving across town to pick it up

It’s a cargo van so it’s not expected to be sparkling clean, but it was a lot dirtier than it should have been. The mobile check-in was very convenient. The only issue is the picture of the lock box with the key was inaccurate and made it hard to find. The roof was badly damaged and the pictures shown to me did not match. Everything else was good. I would rent from here again. I had made a reservation at a different location at first and after checking in, I had to get a key from inside the office, but it was closed. I then noticed the van had a flat tire. I called in and after waiting 15 minutes on hold I was given the reservation at this location. It was close by and all was good after that. Thank you!

It was very bad experience with the management of returns. I had to return my truck to Mississauga, Ontario and take a ride back to my home in Montreal, QC. There was not one at the drop off location to assist or there was no clear instructions at the location or on the application. My email address was put wrong on the contract and I had some French language contract print outs. I had nothing to do than call customer service. This look me more than 2 hours and missed my ride back to home which was very important and it cost me for a loss of more than $300. I am really upset with this incident and mismanagement of U-Haul.
