I made my reservation in Newmarket and got redirected to this location. Asked about returning to Newmarket and was told it was a small amount and to call U Haul. Returned to Newmarket and was then told an extra $110 to drop off there or return to Markham 1 hr away. I paid but it left a bad taste in my mouth about using U Haul again

When I needed to switch the size of truck last minute, they were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this location and will use their service again in the future.
CRISTINE JImprove the App. It was the only sub par item of this rental. When returning the vehicle, the app stopped working at the mechanical condition page. I had uploaded the requisite image of the mileage and fuel level and returned the key to the drop box. This made it impossible to restart the return process. The manager at the facility made it all good the next day.
JOSEPH SThe uhaul office was located inside another company. Nobody was there from uhaul and I was told to just leave the trailer in the parking lot unattended and not locked. No one closed off my contract and I was quite afraid to leave the trailer in a public parking lot for fear It would be stolen and I would be charged for it. I took a picture of the trailer in the parking lot with one of the staff from the other company to prove that I had left it. I finally had to call the main uhaul number and have them contact the location to close off my Contract before I got charged another day unnecessarily.

RUBAN VUnfortunately, the trailer had just come in that day and was very muddy on the outside. I took pictures at pick up so that I was not blamed for its condition on return.
RICHARD JHi, I would like to bring up the following issues I had in this experience... 1.Before I returned the truck, i filled it up the tank, however the indicator of the tank didn't show correct level. At the end, I filled up at least 5 liters more. I would like to have a refund for the extra gas. 2. when I picked up the truck, driver side windshield was covered by thick ice. I had to spend time and remove the ice. 3. I didn't select to pick up by using App. The location didn't have anyone to assist, so i had to call and spend longer time than expected to follow instructions via the phone and website to complete the process, and eventually I got the key. 4. The lockbox (#1) doesn't work properly. After I put the key back to the lockbox, No matter how I changed the combination, turned rotary switch, the lockbox can still be opened. Can anyone please reply my comments once reviewed? Thanks!
James SHarrison was very professional and helpful.. Especially he took time explaining and helped me for the link fill up for person that not tech oriented… His very fair from the start not all business of taking advantage people.. I would recommend him and used the service for the future..
LUNIE DI had an issue with the UHaul procedure. Having to take pictures of the vehicle in minus 15 weather and upload them to your website was ridiculous and unneccessary. They check the vehicle I check the vehicle, that's it.

YAT Wthe location was fine, but i am not at all happy that i had to pay to return the vehicle back to markham from london, i always thought uhaul used multiple drop points, i could have paid to use an actual moving service for what that cost me, next time i will instead of uhaul

Donald YYes improvements are definitely necessary. I made a reservation for a 20 foot truck and the U-Haul app allowed me to make this reservation at this location for a 20 foot truck. The owner of this location was able to contact me and resolve my issues and offer me a 26 foot truck as he does not have any 20 foot trucks at all! this is clearly a programming issue on U-Haul‘s end for allowing me to make such reservation. If it wasn’t for the initiative of the owner at this location, I would have been rudely informed arriving on site.
JUSTIN HI made a reservation for a 10 foot van on August the 12t, for pickup on Friday August the 30th. In Markham Ontario, just a few kms away from my home. I was moving my daughter to the University of Guelph. I had booked a 1 way van, as I did not want to have to drive the empty van back to Toronto. all seemed good until August 26th, when I was notified that my booked 1 way van had been cancelled and now i had to pick up a 15 foot van from Pickering and then drop off the same van back in Pickering, which is approximately 18kms East of where I was going. i called back on Tuesday and was on hold for over 40 mins and spoke with 2 different people. the last person helped me in securing a 15 foot van from 190 Bollock Drive, Markham Ontario, which was OK, because its close to my home. i picked up the van on friday the 30th of August. i spoke with the gentleman behind the counter, and told him of my frustration. and i emphasized that i was going 1 way from Toronto to Guelph. he asked me, where was i going to drop it off at. I said i dont know, but the closest UHAUL station to Guelph University. he ended up not putting down a drop off destination, but said that once i get the address, i was to call UHAUL and update my reservation. i didnt end up, contacting UHAUL, as a rep sent me an address to return the van to. i said thanks, thinking it was the gentleman that made my reservation with. it was not. the next day, we finished moving my daughter into Guelph university and tried to bring the van back, when i entered the address that i was sent, i found out that it was a return address in Toronto, not Guelph. i made another call, spoke with an agent , and said that the 1 way rental, was to return in Toronto not Guelph. we argued for awhile and we finally agreed for me to drive the van back to Toronto, where he said that I would not be charged any kms nor would I be charged any gas fees, as I would be returning the van with 1/8 of a tank, ( i have the text message saying this ).. when I dropped off the van in Toronto, i spoke with the gentleman's brother and told him and showed him the text message from his brother, saying that there would be NO charge for the KMS and no charge for the gas. i left the uhaul area. i then checked my visa statement a few hours later and noticed a charge for $34.06.. I had to reach out to the uhaul rep and let him know about the charge. soooo all in all, I had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, while renting a van, I have little trust in EVER BOOKING WITH UHAUL AGAIN!!!! I have booked MANY TIMES in the past, with uhaul but after this, I am going to RETHINK MY NEXT CHOICE of where i rent my vehicle from....

The owner was a stand up guy, processed the drop off in a timely manner and he even helped unhook the trailer. TT AutoBeauty provided CLASS A service, the type of service I expect from a National rental company such as U Haul.

Carmine FTruck share app has glitches and delays the time for approval, my rental was for 9 am and didn’t get truck until 10 am. A times the app keeps going back to previous screens when I am doing the right process, upon returning truck I did payment process but upon taking photo of truck condition, the app kept on restarting taking pictures process. I called in and was told to take photos and respond to person email which I did. I am still awaiting that response to my email that they received the pictures. Apart from the delay and lack of proper communication. I still think this is a fairly great system and great full I was able to rent truck to do my move

Samuel JIt would help to put stickers on certain areas that are required for return inspection purposes. It took me quite some time to figure out which area needed to take pictures for review. Have a numbered label with an arrow indicating which way the camera is pointing.
