We originally booked at the Brookdale Ave facility 3 weeks ago and were notified 2 days before pick up that they did not have a truck for us because it would not be back on time. Our booking was for 9 am pick up in Cornwall and drop off in Orleans. Brookdale booked us 10 am pick up at Montreal road and drop off at Montreal road . When we went to pick up we were told we had to return it back to Cornwall and that we were not allowed to leave the city. The gentleman called his boss and gave us permission to leave the city. That being said it cost us more to keep it and my wife had to follow me back in her car in the dark ( she can’t drive at night) to get the truck back. The plan was to drop off in Orléans so that when we were done it would cost less and I would drive the car back. It was a rush rush day. The service in Montreal road was phenomenal! 5 star rating. Brookdale was at fault and should have made sure that the booking was correct before passing us off! We have used U-Haul several times in the past and have never experienced any hassles like this.

I'm not sure what the problem was but it took 40 minutes to drop off the truck. At first I had to wait for the agent to return to work and then he didn't seem to know what he was doing. Had to call his boss for help and that took 25 minutes

Krish did a fabulous job throughout my U-Haul experience. He reserved the trucks when no other location had any due to peak times.

I reserved a truck from this location weeks in advance, and when I came to pick it up, they had given it away to someone else. So the day I had to move I didn’t have a truck. They didn’t offer a solution except that they couldn’t do anything and I needed to go to another location to get help. They also didn’t take down the information properly of the person who they gave my truck too, and they gave my contact information down. So when they tried to call the person to get the truck back, they were calling me. It was an extremely awful experience, and added so much stress to the day. Would not recommend this to anyone.

I feel cheated yesterday he didn't make things clear to me. He said it will be calculated by mileage but that was not true. I asked him to at least let me know the amount for 1 hour and he told me not to worry. I used the car for one hour came back and he charged me 86 cad. Which I feel he just declined me the know of knowing before I moved the car.

First the pick up location - the gentleman enter the wrong information and I was charges $ 360+ dollars for day rental it was suppose to be $ $164 plus any gaz I used He kept entereing the moving address as Quebec City instead of Laval quebec , not sure if this is why i was charged so much the drop off location also entered the wrong information and I was charged anout $ 85 dollard for gaz consumption when I filled it up before I brought it back On Monday I will call head off to get this corrected but overall the expirience was Unsatifactory Elizabeth de Vries

Disorganized customer service. Parking area for uhauls away from store and is difficult to access with big 26’ truck

I reserved it over the phone and I Only reserved it for the day and was charged for 2 days Plus the insurance I don’t not want....SHOULD NOT have been charged 2 days when it was a same day drop off. Didn’t know this until I returned it and was told I was early!
