Really just did not appreciate how my pickup location was changed, and I wasnt notified via my preferred communication. Loading my rental approval took almost 20 minutes and customer service chat was unresponsive. It took us 30+ minutes just to be able to drive off with the uhaul. This experience makes me hesitant to want to use uhaul for a next move.Victoria B.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. I tried to do it different and do electronic which was a mistake on my part. I ended up spending 40 minutes in the middle of nowhere on a Saturday morning because I entered the information into the website via my smartphone, but it took about 20-25 minutes for someone to review it-AFTER I called and waited on hold for almost 10 minutes. The person who approved it asked me additional questions but no one ever asked me for the beginning mileage-so when I went to turn I back in, the ending mileage resulted in 1574 miles being used, which is impossible since I only had the truck for 7 hours. This resulted in another phone call to customer service and another wait in the middle of nowhere by myself for 20-30 minutes while she walked me through filing a dispute for the mileage. Also, I requested an appliance dolly and it was not on the truck. They did a good job of trying to find me another one, but I was still charged for it, when I was told I would not be. If I had to give advice to anyone about using your phone to get a truck, go with someone if you are unsure about the area of the truck, because you may have to wait a while. Overall, I had no issue with the customer service I received from the employees-they were wonderful. It was the logistics of renting over the phone and having to call them-in the first place-that was an inconvenience. I still love Uhaul and will continue to use them, but I'll rent at the counter from now on. ThanksMelanie E.

THE ORIGINAL DROP OFF WAS A UHAUL IN CASHIERS NC. THE DAY I PICKED UP THE TRAILER I GOT A CALL FROM THE OWNER OF THE CASHIERS LOCATION SAYING THAT I COULD NOT DROP OFF THE TRAILER THERE.. THE ALTERNATE LOCATION WAS 25 MILES AWAY AND VERY INCONVENIENT.Vincent A.

I received a 20 ft truck in Vestavia but got they did have the I had drive 35niles in Westover,AL. On top of that the windshield whippers where broken . It ran after I got Calera All. This put this a dangerous situation . Better assess your vehicles before you rent a truck to any. I disappointed customer!Drusilla H.

Unfortunately this was the FOURTH location I tried to drop off at. The other 3 were closed even though their signs and websites said they were supposed to be open. In general I hate UHAUL I should have found somewhere else to rent from.James B.

I don't think that I should have been charged 12.00 for a gallon of gas. And I don't think that 162 miles were appropriate for the distance so therefore I had to pay extra for mileage also. So I ended up spending over 200 for a one way rental. I don't think that I will recommend U haul to no oneabigail B.

Make sure your staff that rents gives out correct information. We were given faulty information and charged another $108, $40 of which was for another day and we did not have it another day. Was trying to check it on on phone and app would not submit my location and then it was late i guess. Truck was great and clean. Served its purpose. Was told if it was on lot at return location by time it opened for business the next day, it would be fine. Untrue.Chad S.
