If you return the equipment 3 days early you should get some kind of credit. Also they didn’t have a two wheel dolly like I needed when I rented the trailer. The trailer was missing the extension cable to plug into my truck. I had to go buy my own.

First off.. this was not the contracted pick up place which, I hear, is common with U-haul.. to have to drive out of the way to pick up the equipment. The people at the pickup place were nice enough but the windshields were filthy and the front tires on the truck were about a hair away from the wear bar and not aired up evenly. We found this out when we flatted because we picked up a 5/8"nail that wouldn't have pierced through a decent tire. The tire was patched by the U-haul service contractor and we were sent on our way. Later we hit some heavy rain and were very concerned about hydroplaning. I don't know who decides when tires are replaced so that may not be on them but on corporate.

The online pickup process didnt go smoothly at all. It took almost an hour to complete the process despite the fact that I had brought all materials U-Haul told me to bring (ID, passport, license, etc). The agent who verified my information was rude and unhelpful and it was unclear what kind of picture of myself was necessary. Instructions provided by the site and by the agent were not clear. It was very frustrating.

I called the location a number of times during normal business hours to confirm that I could drop off my rental 24/7 using the app and no one ever answered the phone. Since my rental was due to be returned by 8:00 am, I went to return it the evening beforehand, right at close of business. Unfortunately, the staff had just left and the location was undergoing maintenance so the lot was inaccessible and (and I was told by maintenance staff that it would be inaccessible for the next 24 hours) but there were no instructions for where to return vehicles in the meantime. Ultimately, in walking around the perimeter of the building I found a secondary lot where the facility's trucks had been relocated and returned my truck there. But all in all was not a positive or prompt experience. If the facility was going to be unavailable for returns, I should have been notified and given an alternate location to return the truck.

Actually have your truck readily available and maintained for the customer at the pick up time. I already filed a complaint which I will follow up with in a day, but my service here was so horrible along with what actually happened I will never use U-Haul again. I’m done being your customer. Your policies for late arrivals messing up people who made reservations is atrocious.

My vehicle was not ready for pre-office hour pickup as I had reserved it. Fortunately staff came into work early and helped me to get on my way quickly. The staff was very helpful.

One of the points of uhaul is one way trips. This location told me I could not do a one way trips upon pickup of the truck, so I had to pay for extra miles on a return trip.

Great service. Clean truck. What more can someone without his or her own moving van ask for? Massaging seats I suppose, but I ain't the Queen of England so I'm happy.

Service was very slow. Tried to overcharge me for gas. I only drove the truck 15 miles - put in 2 gallons of gas & they still said I owed like $15 for fuel.

We live in Cortland where there is a U-Haul location, but we had to drive to Ithaca to get the truck. this took extra time that we needed for loading.

Taylor Rental is a welcoming place, efficient and works with the customer. A stark contrast to the U-Haul outlet down Elmira Rd, in Ithaca, where they gave away our booking and were extremely rude to us. Taylor Rental went out of their way to save the day!

The truck was leaking, I was told I can bring the truck back and get a different one but it had to be back by 2PM that day. Just make sure I don't put anything where it can get wet? The engine sounded horrible and it didn't seem to want to run properly

Did not find out that the equipment was not well maintained until I was using it. I rented a 4X8 trailer that ended up leaking while I was driving and I called back to this location for help and all they said was I had to call the roadside number. No sorry this is happening, no sympathy for the fact that my antiques were getting wet in a trailer that should be keeping them dry. Roadside said I could call their insurance company and make a claim as I was not willing to pull over and wait for them to bring me another trailer. Nice attitudes as it was not their stuff however, it would be different if it was theirs. This was not my preferred location.

Daughter had to pick it up ( just by luck she went back to Ithaca a day earlier to pack, otherwise never could have gotten there in time). Pick-up time got changed by Uhaul a few days before via a voice message... Bad time to start scrambling ... No Uhaul truck meant no move. Also , was going to be Elmira... More bad news.

The ladies here are very competent, helpful, and cool under "pressure." The pressure derives from your (U'Haul's) TERRIBLE computer reservation system which seems to always be down. The last two times that I reserved trailers the staff was struggling with the reservation system/software. Time to get your act together.

The customer service lady at the desk was awful. My original reservation was moved to another location a lot further away. Couldn't get her to understand I would take a different trailer at their location and she couldn't tell me what they had. She was very rude and impatient with trying to accommodate me when all I wanted to do was rent a trailer.

The folks at Taylor’s were awesome! I had called a different location in Ithaca prior to contacting this one- the other was not at all helpful but Taylor’s was- she didn’t have what o wanted but found another trailer that worked and was able to help me get the best rate. They helped change the ball out and hook up the trailer and troubleshot the lighting- I would recommend them to anyone!!!

We requested to pick up at a location on Elmira, close to our house. This location was unexpected (we noticed that our pick up location had been changed only when we were in the car and on our way) and inconvenient to get to from where we live.

This is not a full U-Haul location - so limited packing supplies and limited help offered initially to help me get my car on the car trailer. If all you are doing is picking up a truck with no special needs, this place is great. If you need supplies & other help, best to go to a dedicated U-Haul location.

The 15ft. truck was leaking water into the Grandmothers Attic space due to the rain on the passengers side. It didn't allow us to utilize that space. :-(

I was told that the gas tank was filled, however, I had to put 6 gallons of gas in for only going 23 miles. Just seems a bit high. So that was an unexpected cost.

When calling to confirm three days before the rental, I was told they did not have my reservation and that if I didn’t hear anything the next day to call back. I called the next day as nobody called me. I was on hold for 13 minutes before I hung up. I then called back an hour later and someone finally confirmed my reservation.

Other than when I asked if I should return the U-Haul there or at the place in Cortland/Virgil and he says it doesn't matter, but it did matter. The rest from that end was ok. The truck was ready and clean. The moving help was an hour late and lazy, no compensation or discount for being so late. D&C movers said I'd have to contact U-Haul for that, I got no response from U-Haul at all on that. I wouldn't recommend D&C movers. The drop off was a mess. Went to the original online place in Virgil. Not the best place I've seen, the guy couldn't find my information and apparently it DID matter where I dropped it off. They were going to charge me another $300 and I only went 15 miles total from pick up to drop off. We'll see what happens with final charges, I didn't get anything from the place I dropped it off because he couldn't process it. Not my best U-Haul experience at all.
