The truck was supposed to be in El Dorado, AR. Had to drive 40 mins. to another location where we were told we couldn't have the truck. Was then sent to another location 10 miles away. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!Monica G.

The person we dealt with was friendly but had a great deal of trouble with the computer system and finally had to call U-Haul to complete the transaction. Visible damage on the exterior of the truck was not marked and there was virtually no instruction re: operation of the truck. The business is also difficult to find. I would recommend to a friend that they go somewhere else to rent a truck. As for the truck itself, it did just fine. It would help to have a sticker somewhere that gave the fuel capacity so if you were to turn in the truck with 3/4 tank of fuel you could calculate how much fuel you needed to pump to get it to the required levelMary S. The location/store was fine. The fact that I set up a reservation for worn Arkansas the day before and had to drive to Canden and back is approximately 46 miles is ridiculous! I was credited extra mileage: that still does not take care of the extra gas I had to spend for the U-Haul and my personal car, which I had to buy/pay for.THOMAS R.

I made my resurvations online and I was supposed to pick-up my truck in North little rock but rather than set it up for the place in north littlerock they set it up in Jasksoville Arkansas 30 miles away. The 65th street location took care of it but i was a little upset when thing weren't set up the way it was sopposed to be. I really do appreceiate the people at the 65th street location.Robert D M.

over all experience was poor. the trailer that I wanted was not at the first location I had to go to another location and take a smaller trailer that was not large enough for my load. very poor experienceJOE P.

When I scheduled the reservation I was reserved a 17' truck in Smackover, AR (I lived in El Dorado, AR). I received a call that the pick up location was in Pine Bluff, AR (2 hours away). It was changed again to Camden, AR (an hour away). When I picked the truck up the total amount I had to pay was $180 MORE than quoted. The man renting me the truck had to call my mom to verify I was who I said I was even though I gave him my valid drivers license and major credit card. I was charged $97 in tax! I was quoted, from Uhaul an amount but that was not honored! The total "check out" time took 30+ minutes. When I asked to pick the truck up at 5pm because of the extra distance I needed to travel to get it, I was told I HAD to pick the truck up no later than 4pm because he didn't want to pay his workers overtime and they leave at 5pm. My husband and I have rented 16 Uhaul trucks over the last 10 years and this was a HORRIBLE experience.PATRICIA W.
Dennis Tedder & his crew was Excellent. They set me up with a Car Dolly & helped me every step of the way.I was able to drive the 90 miles recover my daughters wrecked car & get it home. The rental was just a little more than the cost of 1 day storage fee that the wrecker service charged. The only problem was that my old worn credit card would not read when it was swiped ,If the website could provide a way to manually enter the number it would help,I was forced to use my Debit card.RICHARD T.

The truck that I picked up had a light on in the dash. Called customer service and they said it was the oil change light. Checked oil levels and it was about a gallon low. Added 3 quarts and light went off. Other than that it was a fine truck and a great experience. ThanksROBERT C.

Two things-- One your telephone system to find where to return the truck is AWFUL--It's hard to believe that my call is "important" to you when I am on hold for more than a half an hour. The only thing bad about Tedder is that they are way way way off the road and could use better signage to let you know you're on the right pathMARK C.
