Equipment was reasonably clean, staff tried to charge me for not sweeping out the truck. (We moved a couple mattresses) Also tried to say I returned the truck lower than half a tank despite filling the tank in front of their store. WILL NOT BE BACK

The vehicle I was given was dirty both inside and outside. The inside had not been vacuumed or cleaned. The driver's door didn't close properly and had to use force to close it. The vehicle needs serious maintenance. It lacked power when taking off and merging into traffic. The steering was loose and awful. The vehicle wondered all over the road. This vehicle should be taken off the road and proper maintenance done before being out back on the road.

I have never been asked to come behind the counter of a store to enter my credit card number including my CVC. This information was all provided online. As for the vehicle itself, it has certainly not been cleaned for some time. There were broken glass pieces in the cargo area, the cab was filthy. That being said, the staff were very nice. They really need their U-Haul terminal gadget fixed. So customers do not have to go behind the counter to enter their info.

The truck needed service when I got in it said “service stabilizer link” along with the actual back of the truck was still dirty from the last use causing my stuff to get dirty. Other than that I’d rate 8/10

The truck didn’t have proper tired. The truck kept sliding and got stuck in the snow 3 times!!!! My neighbor had to pull me out because I was stuck!!! The tires on the truck kept spinning, it was definitely not good!! I told the worker and he just said “have you looked outside, there is snow, that can happen”. I was scared of driving this because it was slipping and was hard to move it on the traffic light. And to add to all, I pumped gas in it and they told me I didn’t. The gas window is not working properly and the gas line kept going up and down. If the truck would stay on a little longer it would show higher which doesn’t make sense. When I tried to explain to the worker all they said is that I will be charged 26$ for not filling it up. When it says on the paper 30$ for less than 1/4. I paid for a service and it was not provided properly. No winter tires on a truck is very dangerous in the province we live in.

It was a little confusing having miles vs kilometers on the paper work. All the online advertising mentions a cost per kilometer. Change that and and you'll rate a 5 star

Arrived to U-Haul less than 1/4 full. Fully covered in snow with a broken wiper, vehicle wedged between a donation bin and another U-Haul vehicle. Was assured it was cleaned out so after making multiple attempts to get around the other vehicle I was able to squeeze by and drove to my residence to start loading up. Opened up U-Haul loading door and there was multiple junk items left inside. Dirty box spring, blankets plastic piles and tape. A poker chip set. Then I wasted some of my paid miles returning to the U-Haul location to have the employee empty out the U-Haul properly. After that everything was good.

Though my truck ended up being ready, the process was extremely unorganized and the customer ahead of me did not receive their truck. Unfortunately and absolutely no fault of the guy working, there didn’t seem to be enough training on how the process works and his hands were basically tied on the situation.

Terrible experience. Truck was downsized at the last minute and pickup time pushed back last minute. When I arrived for pickup I did not end up receiving the truck until nearly an hour later due to the people not knowing what to do to give me it? All this while my return time stayed the same. The truck was dirty on the inside and was completely empty on gas. Made for a way overly stressful day. First and last time using U-Haul services.

I was disappointed that I could not pick up the vehicle I rented in the city I live in. I had to go to a different city to pick it up. The vehicle itself was in quite awful condition. The top edge of the windshield was taped down with some kind of duck tape. Other parts of the vehicle were flimsy and the overall effect was unnerving and made for a very noisy ride. The vehicle parked beside this one at the pick up location looked immaculate but I was given this beat up one. The service at the pick up location was helpful and efficient and everything was ready to go at pick up time.

Too busy dealing with other customers in the gas station waited 10 minutes in line when returning it just to wait another 10 mintites for them to get final bill store is too busy to be a uhaul location that’s my opinion

When a customer makes a reservation that customer should be informed before arriving at the pickup location that the last family has not returned the truck I reserved is not back yet. However, after our initial shock, U-Haul customer service did an outstanding job to ensure our moving day worked out. Top marks for the U-Haul team that made our experience as good as it was

It’s a shame about your area manager Simon fuck face Zandergen . This guy is a real piece of shit and would love to have meet him face to face . The accusations he was thrown at me absolutely disgusting and to be honest I don’t even know how he works for a multimillion organization. Me personally coming from a background in sales for many years practicing customer service and been able to show my face to my customers every day I have to say this guy would sell he’s own mother to down the river . What a piece of shit . I hope this review goes public also just to be clear . Fuck you Simon fuck face .

I ordered one way and system didn’t pass as how i ordered , from leduc to 50 str in Edmotnon return , I bill was 280 I can not blame anyone than software , what ever I had all promise from customer service and from owner in leduc will be fixed , Was not fixed and my master card was charged

Yes I would recommend, but they need to make sure that the equipment is functioning properly. All the marker lights wasn’t working, both tail lights were out, from the time picked the truck & returned it…

Was told this location “can’t do trailers” and when I asked where to bring the trailer was told they didn’t know and I would have to figure that out.

No qualified personnel available at time of drop off to complete process, told manager would be in a few hours later after dropping off truck. Tried to charge me $120 for extra mileage, which was in-correct as I was within the prescribed allowance, so I refused to sign, which of course required the non-existent manager to correct. I filled up the truck at the drop-off location to same fuel level I picked it up at, yet the drop-off location charged for 9L of fuel, for a $17 charge, of which I was not present nor informed of to dispute. I realize that is a small charge, but it is the principal of the matter. I feel the Husky in Leduc is not an honest / reputable business; the other location in Leduc (Supreme Paint) is far superior!

This location is a gas bar/ convenience store staffed by people of possibly South Asian heritage. I interacted with 3 people in total, none had sufficient command of English to answer questions, give effective instructions or communicate clearly, plus the truck was dirty inside the back cargo box, the mechanicals were also very poor, I suspect serious front suspension work is needed. The seat structure was badly broken down with a home made type cover over the bottom to contain the crumbling cushion. The location did not have a working printer to create a copy of the documents. They did not seem very familiar with the U-Haul contract or seemed unsure of what to do to with me or the truck. I waited quite a while for them to finish. I don't just fault the staff, I feel they were poorly trained and ill prepared to help anyone, language barrier or not. While the location is close and handy to me, in future I will avoid this location when I need to rent a truck.

I reserved a cube van and was told a cargo van was a cube van when I went to pick it up. Processing took 1.5 hours. I was told here was no damage but did a walk around and the gas filler door was missing and the hinge damaged. I went back in to report it. When I got in the van the emergency/park brake bracket was broken and the mechanism was hanging. I had to go back in again and report the damage. I believe it is U-Haul not the local agent that is shabby. In the future I will go to Budget as their service is much better and their vehicles are better prepared for the customer.
