When I extended my rental I was charged for the extra days individually which came out of my account, then my final bill had the extended days on it as well and I was double charged for each day. On top of that I turned the vehicle back in with more gas then I took it out with and they charged me for a gas fee and a gas service charge. As of right now they have overcharged my account for $154.39. And honestly I’m not sure it’s the end of the charges. Check your receipts everyone because this business is shady and will try to basically steal your money!

However go rent at this location you have to go to the grocery store 100 yards from the uhaul storage lot and rent the Uhaul through the grocery store customer service desk, and hopefully they are not too busy with grocery store buisness. Then you walk back to the storage lot to get the truck or trailer and hope there is no issue that requires another walk back to the store. Since the Uhaul vehicles and trailer are kept at a self storage lot that has an indoor office, there should be a dedicated Uhaul representative there. Customer should not have to rent from the grocery store 100 yards away. Additionally the 5x8 trailer I rented was a 1990 model and had rotting wood tie down rails inside that would break when we tried to secure items to them. Lug nuts to wheels were rusted on. Glad we didnt need to change a tire. Otherwise no issues.

brenda dThe truck was clean, but when I started it, the check engine light came on and stayed on. Onsite representative called the owner and said because it's Sunday he couldn't do anything about it. So we were screwed. I had to go to an auto parts store to buy a scanner to diagnose the problem myself. Then I drove it to a proper U-Haul Center for them to scan and reset code.
David MThe drop down feature above the wheel well of the trailer was not shown to us and we had to climb out the window of the car after loading onto the trailer. It wasn’t until we dropped the trailer off at the receiving location that we were shown how to do this. Now we know. No more Dukes of Hazard moments! It was funny but for someone not small or limber like myself it could’ve caused some real issues.

Maybe change the name of the location on Uhaul since "all business done at grocery store" kinda throws people off when they pull up to the location and find a sign on the door afterwards.

LYDIA MI received an email confirmation with my pickup date and time. When I arrived at that location, it said it was open till five (I was there at four) and no one was there. I called several times no one answered. I called the 800 number and they told me I needed to go to a different location than what was on my email. I went to the new location and they told me I had to go to yet a third location to pick up my truck. It took several hours to finally get it. The lady told me they would extend my drop off time but they didn’t change my drop off time. So they then charged me $50 additional for returning the truck late when they caused all the chaos and had me driving all over the place, using my time and gas.

Kenneth HDrop off location is listed as a 24/7 drop off location. I returned my truck early and got charged $40 for an extra day...? This makes no sense. My rental period ended at 11pm and I returned the truck before 10pm on the day it was due. It seems as though Uhaul is using this fee to avoid having to reimburse me for unused mileage cost on the equipment. Not satisfied. Will not recommend this location to anyone.

Melissa PWe used the 24/7 mobile service to drop off the truck as well and had troubles here also. The problem had nothing to do with the location but the website and call center. The website would not allow me to complete the drop off instructions, saying there was an error and to call customer service. After waiting 45 minutes on hold in a parking lot at 10 at night I finally tried the chat option. The rep told me I couldn’t complete the drop off instructions and the location would charge me $20 to check in the equipment and she couldn’t waive the fee. Thankfully, when I called the location, they were extremely helpful and understanding and waived it once I explained the situation. To sum it up, the locations need to be vetted better to ensure the locations will be run professionally and the customer service department needs to be more efficient.

We do not normally complain but this was terrible... The Folks At Terry's were very nice but it is not their fault it is UHAUL. We have one more move to make and we will not be using Uhaul. The Uhaul in Tampa, Florida was great but here in Alabama it is poor. MUST BE UPPER MANAGMENT.... Making their Bonuses. Nothing for you to do....but run away from this place...

Worth of all, U HAUL sent me an hour past my vehicle pickup location to pickup a tow dolly. after i told them the locations i need the dolly from. Poor Job U HAUL

Raymond PWhen I picked up trailer it took almost a hour to even get the unit and the attendant did not come out side to even check to see even if I had the proper hook up for the lights or if the tow hitch was ok or anything...She said for me to go look for the trailer and get it.I did not ask for anyone to hook it up.But they should of made sure the lights worked. And I had the right hookup. The trailer did ok.

carol aMy husband went to the location given and when he arrived, there was a sign to go to another location. We drove 90 miles round trip to pick up a truck that was needed for a move just over 100 miles away. Seems a bit ridiculous to have to travel that far to rent a truck. My husband tried to confirm w/ the UHaul attendant that the round trip mileage to pick up the truck would not be part of our 128 mile agreement w/ no avail. The attendant was not helpful at ALL, not very competent about the leasing procedure nor able to answer any questions. Next time it seems it would be more efficient to rent a truck round trip rather than have to go thru this hassle of securing a truck. Still waiting to see what our final charge will be for this rental.
