Sarah PThe Lady who helped us was very nice and efficient. First, It seems, though, between 3 attendants, they all had trouble with the computer. This worried me but I hung in there patiently. 2nd, They made it clear to be sure and fill the tank the same as when I received it. I took photos of the gas gauge upon pick up and return. But the attendant then told me she would have to charge me $70 because I did not return the van with enough gas. I said, no way! Then I'll add more if you want. I then showed her my gas gauge pictures and she said, "OK, you're good, it's OK." The problem is that the gauges on the vehicle don't have the graduation marks as detailed as the scale on the contract. It can be difficult at close glance, to interpret the needle on the gauge vs the mark on the paper.
WILLIAM FMy complete U-haul experience was exceptional. Customer service was courteous and helpful every step of the way. Reasonably priced. I had to extend my rental a couple times and everyone I spoke with was very accommodating. I will never hire a moving company. Thank you so much, Barb
BARBARA BThe Truck was Clean, but mechanically it was the worst truck I have ever rented. The ride was very rough, the steering column was loose and very noisy. I would recommend a Ryder or Penske for the smooth air ride.

PAUL OThe rental experience was good, but had to hook up the equipment personally. Usually, an attendant is there to make sure hook-up is correct. However, after hooking up the woman attending the station came out to verify everything was correct and took pictures of everything. Overall the experience was above average.
EARLE SWas stranded with blown tire for 2.5 hours, then again for 3.5 hours. Tires are garbage. Currently sitting on side of road again with different trailer with blown tire. Been 2.5 hours, no clue when will get fixed. Done with Uhaul!!!
DAVID SWe had to wait at the location for our rented dollies and furniture pads because they were not in the back of the truck already, so picking up the truck and taking off was not easy nor fast. (not U-Hauls fault, was the locations itself). We wouldn't have minded waiting for the rented equipment but it took a while and dented our travel/moving schedule. The truck was decently clean, definitely not new, crumbs and grime in normal places (fine, normal crust in any vehicle that's not professionally cleaned monthly) windows were dirty and could see child (I assume) fingers smeared acrossed the passanger side. Mirrors were loose and shook when driving, making it hard to see when changing lanes (not sites fault, or anyone's, just a comment). So all in all, not the worst nor the best U-Haul experienc, just meh.

William DThe address I was given during the sign up process was a cotton field NOT the cheveron station at the listed address. No trailer hitch on site, no light plugs and trailers did not have a lift jack. Verify addresses and products BEFORE renting at least Tractor Supply next door had what was needed.

HAROLD QCar dolly was a good pick up spot. But where I picked up the 10 foot truck I would never pick up from there or want anyone to pick up from there.

Herman AI felt so badly for the single clerk who was trying to run the convenience store gas station and the U-Haul business.. The location itself is very convenient however everyone knows it takes a few minutes to fill out all the necessary forms to rent your U-Haul. How would one individual be able to do this in a timely manner? Gas station lotto tickets fuel sales inventory management The list goes on. I'm happy that Safford had a U-Haul location so convenient to the community. Not really get this very pleasant customer service person another staff member. It's just not fair to expect so much out of her.

Michael bI do believe you guys can lower the cost of renting car dollies $630 I feel is a little aggressive for a two wheel dolly and $300 would be more like it not everybody in the world has $$630 dollars just laying around other than that the service was good but I got it from

Rito RIt was impossible to lift the trailer onto the bal hitch because it was very very very heavy! I had to get another customer from the service station to help me lift the trailer and we still had difficulty lifting it. You need to have a better way to lift the trailer before someone gets injured!
Philip LMake sure equipment is safe to use for all customers. I was able to use personal equipment to get by with not being able to use provided tie downs. One wheel strap was damaged and unusable without using another piece of strap with a hook that I happened to have.

Marleah GSite & clerk were quick, organized, efficient. The download time for copying both sides of your driver’s license to send to UHaull was slow. Slow internet or something. Maybe Black Friday was just unusually busy WIFi.
IDA NCheck tire pressure on trucks AND trailers before renting them. Don't rent a truck if you can't provide a return location within a reasonable distance of the destination or don't charge miles if they have to drive more than 25 miles to return.
Diane SI just had to drop off my u haul a 100 miles out of the way of the direction I needed to go. It added 200 extra miles and time to what I really needed to be doing. This is my only complaint

Roberto HAfter I picked up the truck the roof top was caving in on us. The ignition keep popping out and missing up and and shorted out think someone was messing with it trying to hotwire the truck and after loading the truck would not start and they had to come change the battery in it so not a good experience they need to service and check the trucks better before renting them out nit good.

Brenda DI reached where I was assigned to a location, then when I got there it sent me to a different location. Then told me to go back to the other location with the trailer that I couldn’t pull with my vehicle. Seemed to work alright though.

Gregory BThe worker on site was very nice but couldn’t do much on her own. She had to call her boss on the phone and pass all the info on to him so he could process it and he wasn’t on site. They also made me park the trailer and detach it myself and couldn’t provide any documentation that proved I dropped it off on time and that I didn’t damage anything.
