Lower mileage prices. Wanted a Penske truck but it was closed the day I needed it. That’s the only reason I used U-Haul. The location was fine, however, so I gave a good review.

Kathy MWhile Autobahn was a great location and very easy to work with, I'm dissatisfied with the gas policy. I was told to fill up the tank when I was done. I put 26 miles on the truck, however, i filled the tank with 9 gallons of gasoline. After doing some research, i discovered that the truck gets 10 miles a gallon. in this situation, i should have only put in 3 gallons of gas at $3.79 - approximately $12. However, i put in $35 of gas. Can someone please look into this and consider giving me a credit? in the future, i'd recommend a different option on gas. I have to rent a uhaul next month and i will fill up the tank based on miles used. any feedback would be appreciated. thank you

TERRY WHave other Uhaul rentals be as attentive and courteous as Bryan is. Of all of the Uhaul places I have rented from, HE IS THE ONLY ONE WITH ENOUGH COURTESY TO ANSWER HIS PHONE!!! I will always go here first.

kimberly mThe guy was really nice but the pictures for the pre-drive appraisal weren't updated and I had to take pictures of damage that wasn't documented. The truck also had issues starting in the morning, took 20 minutes to get it started.

Ken STruck was blocked in by snow and had very little fuel. After returning the truck got charged 30$ for having the gage within gallon of where it started then charged an additional 36$ from the location for who knows what absolute bs
Tucker KWeather stripping on both doors is worn down to the point that outside noise and wind came in unhindered and made the drive extremely loud and cold during my drive, which was extremely uncomfortable. It is apparent cigarettes were smoked in the cab as the smell was nauseating. Neither door closed on the first try and had to be slammed to close completely. The transmission obviously needs service, as the vehicle struggled to pass 3rd gear
Ryan DI would not ever go back here again I dropped it off there on a Saturday and on the following Monday another U-Haul called asking me if I still needed my U-Haul they didn't know I had turned it in. And as of today almost a week later I still haven't got my refund back yet.

MaKayla RI drove from johnstown to altoona twice in one day. It cost me $100.00 in gas, which I thought was extremely pricey. Dont know if there was some kind of defect in truck. I will say the gentleman that helped me was very nice. Also, the cost for mileage is quite pricey.

EUGENE JI feel that the hauling trailer should have an adjustable jack with a standing wheel with a lock in place. This would help to adjust the height level of the trailer to hook up to a truck hitch( instead having to lift dead weight of the entire trailer off the ground to place on a truck hitch!!!. Plus the salesman should of came out to help my husband lift the U-haul trailer tongue onto our truck hitch. ( the trailer tongue was extremely heavy. I could not just stand watch my husband try and lift it my himself..I helped my husband lift the trailer, but I was not much help, he lifted the brunt of the load and my husband pulled a back muscle!) off to the chiropractor he goes.
Laurie SOnline return sucks; after trying multiple times, I finally called Customer Service to notify them that it wasn't working and she told me I'll be charged $20 for not using return online...plus I returned my equipment a 24 hrs early ....very bad experience!!

Jonathan VI noted the vehicled was not clean when I got it. I even uploaded pictures. I noted the same dirt when I dropped it off and Uhaul charged me the cleaning fee. Wow! Thats wrong!
Christy OThe place of pick-up was good, especially with the COVID-19 challenges. The biggest thing, however, is that I had signed up for the pickup to be at a specific time in location #1. We went to bed early Saturday night and left early Saturday morning to ensure we'd be at Location #1 on time. When we were hours into the trip, we found out that not only had the location at some point been changed, but also that the new location was closing at a time we weren't sure we'd be able to make!. I didn't catch the fine print until we were on the road and we had hoped it was the business office where the payment had gone through, as I had confirmation that the equipment would be at Location #1 when I signed up. Unfortunately, this was not the case and the equipment was indeed at the Location #2. We were told that Location #2 would close at 1. Not only was it further away from where we were at the time of the call, but it was out of our planned routes of travel. I was very thankful that the employee was patient and did stay open for about ten minutes after the closing time for us. It's just the slight panic and extra rush did put a damper on the trip. When we returned home, we found an email had been sent on Friday after 10 pm notifying us of the location change. We were sleeping by then, and the next morning heading out the door. Clearer and earlier notification would have been much better.
