There were rusty razor blades on the floor, there were not handles To roll windows down or up, I was charged mileage I did not actually drive because no one came out to check the odometer because they said there was only one employee in the store (although he was nice), The pull down door in the back of the truck could not latch, I was charged for mileage I did not use, I could not pull the seat forward in the truck but it was mandatory that I drive, even though I'm short and there was no way to adjust the seat for me. This entire truck needs to be repaired or replaced and I am requesting credit for a rental at a future date.Toni F.

This was the worse experience I have ever had with UHAUL. The people at the location were clueless as to what was going on. The truck was FILTY, the smell was HORRIBLE, the back door kept lifting up. It was BY FAR the worse experience. It wasn't until I dropped the truck off and had to call the actual UHAUL Place was when i finally got some professionalism. I wish I could remember her name; I was lucky enough to get her on the line BOTH times that I had to call and she was a blessing in disguise. This location needs to be shut down and they should not be allowed to represent UHAUL at all. There should be some kind of protocol that the subcontractors should have to follow in order to represent a company as big as UHAUL. This was absolutely the worst. The truck was absolutely disgusting. The service was minimal. Not clear in instructions. I put gas in the truck and I was still charge $7.13 for gas. Never again will I use uhaul.Judy M.
Uhaul moved me to a location at a quickeemart in one of the worst neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale. 1 clerk behind the counter with a small crowd of bums inside and outside smoking tiparillos and drinking beer. Truck had no license plate which I didn't realize until I needed to park it. Gas tank wouldn't accept gas from a station there is something broken. The only way I could fill it was by using a gas can. Truck was on E when I took it out.Christopher P.

Poor customer service and poor communication. The Rep wasn't on time to do contract, which caused delay in moving, and Rep stated don't worry about been charger for been late, it will be removed. Yet, Uhaul charge an additional day , Never rent from Uhaul again. Gas meter on the truck did not work, found out afterwards when fueling. An horrible experience. I traveled only 4 miles and was charged $12 dollars for Gas. that Gas mileage per Gallon is a sign of poor maintenance and Borders on Fraud and A Scam. The truck had trash in it from a previous rental the truck also had roaches in it and now they're in my storage room also when I call to rent the truck they didn't explain to me that there will be extra expenses on renting the truck so I had to leave the rental site to put more money on my card in order to rent a truck this was the first time I ever rented a U-Haul and I was not happyMaxine T.
This location was not a very good one. The truck I rented was not well kept in the back area it had tobacco ashes all over and a used condom rubber. Inside the cabin area was not bad apart from from some drinking straw rapping paper on the ground and in the cup holder. this location had no printer and didn't give me a contract to sign did everything on the computer and over charge me for and extra day... The GM called me in regards to a complaint about the fuel charge. I had filled the truck to exactly how I received it but drove it a few miles from the store. By the time I get to the store to drop it off, the fuel reduced slightly, resulting in a surcharge! Never again!Tiffany T.

There needs to be someone to "Check out" the vehicle i.e. the condition, mileage, gas level etc. None of that was done. I had to put gas in the truck and I was still charged for gas upon return.Ray E.
When I arrived to the location I checked in and the cashier said they had no ink so he could not give me a copy of the agreement. I should have known something was up then. The trip I took was to my house to pick up a sofa (2.5 miles from The Blue Store) drop it off at my friends house (almost 1 mile from my house) then back to The Blue Store (right at 2.4 miles) so total should have been close to 6 miles. When I turned in the truck it said that I had gone 36 miles. This is not possible. So running some kind of scam. If this is how you allow your vendors to treat customers might want to re-evaluate this location.RICHARD F.

When I went to the location â€œthe blue storeâ€ 19th street Fort Lauderdale Florida. The guy was very unprofessional he did not do a inspection of the vehicle the back door was broken upon arrival. The fuel in vehicle was one notch above â€œEâ€. He never checked the mileage I had to demand that he check things out overall having the U-Haul s station there for pick up is a terrible idea, for years my family have rented with U-Haul and I never seen something so unorganized.Keshonna L.

The person who takes care of the u haul portion in store is rude and very hasty. The times in the website are not the times that he is "available." That is very inconvenient when you make a reservation for 8am and someone else in store tells you that the person who is in charge of the u haul reservations comes in at 10am-6pmEmile J.

The guy at the Davie/Flamingo Rd U haul was extremely helpful. And that's where it ends! The service from the company is absolutely awful! I did not get a truck and ended up going with another company. Customer service was terrible! Terrible! Terrible! They were not helpful they did not call back when they were supposed to on several occasions. I highly recommend going to a different company.margaret C.
