there is no one better than the people at the Toy store for taking care of people, be sides me I have witnessed the staff being extremely helpful, friendly, and courteous with everyone who enters the facility. excellent experience

Julie is absolutely fantastic to work with! I’ve rented U-Haul trucks and trailers from several places over the years, and The Dam Toy Store is hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. The customer service here is exceptional—friendly, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. Unlike other locations where the process can feel frustrating or impersonal, Julie and her team make everything smooth and stress-free. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would!!

The app pickup process required additional verification for an out of state driver's license. It would have been helpful to have already scanned my driver's license when I first made my reservation. That way I wouldn't be at the pickup location needing additional documentation that is not with me. Destiny at customer service was extremely helpful getting this issue sorted.

Julie was extremely nice and helpful. Knowing that my daughter was moving to the area, she provided information and suggestions for local restaurants and other fun activities in the area. The equipment was ready when I arrived and the trailer was loaded onto my truck by the technicians. I will definitely rent from this business in the future.

The dash lights don’t work on the truck. I drove home unaware of the speed because it was night. I flicked the switch up as directed and the lights wouldn’t come on. I was so tired I forgot to mention when I returned and will call in the AM. Thank you!

Not related to any location ... rather the WEBSITE. Was offered a reduced rate to return trailer to Reed City, MI - which is only 20 minutes from my home. However the contract called for return to this location in Big Rapids, MI which is more than an hour from my home. Was very disappointed to see this when i picked up the trailer.

I bought Safe Tow and had a problem with the towed vehicle. The auto transport separated from my hitch ball when I was loading it (something I've done many times before, so it wasn't my first rodeo; I was also a trucker in the Army for 8 years), and they denied my claim. It was just over $ 4,000 in repairs, and they denied it. Why would you ever buy any insurance if it doesn't even pay for a covered issue? I'm thinking twice before I ever rent a U-Haul again. You can buy a similar trailer for $4,000. I'm thinking about talking to a lawyer because the insurance company doesn't have any recourse. I even asked if I should send in an affidavit from witnesses, but there was no response.

I had rented a 26' Ford truck. Although it was fairly new, less than 10K miles, and drove it 750 miles. It was mechanically sound, but the ride quality was the worst for any truck I have driven. The suspension was beyond basic, one that should not be used for long hauls. That aside, the service I received both at pick up and drop off was excellent!
