I believe the surge brakes on this trailer were not operating correctly. Possibly partially engaged for the last half of my trip. I've towed the same model trailer on several other occasions without issue. This time I experienced a recurring engine cooling issue. The truck has been given a clean bill of health by an auto shop. The cause is suspected to be the surge brakes on the trailer dragging or not fully releasing.Benjamin C.

This was a worn out old trailer guy had to work on lights just to get me going and all the tag light nor the running lights didn't work. Had a blow out on trailer. After waiting 2 hours on interstate. I unloaded car and wife drove it last 50 miles. While I waited another couple hours for repair man. He had wrong tire for old trailer. So he took trailer from me. I was told a drop-off dealer couldn't be located, & to call when I arrived to my destination. I was Put on hold forever, but the young lady was helpful in that I needed to do a survey when trailer was dropped off. Very bad & sad experience. Couldn't find a number to call & I don't want your app on my phone. Hope I don't have to rent from Uhaul again!john G.

I reserved my truck via the internet. Within 10 minutes I received a confirmation text. However, the pickup location had changed, it was different than what I was told was good on the internet. I had to drive 30+ additional miles just to pick up the truck. Not good at all. I would not have reserved this vehicle if I hadn't been told it was at the convenient location I had been shown. Poor business practice. All people I came in contact with were very polite and helpfulEdward C.

The sales person informed me that someone had tried to steal the exhaust components from the truck. At that time I did not realize what shape the truck was in. The exhaust was extremely loud and deafening inside the cab. Because the exhaust had been cut the check engine light kept coming on. This vehicle should be taken out of service until properly fixed. The pick up and drop off location was fine but U-Haul should not be renting vehicles in that kind if shape.Jerry S.

Drop off was super easy. Backed the trailer into its parking space, unhitched, took a couple of pictures using their checkout app and we were done. Great place and service, didn't have to speak to anyone. Highly recommend U-haul, they made a difficult task very easy!MATTHEW B.

You need to quit screwing people out of there money. It's amazing that I only drove to the house I loaded from to the house I unloaded at and then took it straight to the drop off site and got charged with 42 extra miles because you damn people only gave me mileage from where I picked up at to my new address. Not considering that I have to go pick up my stuff nor did you consider that I have to return the vehicle. Just another to screw the people who keep you in business. I will not use uhaul ever againJames B.

Previous customers packing blankets and foam we left in trailer. Service employee did not open the trailer doors for inspection prior to us leaving. The employee did not tighten the trailer ball coupling, nor check to be sure the lights were working properly. It took 1 hour to get the paperwork completed. I had called the day before to confirm availability and price. During the confirmation the price went up from what was indicated by my online reservation. We get to the store to pick up and the price went up again. After 3 phone calls and the hour wait U-Haul and I finally agreed on a price - the online price, plus tax. But what an ordeal!!!!!Jerry S.

I was very upset at first because it wasn't explained that they were giving me a credit for gas since it was on E. I got down the road before I saw it was on E and had to hit the closest gas station at high prices in Vancleave. Next time say something. I did see the bill showed a credit for it. I put in $30 and it gave me a $24 credit. To my mind the per mile shouldn't be that high if you are not providing the gas. Otherwise...I got done what I needed and am thrilled to do it in one trip!April C.

I dropped my U-Haul trailer off at this location and recieved a phone call 3 days later saying my trailer was dropped off 3 days late and was required to pay overage fees on the time it was away(even though I dropped it off on time). They claim their store was "eating the money" for my mistake not making it clear I was returning the trailer even though they claimed they check for trailers everyday (even though my trailer was returned before the due date).Reid H.

The truck I got would not shift gears properly and I could not drive over 45 on the Interstate I-10.. the rpms were nearly 4K at the speed of 45,, I'm sure the transmission needs to be replaced... every time I stopped it took over 15 seconds for the transmission to move the truck again after a loud bang and jar of the truck,, it was a terrible ride!!Dearld N.

Trailer was in horrible condition. Tires were bald. Rim was bent, trailer was covered in rust. I'll was going to rent a small trailer for my move this week but after seeing the condition of the equipment and the "don't care, not my problem" attitude, I won't be renting from Uhaul.Donald F.
