My experience started with a phone call looking for a furniture dolly. The response was very informative about availability and directions. The staff was very friendly. They helped me get ok my way. I was very happy with my experience at this location. The price for a one way rental is absurd. I know the dealer has no control over this. There should be better communication with the 800 number and the pickup location.Jason B.

The folks at the Mini Storage on Highway 707 are fantastic. They clearly explained the terms of the truck rental and offered suggestions which turned out to be helpful. I would not hesitate to rent a truck from this location. Actually this facility is now at the top of my list.DANIEL T.

Everything. It was a total rip-off from start to finish. We went in and hired a 15 foot truck, were told the gas was just a tad under a quarter tank. We were asked approx. how many miles we would be driving and I guessed around 30. We were charged $65.51, but were told if we brought it back with the same amount or more gas in it we would receive credit and would only have to pay $48, plus we could deduct the price of any unused miles. We only did 27 miles so we should have got $2.97 back for that. So I paid for it and my wife set off to our house to load it up. I followed shortly after. When I got home I checked the gas and it was at 3/16 not 1/4 as we had been told and had been marked on our receipt. I thought it was no big deal because the amount of miles we were driving and how much gas we would have to put back in would obviously show that it had been marked down wrong. Well, we loaded up, went to our storage depot, then drove back to the gas station which is 3 miles away from where we rented the truck from. To get it back up to1/4, I had to put over 6 gallons in. So, according to the figures that had been written on my receipt, I must have driven over 60 miles, but no, just 27 is what we did. Well, I already wasn't very happy, and was going to say something when we took it back, but nobody was there, so we just dropped the truck off and left the keys in the box. The day after, May 29th, I called to find out why I hadn't got any credit back that I was promised. The girl we originally dealt with wasn't in but the other man that was there at the time took the phone. He started off quite politely, until I started asking him a few questions about why the gas had been marked down wrong, and why I hadn't got any credit back that I was promised. Then he became abusive, started saying he knew nothing about it, and it must be correct because it's all worked out by computer. He then looked into it and said I had received $11 dollars back in credit and I was just making such a big deal over $3. I told him it was more than $3, it was about the gas being marked wrong as well as the credit. Well, he just didn't want anything to do with me and more or less hung up on me. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, I checked my credit card account, and not only did I not get the $11 credit that he was talking about, I actually got another charge on my credit card for over $7. Then my wife was sent an email saying the tank was returned 1/8 full. How is that possible. I have proof what the gas level was when we started, I have proof how many miles we did, and I have proof that I put over $18 worth of gas in it 3 miles away from where we dropped it off. It couldn't possibly be anywhere near 1/8 full, whether it started at 1/4, as your girl says, or it started at 3/16 like I say. I have ended up paying over $72 when I actually should have paid $45. This was an absolute disgrace, and was so blatantly obvious that I'm definitely thinking it might have been done on purpose. It's bad enough when people make an odd mistake, but when you make several and are then very rude to the customer who you have just â€œscammedâ€ it's just disgraceful and very unprofessional. I hope something gets done about this, because at the moment I'm fuming and I will definitely take this as far as I need to, to get it sorted.ELLEN P.

Disappointed that uHaul does not give a discount for our AAA nor AARP cards could not get a discount. The agent at the return location was very nice and even ask if we had any problems. My husband told them about the wiper blades needing to be replaced because they would not clean the windshield efficiently only streaked. Nice truck, easy to drive. Bad on gasoline. Only 7-8 miles a gallon. Yuck. My old van gets 16-18 mpg.John S.
