Easy drip off experience.
Joseph YThe team member who was to attach the trailer to my truck appeared to indicate that I should continue backing up. I could not see well in the rearview camera due to his position. I backed into the trailer and dented my truck. How about shouting stop? How about frantically waving hands? His expression and signal never changed.
ROBERT EWas treated very poorly by the manager at the desk. They had the equipment that I had reserved but were holding it for another customer that was to arrive after my pick up time. I arrived 5 min prior to my pick up time and was told they could not help me because I was early. When I questioned them about the time and equipment that I could see parked on the lot I was told to stop talking. The other employees were mortified by the terrible treatment but hostage to the abusive manager. I will never return to this location if this is how they treat customers.

KYLE BI rent Uhauls from this location and one nearby at least 8 times per year. From now on, I'll only rent from the Uhaul about 2 miles north of this Mower Shop location. At the Uhaul Moving & Storage location in Noblesville, I have always been treated professionally and kindly. At the Mower Shop, its hit or miss. As a home stager, I'm under the gun to get alot of work done in a short timeframe. I need to have confidence in the reliability of the equipment I rent. In the past 45 days, twice I've rented horrible trucks from The Mower Store location, which is frustrating and stressful. Last week, I rented a Uhaul from the Mower store, and as usual, the employee asked for estimated miles. I explained that this time I was moving my college daughter home, and we both agreed that the anticipated mileage would be just over 100 miles. As I started to drive the truck, a strange noise occurred, so instead of driving 130 miles round trip with a challenging truck, I waited in line to request a more road-fit truck. The red-headed employee who provided "customer service" was hostile and condescending, informing me he's not sure what I would expect with trucks with over 100k miles on them. He embarrassed not only himself and me, but anyone who was in earshot of his mistreatment of a middle-aged woman who simply asked for a more road safe truck. Between the hit or miss road-readiness of the trucks and the hit or miss attitude of the employees, its just easier to visit the Uhaul off 146th Street location. Everyone there just seems more helpful and customer service oriented.

Roger GThe truck was very old and noisy. I did not feel safe in it. The passenger door frame was shaky. The slightest incline would cause more noises. I'm honestly surprised we made it safely. Had I known it was an old rickety truck, I probably would have added the insurance. The employees at this location were super nice and friendly.

Told us to call the roadside assistance for u-haul. They said $200 and had NO IDEA when they could get there. That was an unacceptable answer.

DEONNE SThe location was convenient however the truck had terrible windshield wiper condition which did not work well during the snow storm that arrived shortly after I picked up the truck. The truck also only had 26 miles to empty on gas so for future customers a minimum level of gas I would recommend is 1/4 tank. The manual gauge did state 1/4 tank but it was broken and the digital read out was the only accurate measure of fuel level. Windshield wiper condition is a safety concern so every truck should be inspected for proper wiper condition prior to rental.

VERONICA MI personally went to the location to reserve the rental on 8/10 and spoke with Tony. I advised that I was in need of a one way rental to move to Michigan. He took my information and at no time did he advise that this would be an issue until the truck was picked up on 8/16. The rental information was incorrect in that the truck was to be returned at 7pm that evening which was not physically possible considering we were traveling 3 hours in one direction. We were told that afternoon that we would need to bring the truck back which was an additional 200 miles that we were not informed of at the time that we would need to pay for when we scheduled the rental. We had no alternative given the time of day and our needs for the move. Going forward, we will not use or recommend this location for rental needs and will look to the many other vendors in town whom I am sure would be happy to have our business. The lack of communication is really unacceptable here considering I met with the dealer, in person, and explained my needs.
WENDY DThe truck given to us had extensive damage to the top right side. This was not mentioned at all to us when renting. They tried to fix the rip on the roof with duct tape. This would have been fine if it was a dry day but it rained the day we moved and water got inside the back and our items got wet including a mattress which was very disappointing!!! This truck should not be rented out until fixed and we should have been made aware of the extensive damage .

Arun KThe return process was harder than expected. I was not able to use the app to upload the required information. But thankfully there were instructions for what to do if the app failed. Staff onsite at pickup were friendly and quickly had us out the door. I would definitely use this location again.

Muhammad KI had to work with 2 separate workers, one when picking up and one when dropping off. The worker who helped when I picked up was super rude and passive aggressive. He made me feel on edge and even dumb at times. When I dropped off, I asked if he minded checking the truck right away because I’ve had a problem in the past where I dropped a truck off, it got hit in the parking lot, and I got charged for damages. The employee then rolled his eyes at me and then disappeared. He never came back to tell me he was done checking the truck and I looked for him outside as well. The truck itself was super nice and worked perfectly for my move. The employees though really put a damper on the experience and I wouldn’t recommend this location to someone looking to rent a uhaul.
Amy SThe gas should be full, not 5/16ths what is this? Hard feelings over not having gas in the truck. Location said it was not their fault and they do not get paid to put gas in the truck. Overall nice people but bad experience with U Haul. U Haul thinks it the customer's fault to pick up a truck with no gas, so I will never rent a U haul again.
