The U-Haul App crashed several times when trying to return equipment.

Roger GThe truck was very old and noisy. I did not feel safe in it. The passenger door frame was shaky. The slightest incline would cause more noises. I'm honestly surprised we made it safely. Had I known it was an old rickety truck, I probably would have added the insurance. The employees at this location were super nice and friendly.

Told us to call the roadside assistance for u-haul. They said $200 and had NO IDEA when they could get there. That was an unacceptable answer.

DEONNE SThe location was convenient however the truck had terrible windshield wiper condition which did not work well during the snow storm that arrived shortly after I picked up the truck. The truck also only had 26 miles to empty on gas so for future customers a minimum level of gas I would recommend is 1/4 tank. The manual gauge did state 1/4 tank but it was broken and the digital read out was the only accurate measure of fuel level. Windshield wiper condition is a safety concern so every truck should be inspected for proper wiper condition prior to rental.

BRENDA SThe box portion of the truck began leaking water into it when it started raining. Luckily it didn’t impact our items, but it could have posed a problem for someone traveling with a more full truck and longer distance.

VERONICA MI personally went to the location to reserve the rental on 8/10 and spoke with Tony. I advised that I was in need of a one way rental to move to Michigan. He took my information and at no time did he advise that this would be an issue until the truck was picked up on 8/16. The rental information was incorrect in that the truck was to be returned at 7pm that evening which was not physically possible considering we were traveling 3 hours in one direction. We were told that afternoon that we would need to bring the truck back which was an additional 200 miles that we were not informed of at the time that we would need to pay for when we scheduled the rental. We had no alternative given the time of day and our needs for the move. Going forward, we will not use or recommend this location for rental needs and will look to the many other vendors in town whom I am sure would be happy to have our business. The lack of communication is really unacceptable here considering I met with the dealer, in person, and explained my needs.
WENDY DThe truck given to us had extensive damage to the top right side. This was not mentioned at all to us when renting. They tried to fix the rip on the roof with duct tape. This would have been fine if it was a dry day but it rained the day we moved and water got inside the back and our items got wet including a mattress which was very disappointing!!! This truck should not be rented out until fixed and we should have been made aware of the extensive damage .

Arun KThe return process was harder than expected. I was not able to use the app to upload the required information. But thankfully there were instructions for what to do if the app failed. Staff onsite at pickup were friendly and quickly had us out the door. I would definitely use this location again.

Muhammad KI had to work with 2 separate workers, one when picking up and one when dropping off. The worker who helped when I picked up was super rude and passive aggressive. He made me feel on edge and even dumb at times. When I dropped off, I asked if he minded checking the truck right away because I’ve had a problem in the past where I dropped a truck off, it got hit in the parking lot, and I got charged for damages. The employee then rolled his eyes at me and then disappeared. He never came back to tell me he was done checking the truck and I looked for him outside as well. The truck itself was super nice and worked perfectly for my move. The employees though really put a damper on the experience and I wouldn’t recommend this location to someone looking to rent a uhaul.
Amy SThe gas should be full, not 5/16ths what is this? Hard feelings over not having gas in the truck. Location said it was not their fault and they do not get paid to put gas in the truck. Overall nice people but bad experience with U Haul. U Haul thinks it the customer's fault to pick up a truck with no gas, so I will never rent a U haul again.

Todd JI was called by my original rental location 1 hr prior to picking up my Uhaul and was told there was not a truck available there. I called Uhaul and they found another location for me that was not that far from where I was at that time. The person I was speaking to on the phone at Uhaul said the truck just needs to be returned by 9:00am but NO LATER THAN NOON. I arrived at the second location, signed for my truck and the man told me to have the truck back the next day by 4:00pm. I said even though the lady at the Uhaul customer service stated it needed to be returned no later than noon the next day? He said yes we don’t have anybody wanting to rent it anyway so just have it back by 4:00pm. I tried to return the truck the at 10:45pm the same night I rented it since we finished the move. I attempted to do the after hours return online but got multiple errors stating web services error. I tried calling Uhaul number and did not get an answer. The drop box AND my paper work stated that if after hours return could not be completed that I could be responsible for any damages or loss so I left the truck at the facility in front of their store cameras and took the key back with me to return the next morning. When my boyfriend returned the truck at 11:00 am the person at the counter was rude and argumentative stating that they could’ve rented the truck out if it was back earlier and that I should’ve just left the key in the drop box. My boyfriend tried to explain that we tried but Tim he online service was down and nobody answered ajd that it stated we could be held responsible if after hours was not completed. The guy was rude and said if we had read the pamphlet that he was sure somewhere in there is said we could’ve just left the key in the box. I read it and so did my boyfriend. It never said that in the pamphlet. So needless to say I will not be renting from The Mower Shop again. I will rent directly from a UHaul facility next time.

GREGG SThe truck had almost 195,000 miles and shook when driving it. It struggled going from 1st to 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd as well. Once it was going over 40mph it did ok, but still had a shakiness to it. Several times it started shaking super hard, and I thought it was going to break down on me. I had to slow way down below the speed limit to get it to stop. I didn't feel safe with taking this truck out of town.
Lori LCheck out through the app would not work, so I went to U-Haul.Com/share, and it worked fine.
