Mike was incredibly helpful. I let him know I had trouble with taking the trailer off previously and he greased the works for me and showed me how to use the counterbalance. It was the first time in years of using u haul that I was able to do everything myself. Thank you Mike.

Our truck broke down and we had to wait 6 hours for a tow truck. Then we had to wait a day for a new truck and U Haul offered to pay our rooms for the 2 nights that we were put out and did not. The problem was not something that could have been detected but I wish you would have kept your word and paid our rooms instead of sending us to the hotel and then not approving the payment.
KARI SWhen I picked up the truck, it was filthy. The driver floorboard was full of dirt and mud. That didn't bother me so much because it's just boots...big deal. But when I opened the cargo area, I became upset. Because I knew it was going to take more time on my part to clean it out before I loaded it. The back had dry, caked mud that I could not scrub or mop off. Then I pulled out the ramp, lots of mud, and became more upset for same reasons. I had to hose off ramp and cargo area, scrub, mop, then dry with bath towels so my own furniture would not be resting on a wet floor for travels. How is someone allowed to return it like this? Secondly, why would the agent not clean it for the new customer? I would expect more from Uhaul! I have pictures if you like.
Brian GU-haul has very few drop off locations in the area and I had to drive 60 miles each way for the drop off. Should have ocation in Alturas, County seat for Modoc county California

MICHAEL EFirst off, I had to drive 80 miles 1 way to pick up a car Dolly that should have been at my pickup spot where I reservedit. When I arrived, the price for the car. Dolly was incorrect after spending an hour of trying to get that taken care of when the worker walk me over to where the Dolly was, he pointed and said it's in the back and walk away.. i had to assemble it and put it on the truck myself. And as of somebody that's a disabled veteran 70 years old, it wasn't easy for me to do., .but I didn't complain and I hooked it up. Being an x CD l driver, I understand what a walk around is after checking the wiring and attaching the additional safety chains. I noticed that my rear lights were not working., i brought. That to their attention and they didn't seem to care whatsoever, .i also noticed that there was some small damage to a switch on the top half for the unit. I also noted that. I had to then drive 80 miles back to pick up my vehicle from the original spot where my truck was rented and then stop at Walmart and buy a couple red flashing red lights at an extra cost to assure my vehicle could be seen while. I was towing, being that I was heading from Susanville over shasta North to the 5 freeway all at night.. All I could say is that it wasn't a fun trip..

JEROME DWe were there for 1hr trying to rent a trailer I had ordered on line. Seems they could not get on your website to complete the rental. It was one of the most frustrating experiences with Uhaul Ive ever experienced. I don't blame the Red Barn, because I was trying to complete the rental from my truck and couldnt complete it......This is the only location between Redding, ca and Susanville. Not happy

Jim TThere's no phone service here to do a mobile pick up. The computer wouldn't work to let the employee do a computer pick up. We had to have them call and do it. Did our contract verbally, then when we went to go get the truck the employee signed out, he lost the key. So they gave us a different truck. So when we went to return it on a Sunday and the uhaul drop off was closed they didn't know it was our truck and they tried charging us extra for not bringing the truck back. A whole big mess!

Spencer BI put fuel in the truck but was still charged for 3 gallons and I only drove it 7 miles total.
Rebecca SI was asked to take my truck to this location. unfortunately i could not get there before they closed. I had called U-haul to let them know I was going to be late and they were going to transfer me and she asked me to wait. I waited for over 45 minutes. Then I was charged an additional day on top of it;.
Randall BThis location is not staffed to service UHaul transaction on Saturdays and Sundays. We have been caught off guard by this multiple times, including reservation pickup dates where the UHaul desk was unstaffed. Please communicate better staffing/reservation availability at this location.

MARK VI made a reservation almost 1 month in advance. We called the day before to pick up truck and was told it was there. When we got there someone and released it to someone else, so took almost 2 more hours to get a truck. Also, no one in store was trained to take reservations and THAT took forever.

kim bWe were told to drop it off at this location, and it was very upsetting that we could not drop it off in the local town we moved to Alturas,CA when there was a U-Haul facility there, and costing us more money in fuel and more time..Just felt it would be better that we drop it off in the town we are moving to if there is a location there, in which there was.

DAVID PWell the first thing was that I took a different route through the mountains which was flatter and less winding to be easier on your truck. It was a route that was ten miles longer so I got dinged on four extra miles when I returned it. Next time I won’t care about the equipment I guess. Nobody seemed to give a crap that there was an extra quarter of a tank of gas more than what I received which I estimate was about 10 gallons. So just gouge me on the extra four miles I drove and charge me for that but don’t worry about the $20 in gas I gave you. It just came across as a cheap way to treat a customer.
