CARLOS SDear U-Haul Customer Service, I’m writing to share my recent experience with your service, which unfortunately was far from convenient. The U-Haul vehicle I reserved was not available at my selected pickup location, and I was redirected to Monterey—an hour from my home. This detour cost me an extra $75 in gas for both my personal vehicle and the U-Haul, along with two hours of my time. To make matters worse, the drop-off location I was given was also far from where I had originally planned, adding even more travel and inconvenience to an already frustrating day. While I appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the staff at both locations, the overall coordination of my reservation was disappointing. This feedback isn’t directed at the individual locations, but rather at the system that allowed this to happen. I hope U-Haul can improve the availability and accuracy of pickup and drop-off location scheduling so that future customers don’t face the same difficulties.
IRAKLI VThe equipment was clean but the truck's transmission was completely shot and was awful to drive. I spent most of the trip waiting for it to breakdown. I don't think that this is the fault of the location but more so the equipment itself was awful.

Stacy CThe Rental Place is a good business. I this is an issue with UHAUL. The keys to the 26' truck that I had reserved were not on-site upon arriving to pick up the truck. I used a 10' truck instead hoping that the keys that the keys for the 26' truck would be found. It never happened. Later that day I reserved the 26' for the following Monday and that reservation was moved to a different location in another town. That 26' truck was not on-site when we arrived to pick it up even with an emailed confirmation that it would be there at 7am.

Kevin CThe location is very good. But the U-Haul billing system is the worse. I rent a truck about 10 times a year and more than half of those times I have to call or visit to correct billing errors. It is time consuming and frustrating.

Amanda DThe vehicle mileage recorded in the documentation was lower that the actual mileage I noted and photographed when I took possession of the rental vehicle. This has happened 50% of the time I have rented a vehicle from U-Haul, all locations, in the past year. I begin to wonder if this is a practice to enhance mileage fee revenue.

Pemba SIt's not easy to load the truck. I thought uhauls had ramps.
DILLON RThe location did not check the truck in the same day it was returned resulting in me having to call after receiving a notice of extra charges. Then they entered the incorrect return fuel level and charged me $50 for gas. I had to make another call and provide the handwritten check in receipt to get a refund.

Deborah BNo signage signifying that the truck should be left outside the fence. Yet rental policy states we should leave the truck inside the property. When I opened the unlocked gate to bring the truck in, the person who "runs this place" said in a rude tone I should not have opened the gate. I probably woke him as he may have been sleeping in his car. After that, he proved helpful. Either add signs saying leave truck outside, or lock the gate, or just accept what I do without the attitude.

Mark OBoth of the employees at this location were really engaging and were a pleasure to talk to. You do have to go into the office to pick up the vehicle. On the website, it made it sound like you can do it remotely, but that is not the case.
Adrienne FI have used this location a couple of times in the past and the staff are excellent! I would highly recommend this location for a U-haul pick-up or return, as well as for their primary business of renting all types of equipment.

Gaylord OMileage on the vehicle was incorrect. I was unable to correct the mileage using the app, but it was corrected by the agent upon returning the vehicle.

sandy fThe truck and the windshield were dirty. Not that bad, but not clean. The problem was that there was no washer fluid so I was not able to clean off the windshield. Minor point, but worth noting.
Thomas STire has low air pressure but they fixed that immediately and everything worked great! Always check to make sure any equipment with your rental is in the cargo area before you leave. But overall great experience every easy to check the vehicle out and check it back in through the app. would recommend and will be using again!
Clay JSlow computer while waiting for a UHaul rental. 30 minutes to rent a van! I was late to my schedule appointment. Reserved in advance and still took 1/2 hour. Employee states its their data base software, sure it is!
