Uhaul needs to have a better one way truck pick up system, had to drive 70 ÷ miles pay bridge toll to get truck reserved 12 plus days in advance for pick at Fort Knox Storage, Pittsburg ,CA 94565. Had to drive over bridge 70 miles out of my way to get Uhaul 15ft Truck. Uhaul causes down line scheduling problems for customers using Moving Help prepaid when reservation for truck made. Uhaul truck inventory and location is sadley outdated and behind times, NOT Customer friendly. No GPS locators on trucks, like majority of shipping companies.

We reserved the trailer 1 1/2 weeks in advance. A couple of days prior, I called to confirm the trailer from the pick up location and was told he didn't have any trailers. I quickly managed to call a local Uhaul location and rented an open trailer (not what I wanted) three days prior to when I actually needed it just to make sure I'd have a trailer. I feel Uhaul should reimburse be for these three days. Not pleased.

My original reservation for a bigger trailer was pushed without any notification. I was not as productive with my work as a result. Luckily the local owner was able to find a smaller trailer to help. Frustrating!!

One of the tires was 40psi lower than the rest. The friendliness of the two staff members was great and they were super helpful. Just need to make sure those tires are full. Could have been dangerous if I didn't check.

On line check was POOR; customer service and tech could not resolve the issues which locked me out of my account prohibiting early pick up resulting in a wait of SIXTY MINUTES for store to open. Was a bit wound up by the time I got the key. This put me ONE HOUR behind schedule.

New ownership has improved the location. They are friendly, helpful and pleasant to deal with.

My right turn/brake light didn't work and the manager didn't have enough time to repair the problem. He did the best he could with the time he had. I think all lights should be checked on everything Uhaul rents before the custermer picks up their rental equipment. We spent close to forty minutes trying to resolve my light problem.
