Super tired from moving so I forgot his name but the guy who helped us, with a beard and medium length hair was super chill and helped us out majorly when the online 'no people' interaction version on the website wasn't working. Booking online and then doing the rest during business hours worked for us. The van was super clean, and worked out well.
Kathryn KI rented a U haul truck and when I drove off the lot the check engine light came on. I was concerned but was only going to be driving it for 10 miles round trip so I thought it would be ok! I did mention to them when I returned truck. I don't think they should be renting with this issue happening. It also ran like a tank!!! Maybe there is actually an issue with the engine.
ELIZABETH SThere was some kind of issue going on with the “check engine“ light. The truck worked fine for me, but it was a little unnerving to be driving it with that light on. Otherwise, all the personnel at the rental location were very helpful.

DEANNA HI failed to let the rental place know there was a ~10 dia. puddle under passenger side of motor after it sat a few hours as I loaded it. I think it was hydraulic fluid from power steering. I also heard scraping sort of sound when I decelerated around 60 MPH afterwards.
MARK HI selected no on question 'Was personnel helpful' as the facility was closed but drop off instructions were clear and drop off box was visible.
Blanca FI am terribly disappointed in the declining customer service of UHaul. Why do customers have to track down an auto transport trailer or an auto tow dolly? The lack of concern is unbelievable nowadays. There was a time when UHaul had great customer service. Apparently, those days of legitimate customer service are long gone. C’mon UHaul, get your act together like you used to. Why even bother to make a reservation if you can’t deliver on those reservations??? I don’t think I can ever recommend UHAUL again because of the lack of care and poor customer service with the lousy effort to make getting a tow dolly convenient - and then the horrible attitude of the agent on the phone telling me I have to go to Two separate locations to get a trailer??? Where is the concern for the customer??? Apparently getting a moving van and an automobile tow dolly at the same location is like winning the lottery. It doesn’t have to be so difficult!!! DO BETTER!!!

DEBORAH QI had concerns when I dropped off the Uhaul but the person behind the counter clearly did not care. He would rather not have involved himself at all. So I tried to do the whole return on my app and gave up when the app wanted me to take a slew of photos. Overall, calling uHaul itself was positive but the uHaul locations could be more invested in customer care. The only reason I would still recommend this location for drop off is that the actual location is practical and gets the job done, just don't expect much care.
Bettina VI have used U-Haul services before and always there’s some issue that I can look past. Was upset that I wasn’t notified in more advance that the store never inputted my info and so I had to wait an hour longer to get the truck. More than that the man charged me for all day not 6 hours which is all I needed it for and was not communicating effectively with us regarding changes and requests we put in. Will use service again in future probably but was a deterrent for this specific location used.

Richard PThis business is a disgrace to U haul! They are CROOKED as hell. The windshield was filthy and hard to see out of so I cleaned it for safety after I got the van. I received it on 7 3 2024 at 9:47 am Returned it on July 6 at 9:52 am but parked in front where I picked it up. They were busy and I waited in line for about 10 minutes. Cesar said "did you park in the back"? I said no- I parked it in front where I picked it up and did as directed. By this time its about 10:15 which is on my receipt so I WAS CHARGED FOR A FOURTH DAY! To add insult...they made a large mistake (their favor of course in the mileage) which I saw when I returned home. I called Cesar and he said let me give you a credit of $70. I said can I have a picture of the odometer? NO sir he said. Also why was I charged a 4th day? I picked it up with 1/3 tank o gas and returned it with 1/2. I will post my experience on Yelp, Facebook, Nextdoor and do a BBB complaint. I need a credit for the 4th day immediately. and further evidence of the mileage error. This place is a disgrace to U Haul!! I will never rent anything from them again. Nor will anybody I know.

Khatchadour KWhile the agent gave us paperwork that demonstrates how to precisely add fuel used on our trip, we didn’t read all the paperwork. My suggestion, for folks like myself, is to show the client the information on the paperwork, so if there’re questions they can be answered before leaving the shop. Tx
EDWARD SNext to the key drop box is a sign that says ~ go to Uhaul.com/return. I suggest you put a large sign next to it that says “STOP And READ->”
MARK HI had rented a truck last September and it seemed you could ONLY rent it through the app, which was (and may still be) dysfunctional. Thank you for making it easier on us old farts! The personnel in both Rohnert Park and Fort Bragg were great.
Peter PThe gear selector was off, so not reading the correct gear. It threw me all off. I showed up to do self checkout, and i couldn't find a bar code. The website provide no help what so ever. The guy inside had no idea what i was talking about. Very frustrating indeed. The online self return was not very descriptive at any step in the process. This process used to be so easy. I don't know what you did to mess that one up but it is horrible.

Richard OThe truck was clean. When the worker drove the truck over, the tire pressure warning light on the dash was illuminated. The worker just said to ignore it as the batteries in the tire system needed to be replaced. Being that I was driving 300 miles, I should have been offered a truck that didn't have a malfunction, especially for the tires as it would be nice to know if there really is a probelm.

Aran FU-Haul had several problems & several maintenance issues. When brought to the locations attention - the guy responded and said “yeah this one does that” - the truck shakes, a/c smelled like someone shit in the vent, it would randomly down shift two gears and cause you to slam on breaks, wheels screeched. Experience was a 3/10 and the 3 points came from staff at location aside from guy at returning the vehicle. Disappointed a manager didn’t call me from U-Haul after I called and a staff member said they would escalate me to a manager. Terrible terrible experience

Pat CIt’s difficult to add or change anything online… Not so user friendly especially when you use Square 24 if an add to driver needs to be made. That was not easy but staff on site were super helpful.
