Rustic Roost is my preferred. Other places are grumpy and act like youre a bad guy. Everyone at TRR is super nice, helpful, and always gets me on my way. Their fun shop is also great atmosphere while you peruse. The UHaul app is okay too. Not great, but live customer service that can help is a huge win. Thanks!

NICHOLAS SThis was the worst experience ever. We experienced a blow out on the rental trailer. However, it could have and should have been avoided. I told the rental tech/agent upon pickup that the trailer tires looked dry rotted; unfortunately, the tech didn't agree and felt no need to provide a different trailer (which was available). He however, stated that the tires were fine, even after I reminded him that the trailer was going to be used to complete a cross-country trip. The blowout occurred at the worst possible time (during rush hour (Atlanta GA - On I - 85 & and while it was 94 degrees). Need I say more? Only with the grace of God we didn't not suffer a major accident, or possibly worse. The trailer actually required two replacement tires, The one which blew out and a second tire that the roadside assistant felt needed to be immediately changed to avoid a second possible blow out. We had to suffer in the intense heat, because after running our vehicle to attempt to stay cool my wife and the truck started to overheat. My wife required a medical evaluation and barely avoided heat exhaustion. If the tech had listened, we feel this circumstance would have never occurred. Maybe only senior U-Haul tech should inspect/evaluate and rent equipment for long hauls. This would be our recommendation.
ICKY HTrailer 4 way light plug was very short, clearly the result of a recent wiring repair that didn’t consider the length needed to turn with the vehicle. On every turn, the plug pulled out, leaving is with no lights on the trailer. I had to purchase temporary trailer lights and install them on the side of the road to use this trailer. Also, safety chains were crazy long. I had to wrap them around the trailer arm handle to keep them from dragging, and use zip ties to further shorten chain. Not sure about safety of doing this, should the chains actually be needed…would they deploy as expected?

Maureen RGood location but it’s just a sketchy parking lot. After hours so we didn’t see any staff. The app crashed when I tried loading pics upon return. A huge thing that will keep me from renting trailers again is that there is no jack to get the trailer on and off! This needs to change.

James SKeep reservations I had my cross country move almost stopped 3 times due to people leaving trailers or the mileage off the bid, then I was supposed to have a truck and trailer and at the last mi Ute you guys canceled our trailer to pull our car, and just said oh well we got you a truck but you have to go here, that place says oh they didn’t reserve a trailer now and you’ll have to go to another town to get the truck, an hour later never mind we have it across town come get it now. The actual last place where I rented my truck was great he knew his stuff and didn’t Jack me around and helped find a new trailer to tow our car, which you guys later cancelled told me to go 2 hours south then called and said never mind it’s in Colorado Springs not Pueblo but I had to pay for all those miles driven and was charged extra at the end due to having to chase a trailer after the place I was supposedly getting the 28 foot truck from that canceled or trailer to find us a truck even though we had reservations for truck and trailer weeks earlier it didn’t matter our equipment was given to someone else and I spent hundreds of dollars running around until yes we finally were sent to the place we rented the truck he was great. Everyone else needs to find a new way to lie to people.

Craig AThe only reason why I would not recommend this site is because of where it is located. I did not feel comfortable picking up and dropping off the truck because it is in an area known to be dangerous. It was my mistake, nothing to do with UHaul.

BLAYNE BUhaul corporate is the worst. I reserved a trailer. 2 days before pickup I get a call it's not available. STRIKE 1. They changed the location to a place 3 hours away STRIKE 2. I called the 800 number and found a trailer 15 minutes from my house. Uhaul REFUSED to honor the discount they gave me. STRIKE 3. Budget and Penske need to start renting trailers without the truck. 1 STAR
Peter MLady did not know the computer system. Another location (Fountain) actually reserved the trailer for me to pick up at this (Rustic Roost) location, so it should have been a simple process. It took 30 min. and a phone call for her to get this trailer rented. She read my address AND credit card information out loud (loud enough for others to hear). Not cool.
Shawn RPeople at location were pleasant and helpful. However, the truck had some kind of STRONG chemical perfume smell, like they were trying to hide something foul. It made my eyes water and my throat burn. Not a minor thing, this was a big deal. I had to leave a window down while driving at highway speeds during winter temperatures. That sucked. The driver side door would not close correctly. If I did roll up the window, the driver side door made a very loud wind noise since it would not close properly. The check engine light came on at the end of our trip. Temps/voltage/oil pressure were all good. Advertised as a 20' truck, but the cargo box is only 17' long. Lost 3 feet of cargo space that I paid for, simply because the truck is not accurately described.

Joshua SUhaul gave us the wrong address for drop off. It should be 603 S Nevada not 601 S Nevada. Also, the Rustic Roost is an antique store on Palmer street, 10 min away!
