The Smoke shop was not open. I think it may be out of business? The U-haul sign (on building of smoke shop) which says to document your return on line, says nothing about needing to do it with geolocation. So unfortunately I had gone home and figured I would do it at home. When I couldn't do that, I had to return the next day to the trailer location to document the return via geolocation. Unfortunately once again no one was at the smoke shop, but managed to do it on line. Closed? Out of business? The pick up in Florida not so bad, the return in Michigan not good.

PAUL MI booked this reservation about a month before my pick-up and was called the day before with a location change. This added a significant amount of time to my travel. When I spoke to Paige on the phone, I did not experience ANY understanding of how frustrating it was to hear literally the day before that my trailer pick up location had changed. While the location may have been “6 miles away”, it turned a 15 minute drive into a 50 minute drive - and then having to drive back an empty trailer for 50 minutes!? If someone reserves a certain trailer over a month ahead of time, their location should be prioritized. If you prioritize the size and price of the order, which seems to be the case, U-haul will no longer be my provider for my next move. the folks at the ypsi smoke shop were SO great, but that doesn’t make up for u-haul inconveniencing us AND THEM by changing reservations less than 24 hours before.
