I placed an order online to rent one of your pick up trucks. I paid in advance. When I arrive to pick up my truck on Tuesday morning 29 September 2020, they told me I had to drive 40 miles to pick up my truck. The pick up truck they had, someone rented it, and never returned it. Check the electrical before customer arrives. There was a broken wire for the left turn signal that required repair prior to leaving the location. However, the representatives were courteous, speedy, and helpful making the transaction quick, easy, and enjoyable.James H.

I drove from CT to RI to pick up the uhaul as the price was exceptional. I guess at the end of the day, there was a reason. When we arrived the attendant pointed out the uhaul and stated we wold have to figure out have to hook it up ourselves because of the corona virus that they were no longer touching the units, but would walk around and check the unit out before we pulled out. Fingers crossed that we hooked it up correct. Just because we use the service frequently doesn't mean we hook up and unhook the units. We get to CT safety and pull out for our final destination on 3/29/20 and later that day while in Pennsylvania a tire blew on the uhaul. After having to wait an hour and a half to have a tire changed, we now have to stop for the night, which put me behind schedule. Only now to arrive in Alton IL on 4/3/20 where the attendant to open the uhaul to find out that the uhaul leaked and that everything in the uhaul was wet of the bottom. TV, Computer, printer, boxes of food...everything! When arriving to drop off the uhaul the attendant starting looking at the uhaul only to find out the the rubber seal on the door was nonexistent. The attendant apologized stating that this uhaul shouldn't have been sent out without being checked first and had the staff checked it that they would have never sent this particular uhaul out. Maybe if the staff were actually touching the units the seal and the tires condition would have been seen and just maybe these unfortunate events wouldn't have happened and some of our items wouldn't have been ruined. Again, Im a nurse, so I appreciate safety, however; my safety is also important. Weird how the staff at the place where we dropped off didn't have the same "no touch policy" Piss poor service from initial service provider. And my further reviews will reflect that.Julie W.

I do not reccomend after hours online use. Not user friendly. Thankgod the manager happened to be on site after hours and was able to assist with pick up. Drop off. After another failed attempt online I had to call cust service and all she could Do was make a note. Not complete or ensure anything. Kind of a "good luck with that" statement.Joann G.

The refueling business is aggravating-- I forgot to take a picture of the fuel gauge when starting and the whole rental form which had that info disappeared from my phone. I had to call and get a verbal description of the level, but anyway, you can't see it when you're refueling so I ended up guessing how much to put in. There should be something sent from uhaul by text for instance that has the original fuel level and allows you to set the gauge where it is at the end and then tells you exactly how much to put in. Ok? Ok.??Lauren R.
We really like uhaul....but this was the absolute oldest equipment we ever had. Torn handle onbthe door, rusty mechanics.... if we weren't just a couple of miles we would have had cocerns. Fyi. Onlone return is very cumberson. Thank you. We do appreciate uhaul and all.you do.Laurie H.
