There is no dropbox for after-hours drop offs, even the U-Haul CSA was perplexed. Took us over an hour to get the suggestion they we just leave the keys in the truck and leave. 0/10

JOHN ANo complaints about the truck or location. I picked up and dropped off after hours so all interactions were online. Took over an hour to get the truck signed out as the app would not recognize my location or scan the barcode. After multiple reps trying to help me and waiting on hold forever it was suggested to use browser version and not app which did the trick! The app really seems to have many glitches. Highly recommend using browser version to reserve and pick up etc. DONT DOWNLOAD THE APP
Shawn D1. Better signage in the vehicle about the tow feature that automatically comes on. 2. More engaged employee. 3. Clean truck to begin with if users are expected to clean it afterwards. 4. Honestly about cost. It's ridiculous to post a daily rate when it is a fraction of what the cost will be. 5. Don't nickel and dime customers for blanket and wheely-cart use. 6. Clean the cab.
SARAH MI was just returning moving blankets that I had rented in Ottawa. The service agent was very unhelpful and surly.

Debbie mI was surprised and disappointed to be charged an additional $20 after returning the vehicle. I booked from 9am to 9pm but was never told I would be charged extra for returning after business hours. Especially since I left more gas in tank than when received.
MICHAEL MI spent many hours on the phone over a dozen calls regarding fixing the air conditioning and nobody knew what they were talking about. I was given a shop to take the equipment to but that is not work that shop does. There was a file started to adress compensation and nobody followed up

Deborah Vmy disappointment was that I had to drive an extra 90+ kms to pick up my rental and we got stuck with a smaller truck so that mean't an extra 2 trips from my storage place to my new place. I feel the km $ could have been discounted a bit more. all in all the service was great and we were satisfied.

Katherine AWhat a nice experience it was renting from here! Very friendly and helpful staff, and no issues with either pick up or drop off. Perhaps a wipe down if the floors and surfaces of the vehicle could make it better, but to be fair, it was raining. Will use this location again.

Myrna SWe were suppose to pick up in Lunenburg, they called 2 hours before and told us that the truck was damaged and we had to go to Bridgewater to get the same truck and they would take care of extra km. The truck was a 15" not a 10" and nobody had the 2 furniture dollies that we had in our reservation and the truck was not swept out. The lady in Bridgewater was not expecting us so this was not her fault.
Irene CMy paperwork indicated after hours drop off was possible, but no drop box for keys. Spoke with 2 people from uhaul and was told that location does not have after hours drop off - and no location in the area does. This made the whole process very difficult. Ended up having to leave the key with a friend.
Julia LWe first went to Uhaul in Oakhill, Lunenburg county, where we received excellent advice on when to book, travel to make sure we were able to get exactly the truck we required. Certainly, explaining to clients that planning early in the process and being flexible to the day you can actually move is very important info for you to share on your website.
Ian LVehicle broke down during the move and had to be towed away for repairs. Very disappointed with the quality (maintenance) of the vehicle.

myles wWas told the truck was charged for 2 days and it had to be dropped off by Sunday night by port side cause when I went to show them my licence Friday late afternoon, the truck was there and ready so instead of picking it up early Saturday morning I picked it up Friday late afternoon. They said the price wouldn’t change except for extra km and my gas. At around 12pm on Saturday UPS in Bridgewater called me to tell me I had to have the truck there before 3pm or I would have to wait till Monday to drop off the truck and key. I told them we didn’t make it to our destination yet but soon. I told him it didn’t give us much time. He said they didn’t have a drop box for the key. I specifically asked him if there was going to be an extra charge if I dropped the key Monday morning if we didn’t get there on time cause I was told it was good till Sunday night, he said that I would not be charged more. My boys drove passed the UPS store at 7:30 that evening and the lights were on there and a gentleman was outside talking to two gentleman in a cube van. They could have called me to let me know they were still there but they didn’t. We dropped the truck off Sunday Morning and my son dropped off the key Monday morning. I was charged $20 for after hours fee after being told I would not be charged extra. When I called UPS to ask why I was charged extra, he said cause I did. I told him he said that it would not cost extra, he said I did say that so I told him he shouldn’t have charged me extra cause I didn’t need to bring it back till Sunday and he told me to take it up with UHaul rudely.
helina gwhen I spoke to a representative in Halifax via phone I was give a 50 km radius NO CHARGE When I returned the U haul there was an email with a surcharge of %.98 taxes in on my VISA with my understanding that I exceeded the 40 km. In my opinion this should never been charged
Al CThe truck was full of snow. Couldn’t reach to clean off the top! The back wasn’t swept out. Fuel was at 5/8? Thought always start out with full tank.
MARY YAfter hours drop off that was advertised in the booking does not exist. There is no key drop off. It was ultimately frustrating and when calling for support the wait time was over one hour. This is horrific and one of the worst business practices.

KEYA RAfter driving for 5 hours, I went to drop off the truck at the location my contract cited. The woman who served me told me they were not a drop off spot and was not going to accept the truck. I showed her the contract which clearly showed this was the drop off spot. She seemed to be angry & frustrated. After a very long drive, I did not need this hassle at the end of the day. I would NOT recommend the UPS Store in Bridgewater, N.S. to anyone. I asked her where I should have dropped off the truck neither she nor the man behind the counter would tell me. VERY DISAPPOINTING experience! I basically had to tell her that I was leaving the truck there!

Blair FI rented a 2019 GMC Savanna cargo van. I was very satisfied with how the van worked, and especially the backup camera, which is very useful. The side door latch did not work properly. Plus I'm pretty sure the van had not been cleaned in any way. Certainly the cargo area had not been cleaned by the previous renter. During Covid-19 that isn't really acceptable.

Anna DFind outlets with employees who have integrity. The store we went with was amazing. Every other experience I've had with uhaul has been a kick in the teeth. This was such a pleasant experience. Thank you and keep up the good work.
MICHAEL AMake sure that your guy's link is working. Called you customer service hotline but no one can help me. If i get penalize because of our guys' fault because of that link not working i will get pissed . I have all the necessary proof to back this up. So you guys make sure to check it!
Knol KWe had to go to Bridgewater to collect the truck, somewhat inconvenient in the middle of a busy move. But all the staff were very helpful.

Michael CLocation was good service, getting a call a few hours before my scheduled pick up to be told my truck wasn't available was poor service... My vehicle was originally booked in green st. Halifax, for a move from Halifax to Brooklyn, Queens co. but hours before I was informed there was no truck available and ended up paying to drive a truck from high st Bridgewater empty to Halifax to load, then to Brooklyn to unload and returned truck to Bridgewater. The excessive mileage cost way over what it should have. Very disappointed in the service I received up to the point the Bridgewater location got involved.

BERNIE MThe top latch of the left, side entry door on the gmc van I used today was not working I had to use my finger to release it up top maybe get that fixed for the next person luckily I knew what to do someone might have issues with it though.

David SThere was garbage and spilled drink in between the two fronts seats when i picked up the van. The service representative at the UPS store # 202 (Kim?) was wonderful. Polite, knowledgeable and very engaging - she could give a seminar on how to properly treat customers.
