I was able to book for a 7am pick up four days before my move, which was confirmed. When I arrived to get the truck, the keys were unavailable and the store was closed. I waited until 10am when I was informed that two people had booked the truck so I may not be able to get it. Luckily I was given the truck as we had a small window to move in which had already been reduced by 3 hours. Had we been told in the few days before our move that a 7 am pick up was not possible, we could have planned for it. Instead we were left scrambling and calling customer service.

Ryan E.Getting the key was a long process. If there a better designated area that U-Haul had for key pick up within the UPS store it would help the counter person know you need a key. There were people in line for parcels and I needed to wait for them to complete their shipping. The u-haul process was smooth but broke down when trying to show the counter person my phone screen with the approval so I could get the key. She didn't look at the screen, kept asking my name (which is on the screen), asked me about odometer reading and fuel (I don't have a key yet so I can't answer that). It made the pick up frustrating. Drop off was easy because they were gone and I could put the keys in the drop box.
Shelby G.The truck itself and the staff were helpful but the self check in was cumbersome to go through not knowing what the process would be like - maybe at the beginning a check list of what you will be asked to do? It took a long time to go through. It would be helpful to have a time estimate in the awaiting approval section. And it was frustrating that we had already entered the license information when reserving but were asked again for this information at check in (it was not at all time saving). Overall though the truck was clean and staff were friendly and helpful!

She bent over backwards to look after me despite fact she has other jobs with UPS in the same office. I got my van within 25 minutes.. I only needed it to pickup a treadmill and bring to my residence. I returned the van short while later. The same clerk was there and speed ed up my return.. I do not know her name but she was awesome!! Please take not of this awesome employee........ Thank you I will return

Once the van is returned, I did not see any intention by the company of "cleaning the vehicle" ...I would rent the again thou.

Andrew R.Whatever computer interface your staff had to use was unfriendly. I easily navigated online reservation of the vehicle, filled out all the forms and entered my credit card info to speed up the counter time. Once in the office and trying to get the vehicle, the staff had trouble with my credit card swipe, tried a second card and had the same trouble. They eventually were able to get the original card to swipe, but the entire process took longer than it did for me to process everything online at home.

When I came to return my keys there were two people working on was helping a customer and the other appeared to be to chatting with friends/on her phone. Even though this location is close to my home, I would go out of my way to avoid it in the future.

The van was dirty and the service ridiculous. Once we dropped the van off they continued to call us to make payment even though they had our card details because they couldn't lease the van out until they had completed our paperwork. a complete joke!
arran H.The service attendant was ill-prepared to deal with the transaction, apparently not having training on the computer program, resulting in the need to contact UHaul customer service. As well, she charged me for 33km, when I only used 15 - Starting mileage 853 km (she wrote as 835), with final km as 868. I will be speaking to her regarding this, but I am extremely disappointed in this transaction. The van also stunk of stale cigarettes, a stench that was exacerbated by the air conditioning system. I will not be using this location - potentially this service - again.
