Van inside smelled very awful. Gas was just under where noted on receipt. Clerk did NOT walk around the van for an inspection with me.

I had to choose "well cleaned", as there is no other option... the van had only 12,000kms, so was new..but could some cleaning. There was dog hair on the seats, dash needs dusting. Once the van is returned, I did not see any intention by the company of "cleaning the vehicle" ...I would rent the again thou.

I am shocked and outraged that I was charged an additional fee for "credit card payment". Who does that? Without warning, too? (don't tell me it's in the fine print)

Whatever computer interface your staff had to use was unfriendly. I easily navigated online reservation of the vehicle, filled out all the forms and entered my credit card info to speed up the counter time. Once in the office and trying to get the vehicle, the staff had trouble with my credit card swipe, tried a second card and had the same trouble. They eventually were able to get the original card to swipe, but the entire process took longer than it did for me to process everything online at home.

Terrible customer service. Long wait to pick up and return keys. Little to no instruction/information about process or payment. They appeared to be surprised when I came to pick up a vehicle and even slightly annoyed. When I came to return my keys there were two people working on was helping a customer and the other appeared to be to chatting with friends/on her phone. Even though this location is close to my home, I would go out of my way to avoid it in the future.

The representative told me I shouldn't book on line because they overbook on occasion. I booked for 4 hours she gave it to me for 5 hours at an increased price. The express check in didn't get me out of the store any faster.

The charge on my visa on file was different from the actual rent receipt mailed to me. I hired U-haul truck many times before and twice in the last two weeks, but this never happened before. I'd like to request the refund of additional money as well as a foolproof policy for all clients to be charged the actual expenses and not any estimated amount.

This store was completely disorganized. They didn't have a dolly which we had ordered, they then said we could use their office one which fell apart after 5 mins. The van was dirty and the service ridiculous. Once we dropped the van off they continued to call us to make payment even though they had our card details because they couldn't lease the van out until they had completed our paperwork. a complete joke!

The service attendant was ill-prepared to deal with the transaction, apparently not having training on the computer program, resulting in the need to contact UHaul customer service. As well, she charged me for 33km, when I only used 15 - Starting mileage 853 km (she wrote as 835), with final km as 868. I will be speaking to her regarding this, but I am extremely disappointed in this transaction. The van also stunk of stale cigarettes, a stench that was exacerbated by the air conditioning system. I will not be using this location - potentially this service - again.

This location should be an example for all the rest. The vehicle was spotless and looked almost brand new. Check-in was quick and easy - certainly the best UHAUL experience I've had anywhere.

The truck I was to rent was stuck in the snow/ice and the owner and I tried to dig it out because I really needed the van. As it turned out, the renter of the other truck that was reserved (not in snow/ice) did not show up before closing so I was able to rent that truck. The UPS Store operator was exceptional in her care and service; she not only waited 15-20 minutes for the late customer but stayed later to rent the truck to me. She deserves Operator of the Year award without question. Thanks.

This was a nice surprise all along...the people there were efficient...when I came in, the contract papers were ready, no hassle...when I came back, everything went fast and I was out of there in no time...they offered me the invoice by email...guess what, upon my return back home, here it was, right there on the iPad...very much appreciated...I would go back there anytime.

I had great service from the moment I walked through the door to rent the UPS UHaul Van at the location in Dartmouth NS on Portland St. They explained everything to me and when I had questions by email they replied right away. Great customer service!

The location opened late. My reservation was changed to a different location and time. If I had not realized this before my pickup date I would not have had a truck to move with. I was overcharged for mileage. The website says .69 per km and my invoice reads $1.11 per km????

We walked around the weedy area for a long time before finding a small hole in the garage door or wall with a written note that it was for Uhaul keys. Since no one was around (Saturday about 1:30pm), we put the keys in the hole. We were very happy we had full coverage insurance, since we left it with other trucks in sort of a vacant lot. This is what we were told to do when picking it up in Albany, but it seemed quite sketchy.

the man in charge was great, but the equipment was dirty and had been sitting for a few months. Also the tail lights kept shorting out. Since i was traveling 16 hours this was inconvient to me.

The rails on the inside of the trailer were falling off so I repaired them! This loation wasn't the one I chose to rent from as it was too far from my home yet I apparently had no choice as to where I picked up the trailer & where I returned it even though it was extremely inconvenient. Customer service isn't foremost in U-Haul's busines practices.

Drop-off was done outside of business hours. Inside conditions are unknown. Key drop was obscure. I'm glad I did a drive-by during the daylight hours before trying to drop off the truck.

No signs for the location. It was out of no where, and I had to travel a great distance just to get there from my house. I asked for a dolly, however there was not one with the truck. The guy there was nice, but the location and environment there was not great at all

The trailer was filthy, there was moss growing on it. The first thing that I di was wash it. The hinges for the door were al ceased up. I dont think that there had been any maintenance on the unit. for a very long time.

It is hard to gain acees to (legally, because of a double centre line. The operator doesn't appear to be availble always during the advertised hours.

I have comments to make on my Uhaul experience. It was bad, bad and worse. I live in Ottawa and booked a trailer for preferred location of North Vancouver. The day before I was to pick up the trailer I got a call indicating I would have to travel to Port Moodie,..I was not happy with that as I now had to re-arrange with people I had lined up to travel with me to Port Moodie, 40 minutes away. I made those arrangements and then 2 hours later I got another call saying that I would now have to travel to Langley 3 hours return. This caused me major grief, in a city I am not familiar with. I now had to race around and find people to travel 3 hours instead of 1/2 hour. The Uhaul recording says you "make moving easy",.. you should get that changed as this was one of the worst experiences. In addition to this I made the reservation with a credit card and the person at the pickup location gave my son a really hard time, refusing to release the trailer without a credit card. He charged him and then said, "oh there was already a credit card on this reservation". Incompetence from start to finish. What more can I say except I cannot imagine sayng anything nice about my Uhaul experience. The 2 people that called me to change the locations were not sympathetic at all. Their attitude was pretty much,.. too bad. At the very end a girl by the name of Erin apologized and offered a discount but at that point it was too little, too late. I hope that someone in your administration can check to make sure I DO NOT GET CHARGED TWICE. That of course would be the icing on the cake and since everything else went wrong, I am not confident that will be correct.

The person in this location is very helpful, but it's too far away from where I lived. I will recommend people who live close by. However, the call center staff's attitude was very bad and unprofessional. We were not told clearly that we had to pick up a truck in the East side of Vancouver and pick up the trailer in the above location. By the time we drove the truck back home in Vancouver, it was 10:15pm. It was almost ruined our plan. It was such a bad experience for us. If we knew we had to pick up two things in different location, we would not choose U-hual at all.
