Jim DThe location opened at 10. We got there a little after 11. There was a note on the door that said to call a number. We called it no answer. I called the number on the website, no answer. I had to call UHaul customer service to get help returning our rental. The lady only called us back cause she saw she had a missed call. By this time we had left, said she had gone to lunch. My husband asked her a question about tire sizes for the dollies. She got an attitude with him when she couldnt answer the question he was asking and she began to get rude so he disconnected the call.
calum rI dropped off the truck, took photos to show location of drop off (just in case) as I always do. Dropped keys in box. It was very easy to find and drop off the truck

Tracy SApproximately 75 miles into the trip there was a warning that the oil level was low and needed oil added. After attempting two dealers along the route at were both closed, I found a dealer in Sweet Springs that was available. The people there were extremely helpful and friendly. They added 2 quarts of oil and checked for a leak. The warning did not return for the rest of the trip, however, I lost over an hour of travel time. I would expect that maintenance checks are completed before sending out a truck that is obviously going to be driven over a distance. If I had been traveling after business hours I would have been stuck since I would not have known the type of oil to add. I was traveling by myself and this could have proven dangerous on so many levels.

Ainsley Bperson was late by 30 minutes past my reservation despite calling them ahead of time and informing them I would be coming by to pick up the truck. Truck has the weather stripping holding the windshield on coming off. Truck had barely any gas in it. Would not recommend this location.

Suzanna JI Dropbox for where to put the key when you’re finished with the vehicle is nowhere in plain sight, you have to walk around the property to find it, it ended up being next to a mobile home that someone may have been inside, but nobody was in the building, and there was nobody on the lot to help explain where to put the key. The driveway was made of gravel, and the other vehicles were not properly organized so parking the vehicle was very difficult.

Morgan was clear, understanding, and I felt she worked in my best interest and helped me through the process making it easy. I recommend her very highly, over the other U-Haul providers in town.

devon mGreat location that is here to serve their customers. They came in several hours early to rent me my truck since I had a 18 hour drive, greatly appreciate them for that. Truck was clean & they also gave me the newest truck on the lot since I had such a drive. Had the pads and dolly in the back for me. Would use this place again.
Nicholas HDropping off equipment the storage facility was closed. No one was there to physically accept the key and rental contract.
JONATHAN SUsually we use the UHaul location on Kasold in Lawrence which is great and efficient and clean. This location is filthy inside, stuff piled everywhere, messy desks and floors. The manager wasn’t very knowledgeable or helpful (for example said she booked someone to come help us set up the trailer, but then admitted they usually don’t come so we had to drive over to the other location anyway).

Richard MI was scheduled to pick up a trailer at 10:00 a.m. on Moday August 8, 2022. No one was at work and no one answered the phone to the number posted on the door. I called the Hays uhaul and they gave me a cell number. When I finally got in contact by phone it was 10:13 a.m. When the lady arrived it was 10:25, no apology was offered.

John TI had a pick up appointment in the morning. Nobody was there and when I called the number posted on the door the person said they would be there in 10 minutes. 40 minutes later they finally showed up right as I was getting ready to leave. From what I was told this is a pretty common occurrence.

Bryan CThe sign on the door said open but no one was there. They were an hour late and very unprofessional. We called several times and they kept telling us they were almost there. They checked the lights on the car tow dolly and told us they worked but on the way home we noticed they didn’t. They sent us across town to another Uhaul place to get the light fixed which put us another hour behind schedule

jeff mCanceled my already made reservation and rung me up as a walk-in, which caused my rate to go up by roughly $140. Refused to honor the price that I had reserved at, which I showed her from the emails and reservation records online, and did not listen to anything I had to say. Kept telling me that "I didn't know what I was talking about," and that "I should just be grateful for any rate I get." Refused to adjust rate and rushed to leave after I tried bringing up my concerns. Had to call the scheduler I spoke with on the phone the previous day to have rate adjusted to proper amount. I would not recommend this location to anyone and feel they should not be renting U-Hauls if they refuse to honor contracts and agreements that have already been established.
