Easy rental. Trailer worked great, tracked well, BUT... my truck has a trailer brake system in it and the trailer (twin axle, car hauler) didn't have a brake system, why not? Even my single axle motorcycle trailer has brakes that activate when I apply the brakes on the truck!! Bearing in mind the weight of the trailer and adding a 4000 lb. Vehicle on top of it, why wouldn't you have brakes on it?? Otherwise great, trouble free experience.MARC P.

The " store , if you want to call it that " , looked like a Hoarders home !! The woman at the cash register knew nothing about what she was supposed to do ! I went to one U-haul store to pick up my truck and they couldn't help me , and sent me 20 miles away to get a truck ? They couldn't even find me on their Computer ! The truck had mechanical problems that made the engine race " when ever you were stopped at a traffic light " ! I had to pay $135. to drive the truck from Ocala, to Gainesville " 41 miles " !! I will never use U-haul again , i would rather pay more for a better experience !!!ROBERT N.
It took 1 hr. and 45 min. to get the trl. because UHaul computer kept failing! I could not get a paper copy of my contract, due to the problems with the computer I got double billed! I just hope next time I need a trailer there is another company that offers a rental!GERALD H.

I'm very disappointed with the staff at this location. I brought the truck back the same day,even though I have to bring it back the next day. When I picked up the truck, I took picture of the speedometer and fuel gage. When I brought the truck back, I filled the gasoline tank the same amount when I picked it up. (I also took a picture when we parked the truck back at the location) I was charged $48.78 more, because they said I didn't put gasoline back in the truck. I just spoke to Marlyn Buchalla and she was very nasty at her response. I will need to rent a truck soon,but I will not be renting with Uhaul.Kazimierz Z.

Haul online is a joke. They changed my reservation and location and notified me only 20 minutes before I was to pick up truck. I had to drive to a different location and took over an hour to Chechen in and get a different truck. The woman at the Hardware store was great but completely overwhelmed due to the online system screwing up everyone's orders.Yayanti S.
The cashier/owner was great but the process took a long time. She had to call someone from UHAUL in order to complete my registration and rent mean truck. The woman in front of me also had issues with the process.Matosha M.
The drop off location that was given us by the 800 number was too far away.....14 miles from where we were. The lady that handled our turn in was very short.... and called us after we left and was difficult about the condition of interior of the truck and the pads.....basically charged us another $54.....This has been a very difficult and disappointing move for us with U-Haul.david C.

Lady at rental was totally a basket case. She would be better not working. No memory, did not know how to do anything on computer. Had to contact corporate 3 times for a simple 1 day rental. Took over an hour to rent after doing most all on line daughter booked it and night before rental she had car trouble so we had to use mine. Woman could not figure out what to do. Unbelievable. I will never rent there again or recomend them. Total disaster. Returned unit 5 hours later and she had no recollection of the morning disasterErin C.
Marilyn Buchalla treated us better than family when renting a truck to move to NY. Because of the Covid19 virus and difficulty finding a home, we had to change the rental date for a truck numerous times. She was always very professional and considerate each time we had to call and change the date. We never felt like we were bothering her. She followed up and checked on us and did little things we would never expect. So in conclusion, there's no improvements needed at Thoroughbred Hardware. U-Haul assigned a drop location too far. I contacted this location which is the closest to me, they assisted me. I was able to return the truck to this location. They took care of the issue quick,. They are very professional and helpful. Great customer service!melba A.

People had no clue on trailers and hitches I had to call another location to verify towball hitch required . Lady couldn't even print contract. This was the worse uhaul rep I ever metDANIEL RICHARD M.
A tire had to be changed by the UHaul Corp man who happened to be there. The counter lady was not proficient (computer literate) in completing the contract. It too way too long to be processed.robert E.
Drop off was off a road, not easily seen. Address leads you wrong way on gps. Another thing you need to work on is prompting people to not drop keys in drop box before doing the drop off check in. I was not able to take pics of vehicle insides due to dropping keys off and then doing check in.Stephen C.

The fuel level may have been a few gallons short when I returned it. But they said it was at 1/8 a tank instead of 3/8. They charged me for the wrong fuel level. Will NOT rent here againMark M.

I tried to submit photos of the inside of my rental on the inspection but it would only submit if I approved the item. The check engine light was on in the truck but it ran well and the store manager said that it had already been checked out.JOVAN W.
