Took too long to do paperwork.
JOHN ETerrible customer service. Seemed like they were being difficult. My son picked up as alternative driver. It was critical for us to have this trailer to move. Said they couldn't give him trailer because system wasn't working and they couldn't get his driver license. He offered to send a download...they said no. Another rep came up and got it. Then said his truck was too tall. We have rented at different location gor 3 weekends and not a problem. I put my debit card on file for payment so my son didn't have to. She would not use it. Said he had to pay NOW to take it. I think it was the owner...beyond rude. Time consuming so we lost loading time. Will never rent from there again. If this was our first experience with Uhaul....we would never use your company again.
chris RPerson needs to retire. Doesn't think clearly. Keeps repeating the same questions over and over. Takes way too long to process paperwork and get the customer on the road. Not very friendly and treats customer like there business is not appreciated. If you ask a question, they rudely reply: "I been doing this for 40 years." I will not rent from them again!

Daniel CThe lady asked same questions about 15 times and could not work computer and kept calling u haul and was trying to sell me a transporter instead of a dolly. Big mess. In previous years she has been good but older age, memory, and tremors are not making it for us people to get good service.
APRIL CWrong size truck, no key in the lockbox when I picked up. Could not check in when I returned the truck.
Cassandra KHave someone fill in for lunch duty. Having to wait an hour for someone to get back from lunch can be excruciating when you don’t have a lot of time. Have a checklist of the information the customer will need on the hitch and ball.. also have those items available to rent in the event that their equipment does not comply., after all you are in the rental business. I’m not saying I would never go back to this location , but it would be my very last choice.. Besids all the these issues, the service was HORRIFIC! Took forever to check in and check out .

DOMINGO GUHaul cost me over $200 because of their inept capabilities of the entire process and experience I had! I will be calling corporate! Horrible horrible experience! The facility I picked it up was more than accommodating it was U-Haul in general that made my experience the worst ever and very costly! I will be seeking reimbursement

Richard MThis was the worst experience I've ever had. The old lady trying to enter data in the computer had nothing but problems and I had to constantly repeat myself. After 3 attempts send me a link to enter a drivers license photo, she said she didn't know how to do it any other way. After an excruciating wait, she finally figured it out and entered the info manually. The time was roughly 9:10 AM. When ask what time I intended to return the trailer, I told her between 9:30 and 10:00 AM the next day which was confirmed by an employee. I arrived at 9:35 the next day to return the trailer and was charged an additional $54.95 because I was 25 minutes past the 9:10 time on the contract after specifically telling her I would return it between 9:30 and 10:00. If she was going to use my arrival time the day before as a return time, then why ask me for a return time? As far as I'm concerned, I return the trailer exactly when I said I would. I'm hoping that after reading this review, U-Haul will contact me to discuss the situation and reverse that $54.95 charge. Additionally, I intend to dispute the charge with my credit card company and if I do not receive satisfaction, I intend to post my experience all over social media. David MGreat service. Was my first time renting a Uhaul. Owner explained everything to me reserved the truck. I went back the day before I needed truck because they are closed on Sunday..I ended up using the truck and finished my move the same day..took the truck back and dropped off the key in a key box.. I had a good experience with then..I recommend this place

ALLAN ROn 7 October 2023, it was very difficult for the attendant to process all the required documents for both rental pickup and return. Not sure if entire system was having problems or that specific location needed system upgrade.

DOUGLAS SHave the description match the equipment. I rented a 6 foot wide trailer to haul a mower to the shop. While I was finishing the paperwork the trailer was hooked up for me. I made the assumption that 6 feet wide meant just that. Well the design of the trailer sides has the back corners turned in providing only 5 feet of clearance which my mower would not fit through. I returned the trailer unable to use it and charged the full price because I took it off the property. Not happy to say the least!

James YI have rented 8 uhaul trucks over the years, by far the worst service at this location, she wanted me to bring the pads in, and put them in a bag, and fold them the correct way, I never got a bag and they were folded the same way I received them, did anybody see what I went through on Wednesday? To spend $3500 a be treated like an idiot, I feel as a company your service has gone down, and there are other options for renting trucks and trailers, I will also give my friends and family an honest opinion of this nightmare

Dawn FFor one, have the equipment I reserved there it was not. I had to call U Haul to find out why it was not there. and had to take a larger truck. That cost me more in fuel.
Paul CThe link would not work when trying to return therefore for some reason they thought I returned it 2 days later and was charged an extra $90! When I called to tell them it was incorrect she was telling me that’s not true. I will not ever rent from this company again

Angelette DReservation was a nightmare. Customers waiting to rent because the link to photograph the driver’s license continued to malfunction repeatedly. Training the people using this process would be beneficial.

Gladys FI'm very disappointed that I was moved to a new drop off location without being told ahead of time. I didn't know till I showed up to the original drop off location. Then when I got to the second location she said they were full and couldn't take me. I spent time running around which I couldn't afford. I think y'all should give me a rebate of some amount due to the inconvenience you caused me.

Kory LOwner EXTREMELY rude. They closed @ 3, but we arrived @ 3:05 and she was still there - she told us she was staying late for a customer who was late picking up a trailer (she made it clear that she was very annoyed at him). We told her we were dropping our off and she went ahead and charge us for an "after-hours return"!!! AND she bitched at us...yelling...that we weren't allowed to leave it where we had unhitched (edge of parking lot, up near her fence) and that we HAD to "put it back where we found it"!!! We will NEVER go back to Thoroughbred Hardware and Feed EVER. If this was the only U-Haul place in Florida, I'd drive to GA...or I'd rent from another company. The whole experience sucked and there's not enough room here to adequately explain it all.
