CLEAN THE DAMN VAN!!! IT WAS FILTHY!!! ALSO, CHECK THE TIRES... REAR PASSENGER SIDE WENT FLAT. I HAD TO WAIT ALMOST 2 HOURS FOR ASSISTANCE!!! THAT TOOK 2 HOURS OFF MY RENTAL TIME AND CAUSED ME NOT TO BE ABLE TO PICK UP A MATTRESS AT A STORE ONE MILE DOWN THE ROAD. NOW I'M SLEEPING ON AN AIR MATTRESS ON THE FLOOR BECAUSE I HAVE NO WAY TO PICK ONE UP AT A STORE!!! NO THANKS TO U-HAUL AND ITS INADEQUATE EQUIPMENT!!!ELLEN MERCIE C.

The truck was excellent and worked well. The manager was friendly and helpful The trailer I ordered a trailer was not usable. Wiring for tail lights was broken and no one was there to repair. I did not take the trailer and made do with just the truck as the promised repairs were not done at the time promised. I needed to get on the road and could not wait. Ratchets on the car hauler were rusty and hard to disengage The 26 foot truck had very loose steering and if you took your eves off the road for 2 seconds it was on it's way to the next lane. Gages were near impossible to read during the day because they're under part of the dash and have blue indicator needles. That's not your fault buy the Ford designTHOMAS L.
Overall it was fine, but I did not like the curbside checkout and check-in. Everything is done over the phone and I had to do all the work. I like personal customer service. I hope once Covid is better, Uhaul will go back to serving the customers themselves.SIGRID S.

Waited almost an hour to get approved out side of thrifty via website. Was charged for that your and had to pay to extend it another hour. AC in the rental didn't work on a 90Â° morning. Awful experience.Linda E.

Very unorganized, had to conduct business outside was not allowed into store which required me to go to Home Depot to purchase moving supplies. Check engine light was on and manager said it good. Had to do my own inspection. Did not like the service at all.Kevin K.
Uhaul might check the air in tyres but you should deep clean the interior of each truck and spray heavy grease lubricant on the ratchet mechanisms of both units on auto trailer. The strap was miswound so tightly that I had to fight 20 minutes in 100 degree south Florida weather. Janet at Thrifty was excellent and met and exceeded our needs.Ferderic A.

There is very limited space to hook the truck up to the auto transporter. It is pretty tight between the storage units and the fence. No help was offered to hook up or remove the trailer.KEVIN L.

Absolute sh!tshow!!! I'm always late. Always. It was a miracle I arrived at 7:23 for a 7:30am pick up. I go in the uhaul share get the code for my assigned box. Code worked.. awesome! Go to the vehicle I reserved and the keys don't work. I try a couple more times. Def not the keys to the van. So I look at the key see the vehicle code. It's a 15ft truck not 9ft cargo van. I call uhaulâ€¦.. sit on hold for 32 mins. Finally speak to a lady inform her of the situation. Last thing I need is to be pulled over by the police for not having the van I was supposed to. Needless to say. The manger of thrifty calls me and asked how I even had a reservation. I booked online pervious night. She was baffled. They charged me for the 15ft truck and mileage fee for their mistake. Horrible customer service and not managed well. Go somewhere else. Moving is stressful enough. This place is not the go to if you want a smooth transition.Amanda G.

The vehicle was not cleaned well in the cargo and cab areas. There were ants in the cargo and cab areas. I expected the furniture pads, hand truck and furniture dolly to be loaded in the rear of the truck prior to pickup, not so. The customer had to pickup and load the equipment from the office area. I have rented equipment from other UHaul areas and never had this kind of experience. Not Good!Daniel G R.

Im not sure if it is their fault or not but I do the SAKE EXACT tow nearly every 2 weeks and so far is has increased price everytime, but all of a sudden now it has even gone up more I have receipts in hand I can send that show my invoices being 155.99 then im being charged over 500 for the same exact tow. I mean that's food from my families mouth and 3 hauls for me that I now can't do. Office locked during office hours. I explained the fuel situation to the person that showed up at door and I still got charged $27 for fuel when I delivered truck with same fuel level. I mentioned that truck mechanical situation is bad. I had a VERY scary drive. Truck seemed out of alignment or something worse.Nader T.

We had to move the trailer ourselves to be able to put it on our truck. The outside was dirty and inside as well. We ended up with smudge on our furniture. Not a good experience at all.joseph B.

The information I received was incomplete and misleading. I had not idea that it was going to cost me about $200 for only one day. I was disappointed about the long wait in the office-the computers were not working and the lady/employee was having a very hard time (it wasn't her fault) . The return/drop off process was very complicated. I had to call the number and have a customer service person stay on the line with me for 20 min helping and guiding me. I feel like I wasted a lot of time and money renting the U Haul. I won't be recommending or using UHaul for a long time.Silvie W.

Gas gauge was not functioning properly. Explained to the clerk that it was bouncing around and needed to be checked out. I only went a grand total of 12 miles and put in over two gallons of gas in. I was charged over $12 in additional fuel charges. This was after renting a same size unit at a specific location close to where we needed only to find out that they'd sent us to this dealer with no notice. I would not recommend using U-Haul period.MICHAEL M.

The "return website" didn't work properly, which made the return process a little stressful, but it all worked out in the end. Perhaps U-Haul needs a dedicated app instead of just a website but, all in all, everything worked out. Janet and her assistant manager at the Tamiami Trail location were wonderful, and everything ended up working out according to the original plan.
