JA SThe location was great and the staff was friendly and professional. However, I had to travel an extra 50 miles for my vehicle which of course I get charged for-not happy. I had requested the vehicle in my own town but the day before I was told it was only available at another location- 59 miles away round trip. At the site, of course , the previous renter had not returned the requested vehicle on time. Vehicle was not there. I had to rent a local vehicle which added to the cost. The staff at location were helpful and friendly. However it seemed like I ended paying more than I wanted and that the entire process felt like a hassle. The location was not the issue. The issue was convenience, availability and more cost than had planned to spend.

BRIAN BAfter we picked up the truck, we headed out in I-90 and it began to rain. The driver's side windshield wiper did next to nothing. That is until it fell apart. Then it did absolutely nothing. So here I am , driving on I-90 near dusk in the pouring rain with no driver side windshield wiper. Not a pleasant experience. You know, yinz should safety check your trucks a bit more often, eh?

WILLIAMRUSSELL WEverything went smooth here except for the issue of splitting up the original contract which forced me to make an unplanned 2 hour drive to pick up the truck to haul this trailer. Uhaul's inability to have a truck sent to this location for my contract was not the fault of this location. Uhaul should be compensating me for my financial loss and the time and frustration this cost me.
wilbert ASo we dropped off the uhaul truck in Dunkirk ny a little after 6pm. Mind you I got after 2 pm the same day august 16. So I didn’t use the truck for not even 4 hours. So the office was closed and keys was left in the drop box. I get an email at about 9-10 am saying uhaul company in Dunkirk charge me a cleaning fee of $32??? So I call the Dunkirk office first to see why they charge me a cleaning fee because the same way I got the truck is the same way I return it. So I asked the guy what was left in the truck and he said socks and hangers? I said impossible because I only moved sectional couches and a futon? Where the hangers and socks come from? Then the guy said oh it only took me 4 minutes to clean up but it took me 15-20 minutes to do paper work. I told them I will never rent from them again. One they over charged me from even renting a small 10 footer truck for $156.00 and then charge me a cleaning fee as well. Uhaul is over charging for no reason. Never again. Yes I’m giving Uhaul a bad review.
Maria CMoving pads and dolley in back of truck should be CLEARLY LABELED that there will be a fee charged, and what the fee is, to use! Just another way to run up the bill. Also nothing ever said about a $9 rental tax. Just makes bill higher and higher. Low truck rental rates just a tease to get you to come in. Not enough trucks available and you are sent to a farther away location to run up mileage. Another huge RIP off.
Charles CUsing the app for pickup takes a good 20 minutes. Using the app to return could take hours especially if it's not working and you have to call the 800 number and wait on hold for 2 hours... Would absolutely recommend that people pick up and drop off during normal business hours.

Michael WDid not have the moving blankets we order in the truck. The office was closed and we had to do a virtual check in and this made us drive to Orchard Park Ny to retrieve the moving blankets we ordered and needed.

Nicholas YTrailor leaked when rained. So some stuff got wet. Was not happy.
