They was ok. He had a hard time getting his internet up and running so he could check the truck in.
michele pI rented under the 24/7 method. The app is slow and glitchy. It took me an hour to get everything finished during pick up. If someone can update the app to be more user friendly the pick up and drop off time would be faster.
Lance SIt wasn't until I got a voice message from the man in Junction City, Kansas that the U-Haul was to be dropped off with him on Saturday at 10:00. I called him back, a very nice man. I told him what Pete in Lawrence had told me about dropping it off in Manhattan and Pete had said ignore that and drop it off in Manhattan. Mr. Almond (?) let me know that I couldn't do that they would charge me. Then he said I needed to call and change the destination, at that time he gave me the number to call. He was very informative and I am grateful he called me. But when I called the number : I tried to explain the situation I got a person who just repeated to me that I had signed a contract. Over and Over. That is when I informed her I wouldn't be using this service again and I am going to report this to the Better Business, her response was yes mam, yes mam . I was just looking for some answers to change the drop off spot because I didn't estimate the mileage to drive it another 20 miles to the Junction City Kansas. Because my original order wasn't even considered and was changed this did cause a lot of problems. We loaded the truck and went to Manhattan to unload it then we dropped the UHaul off in Junction City. KS all in the same day. You have some people who don't care about representing the U-Haul company. I am sure I am not the first to call, or she wouldn't be so ready to do a broken record technique on a customer.
Kay RWhen picking up, the app would not work on Android. App worked in Apple. We were looking for a lockbox but the lock was on the truck. Update to images and description of where the key will be located.

Tychelle JThe lock door was broken. They glue to the hole, imagine driving and the lock fell out. No safe truck. I have pictures to prove this.
Gracia EIf a customer requests a truck for 2 days they should be able to do so. Not pay for 2 days and only get it for a day and a half. Having to use the truck in 95 degrees without a/c was also unacceptable. I will not be using U-Haul again in the future.

Fabricio GMake sure all equipment on the truck is working and ready for the customer to use ( ramp jammed ). Truck leaking transmission fluid. Check engine service light stayed on. I was told that the vehicle was good to go and the mechanic forgot to reset the code.
earvin hThe trailer was not clean inside. The door was out of alignment from top to bottom. It required me to press hard on the bottom of the door to get it to close up with the top. It did track smoothly, and the tires were good. It was tight against water and dust.

Antonio CCustomer service was fine but the truck was junk! And we ordered a truck in Manhattan,KS and they sent us 30 minutes away to pick it up. Ironic when you have to pay miles. Not happy with Uhaul.

Leonard sWell I reserved the truck with one month of anticipation I know in June it is a lot of moving and I reserved a dolly for appliances too, the day that suppose to get the truck no dolly in the Truck, the Sir was so disrespectfully to me when I was question about the dolly. I have to go to rent one in another place. The tires of the truck was so bad. The day of my moving it was raining and tires was slippery on the road. The brakes also was bad, the attic of the truck was leaking and the boxes that I have had there was wet.
Gracia TThe truck was extremely old and the brakes were iffy I'm glad I did not have far to go with the in-city move. It was clean but my complaint is with the age and brake condition.
Paula PThe truck was 2 Gallons low on coolant and the truck almost overheated had i not caught the temp gauge climbing. Look under the hood and found the coolant reservoir bone dry, so bought 2 gallons of prestone at a local auto parts (had to get a ride there and back to truck) and filled the cooling system on the truck so we could drive the truck back 2 hours to return it.

diane hTim's auto sales was just a great location to rent from; the customer service was top notch. I was called a day prior and despite issues with my uhaul reservation, they went out of their way to make sure I got the equipment I needed and on time. Highly recommend!

Marie WWe reserved and paid for the I-haul on line. The location was specified on line. When we got there, we were expecting a quick process of just picking up the key and getting on our way. The gentleman helping us had us pay extra fees. When I asked about it, he said it was taxes and that they can’t charge that on line because of the difference in cities. Even though our paperwork online specifically stated that location. He was not very friendly and he did not wear a mask, which I found to be highly irresponsible and disrespectful. We were there at least 15 minutes which I find ridiculous since we did all our paperwork ahead of time on line, including payment (except for the hidden fee, of course).

Jared WTruck had just over a quarter of a tank, after the proper-tier told me it was at 6/8s. Cargo area of the truck was dirty, had to sweep it out before I loaded my household goods. Other than the online portion of u-Haul, that was the only thing that was worth the experience.
Brian RDon't hide all the fees. I was not told about taxes nor was I told about an environmental fee. I was under the impression I would be getting money back out of my 100.00 deposit and now I find out I still owe money.

TODD HThe place was out of my way, but necessary to obtain a truck. Nothing against the place. They did a great job of preparing the truck and having it ready. I did not know that I was to leave the lock that was on the truck. Now have to mail it which will be an additional expense to me. The 24/7 instructions are easy to follow but should have included instructions to leave the lock.
